The lady have a pretty good run down of all the different sets of furniture. She even put together a couple of swatches for us Togo. I think it's important to buy from the store, or call back the associate that helped because as she mentioned, they wouldn't want to lose this physical location. I assume that is how they make their commissions/ sales goals.

This was, without question, one of the most disturbing and discriminatory shopping experiences I've…read moreever had. From the moment I entered the store on 8/3/26, one employee (a white woman with dark hair wearing a CB2 shirt) made me feel completely unwelcome. This lady was full of hate and straight up racist. I was simply shopping for the items I came to purchase and never said a single word to her. Yet throughout my visit, she repeatedly glared at me, rolled her eyes, turned her back every time I got near, and appeared to laugh with another employee while making negative facial expressions in my direction. I will never forget how they both look because the store is small and it was impossible not to notice the repeated behavior. At one point, she loudly said, "Ugh, I want to go home." And turned her back towards me again. I left feeling targeted because of my orientation. Whether CB2 intended it or not, that's how this employee made me and my family feel, and it completely ruined what should have been an ordinary shopping trip. What makes this even more upsetting is that this happened in Berkeley, a city that prides itself on diversity and inclusion. I am a fifth-generation Berkeley resident. I attended Berkeley schools, live here, work here, and have shopped on Fourth Street for years. Never in all my years have I experienced this level of hostility while simply shopping. I have never seen this employee before, and I sincerely hope no one else has to experience what I did. CB2 should take this complaint very seriously. No customer should walk into a store and leave feeling demeaned, unwelcome, or discriminated against because of who they are. I walked into CB2 expecting to shop. I walked out questioning how many other people this employee has made feel the same way. It was appalling, deeply upsetting, and one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had. I will not be returning until CB2 demonstrates that it genuinely takes customer discrimination and employee conduct seriously.

Really cool mix of edgy, organic, and stunning quality across the board. My partner and I have gotten permanent jewelry from them three times. One year & two years later our bracelets have held up so well, no breaks. Sienna, who does their permanent jewelry, is lovely and super attentive to detail. When we went in for our newest bracelets, they kindly cleaned our other ones, as the stones had gotten a little grubby in the past year. They have a wide ranging selection of chain styles and tons of beautiful charms to add on. We were also able to request a particular stone/setting in advance. All of the sales staff are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! We have shopped at their original Oakland location during busy hours when they have gracefully been juggling multiple customers and still made the point to check in with us. Their Berkeley space is super open with lots of room for browsing. We tried on a number of rings and they were so helpful in explaining different settings, stone cuts, etc. I wilk be shopping here for years to come!

She was so patient, knowledgable and invested (excited even!) about my project. She thought through a bunch of options with me and even had her design team mock up renderings so I could visualize the installed tile. There was a 6-8 week lead time on the tile but it was worth the wait. She also introduced me to the Fireclay installation team and they ended up doing the tile installation for our whole house (including rooms that did not utilize Fireclay brand tiles). The installation team was professional, thorough, communicative and friendly. They consulted me about every preference and option and didn't do anything without my enthusiastic approval. We used a lot of antique tiles and uneven natural stones and they installed it all with care and precision. They were truly some of my favorite subcontractors of our whole project! Our kids' bathroom still isn't done...still waiting on cabinetry and paint but the tile is perfect and I was excited to post this review. Will try to add pics later :)
