I highly recommend the BLT. There is a generous amount of bacon. It was cooked just right, Not too limp and not too crisp. It is served with chips and a little tub of pickles. Tried Surfers Point Cafe for the first time and it completely blew us away. The food was incredible- every dish tasted fresh, intentional, and high quality. You can genuinely taste the difference in the ingredients, which is rare to find these days. The beer my boyfriend had was crisp, and refreshing. It ended up pairing perfectly with his meal. Hands down, this is one of the best Italian sandwiches we've ever had- and that's saying a lot considering we've actually been to Italy. Everything felt authentic but still elevated. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was not only friendly, but truly knowledgeable. They made great recommendations and you could tell they take pride in both the food and the overall experience. In a time where good customer service can be hit or miss, this place really stands out. Sweet little spot with pretty plants and a wall of dog pics, what more could I ask for? Been here a few times and the breakfast burrito is a go-to but recently changed it up with the breakfast sammy bagel. It was neatly prepared and perfect for splitting with the bf...the perfect bite with a cold brew. We ordered a little after 730am and it came out quickly and served to our table. stopped by Tuesday 1pm ish and even though there were some people there the service was quite fast. appropriately fast though, like they care about the food theyre cooking up for you. the blt i had was really good. at first i thought the pickles on the side were great cuz i dont like when they're automatically added to my food but there were in fact pickles in my veggie blt already. i didnt mind cuz i couldve just asked for no pickles. everything was reasonably priced (to me, a broke college student). for my veg blt and drink it was 20 bucks. also i saw peoples reviews about the customer service which i disagree with. the person who took my order got started so quickly on my mocha it was crazy. and the guy with glasses (im assuming the cook) came out to hand us our food (i was assuming it would be left somewhere for us to eventually pick up on our own). super nice people!! read more

I was going to hit a spot on the avenue but instead I saw that the breakfast burrito from surfers point has hash browns in it so I went there instead. I got a sausage breakfast burrito and a VERY small orange juice for $18. The price was more than I would have liked to spend but that wasn't the disappointing part. That came later when I got my burrito that was smaller than my hand. It was sort of a joke really. Also- they don't have ketchup? What's that about. This place used to be cool, but now it's just following the cool coffee shop esthetic trend and price gouging with small portions. Not going back.... read more

Update: Seems like there is new ownership and some changes have taken place. The decor surfboards outside are removed. The small bar area has been changed into a kitchen prep space and new teak tables and chairs are in the indoor dining space. I did try their breakfast burrito- it's much more American 'gringo' style compared to breakfast burritos from local tacquerias. Surfers' burritos have eggs, cheese, and hash brown patty, and meat or avo choice; no beans or rice. Slightly blander tasting for me, but still satisfying. Usually the few times I have come, the atmosphere seems quieter and low key. I find it a relaxing space due to not being over-crowded. You can really enjoy coffees and conversations with friend. Weekends may draw larger crowds. Note- their listed prices are cash prices, so you do get 4% discount, and of course the 4% charge if you use credit card. read more

Stopped by this place for a quick bite and a cup of coffee. Love the range the menu offers and the atmosphere. Love the pictures of all the doggos on the wall . My partner and I got the loaded breakfast burrito and asked for it to be cut in half, love how they brought it out wrapped separately already and we each had our own salsa. The breakfast burritos were the BOMB. Salsa was really good too. My only problem was with the coffee, the syrup and coffee taste was good. We both got the maple pecan latte but the coffee came out super watery. like an americano. the ice was melted, and i believe they shake their drinks because there was foam on top of the drink like it was shaken. So I would suggest for the latte drinks to be made in a pitcher, with the syrup then espresso then milk and stir and pour it into the cup filled with ice. Without shaking the drink with the ice and hot espresso. It takes away the creamy taste that the latte offers. But that's just my opinion as a Barista myself! Other than that, the service was amazing, the cashier was so nice, and the guy bringing out our food as well. Definitely will be back! but will ask if my latte can be stirred instead of shaken lol. read more
