Cold brew with oatmilk
Elizabeth G.

Sweet little spot with pretty plants and a wall of dog pics, what more could I ask for? Been here a few times and the breakfast burrito is a go-to but recently changed it up with the breakfast sammy bagel. It was neatly prepared and perfect for splitting with the bf...the perfect bite with a cold brew. We ordered a little after 730am and it came out quickly and served to our table. We'll be back soon to keep supporting our local businesses.

Very tasty food and great coffee! The Italian sandwich is the best in Ventura so get it sp. The outside space is prime and is A+ for atmosphere.

Make pecan breve, but I swapped the milk for oat milk.

I wanted a good sandwich and found this place. I am very impressed by the location and comfy ambiance inside! The cashier in the front was beyond sweet! Honestly, the attitudes of the workers are very important to me and I'll definitely be back! I tried the

We had a delicious lunch at Surfers Point. The sandwiches were large and amazing. The outdoor seating was inviting and the coffee fantastic. We hope to return soon.

This is definitely a landmark in Ventura, I've been coming here on and off for years, many times I enjoy the Tuna sandwich. I have to tell you, this is now, HANDS down the best Tuna sandwich in Ventura. And they have beer.

I think everything about this coffee spot is ideal. The location is prime and really close to the beach. There is plenty of parking spots perfect for surfing rigs and it has a great ambience to it. Employees are very friendly.

Great spot for coffee and breakfast burritos. We sat on the patio with our dog after a beach visit. Easy parking in the lot and not too busy early. The breakfast burritos are great.

Everything is good here. Loaded breakfast burrito and Italian sandwich are fire. The coffee is also good here. The service is super friendly.

One of the most amazing Turkey sandwiches, amazing atmosphere, and super nice staff.

Off the charts. Absolutely amazing food. The most relaxing and chill atmosphere. Super neat ce people both working here and patrons. I come here every time I come to Ventura. It is close proximity to Amtrak, the Fairgrounds, Harvest Festival, and Downtown Ventura. HIGHLY recommend. I get the Turkey every time and it's made with this super swanky bread, cheese, and basil. Yum. Can't wait to come back again. Great work to Surfers Point Owner, Management, and Staff.

This seriously addicting coffee shop, which started in Santa Barbara, has been a Ventura favorite for quite some time now, and it's been so fun watching them grow. Nestled in a charming converted cottage, this cozy café is the perfect addition to Downtown Ventura. When I stopped by over the weekend, they were insanely busy so I wasn't able to capture much of the space itself for photos but I can promise you it's a cute spot. We opted for outside table dining and it was lovely. To order you stand in line and then order at the counter, they'll bring the food back to your table, but they will call you up to grab your drinks. We ordered a couple of iced lattes and their famous Bella Rose - iced matcha, which was absolutely gorgeous and just as delicious. 10/10. Their drinks are truly little works of art and always worth ordering. To finish off brunch, we grabbed a couple of bagels. One of my favorites is their toasted bagel with tomato, avocado, and cream cheese, it's simple and so satisfying. Next time I'll be trying one of their fruit bowls. The staff here are absolute rockstars. They crank out drink after drink with a smile on their faces while keeping the atmosphere welcoming and fun. We always love stopping by, and if you haven't been yet, consider this your sign to check them out and support a fantastic local business.

What left me uncomfortable was the service. Throughout the meal, I felt singled out and dismissed in ways that were hard to ignore. Staff were outwardly polite and seemed to be making an effort to be friendly, but the interactions often felt forced and noticeably different from the way other customers were being treated. Requests seemed to be met with impatience, and I repeatedly got the sense that I wasn't being welcomed in the same way as others around me. One example was when we asked if a finished plate could be removed to make room for new dishes that had just arrived. The request was met with hesitation, and it felt as though taking the plate was an inconvenience. Later, when I asked for to-go containers, the employee handing them to me appeared visibly strained to be courteous. It was one of several interactions that left me feeling like basic requests were being tolerated rather than accommodated. I can't speak to anyone's intentions, but the overall experience left me feeling unwelcome despite the surface-level friendliness. I came away wondering whether bias played a role in how I was treated. What stood out most was the contrast between how we were treated and how some others were treated. From where we were seated, I observed other customers receiving noticeably warmer service, including more smiles, friendlier conversation, and a more welcoming attitude. My party did not experience that same level of warmth. The food itself was very good, but the service experience would make me hesitate to return.

My favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Ventura!…read more At this point, I think I've tried everything on the menu! I've even gotten to the point of creating my own little custom breakfast by combining different side dishes! All the fruit is fresh, the salads and sandwiches are big enough to share, and the coffee is good enough to get one to go for an afternoon pick me up (they close at 2pm). I love the high quality ingredients they use, from the eggs to the produce, nothing is industriel or pre-made. There is a parking lot in back, but during the weekday it's easy to park on the street.

This cafe is sooo beautiful- I truly feel like I'm somewhere in Europe in a large open patisserie…read more It is typically super crowded her, so if you can find seating, count yourself lucky. I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently. At Camarillo, the server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went.

She had the chicken salad. She said it was just chicken with mayo. The croissant was dry. The iced tea tasted like coffee unfortunately. The gentleman that delivered our food just plopped the plates down and walked away. No gluten free options only macaroons! First time at this location normally go to Camarillo and TO so I was expecting the same great food and service. There was a napkin on the ground directly under our table. The ledge by window was dirty! Just disappointing!

Due to that, we switched gears on what we ordered. Iced americano: phenomenal. Very smooth yet bold and refreshing Paneer dosa: a bit of a let down for me. I was not expecting it to be a plain dosa and chutney on the side. Masala dosa: this was better since it was filled with potato. Chicken sandwich: loved this, very juicy and balanced. Side of fries was excellent. The sandwich is small, just bigger than a slider. Finished in 4 bites. Fries with gunpowder: when we got this, it looks exactly like the regular fries. We figured they mustve forgot that we asked for gunpowder seasoning. We went back to ask for more seasoning, expecting them to just sprinkle it on. They were kind enough to remake it and bring it to us, which was very thoughtful. This time we could see the seasoning, but unfortunately they didn't taste any different. Don't get me wrong, the fries themselves were great- amazing crispy texture, but adding seasoning didn't do anything for them. Overall the hits were the Americano and Chicken Sandwich. Service here is fantastic, and the vibe is awesome as well. This is somewhere I'd stop for a small bite, but not the fill up.
