Supreme Pork Xiao Long Bao (8)

Reserved through Yelp but were seated later than our reservation time. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, though, which we appreciated. The food came out much faster than at Din Tai Fung. Even though the menu has fewer options, everything we ordered was great. The restaurant was pretty busy with both takeout and indoor seating. I'm rating it lower mainly because the reservation time didn't reflect the actual seating time.

Where have you been all my life?! One word... AMAZING! We stopped by here for a quick bite after grocery shopping and it did NOT disappoint. Sorry but DTF is extremely overrated and this place is way better. We had the regular pork KLB and the spicy pork XLB. Both were delicious and full of broth. My mom who is extremely picky loved all the dishes we ordered. A few other favorites was the Taiwanese beef roll, wonton soup, and spicy pork and shrimp dumplings. I really wish we had a place this good in San Diego. Service was good. We were seated quickly and food came out quick as well. It wasn't busy because we went during a weird hour between lunch and dinner which I loved because of the quick service. I'd definitely come back again!

I liked it. Was meeting up family and decided to try this place nearby. We got Pork Xiao Long Bao, Tan tan noodles, Wild mushroom fried rice and Braised pork belly. The soup in the Xlb was good. Noodles had great flavor. The fried rice was mild and enjoyable with no overpowering flavors. The pork belly was some of the better ones I have had compared to other places. Nothing too crazy here though. Service was fine for the most part and pleasant. Inside was very clean and modern. Private lot in front of store.

I was a bit alarmed after eating here to realize they only have an "okay" food heath rating. I did notice some dust on the decoration I was sitting under. Ambiance is very hip. It's bustling and pretty fancy, with gold silverware and cups and modern water pitchers. However, I was confused that then hot tea we ordered was served in paper cups. That seemed at odds with the rest of the decor. Food was good. Tan tan noodles were the standout, and mini buns are also good. Xiao long bao were fine but din tai Fung's are better. I noticed a lot of people getting non traditional drinks like frozen slushies etc. Rather than hot tea. Maybe I'll try that if I come back. Service was good. Our server, David was very friendly. We were seated right away and food came out pretty quickly.

Came on a friends recommendation. Glad we did. Really enjoyed the XLB options - not just pork or truffle here! Spice Szechuan were flavorful, great texture, and perfect amount of spice for eating many of them. Tan Tan Noodles were peanutty garlicky perfection. The decor here is wild. Felt like we were in 1990s Vegas. Prepare for that 10/10 will return.

I've only seen this in TV before by the likes of my hero Anthony Bourdain(I know he had issues). Soup in a dumpling. How do they pull that off? Delicately it turns out. The dough is thin yet elastic to hold that soup. Yes there is a burst of liquid if you just consume it outright. Thus most people will siphon the soup first - then eat the dumpling. Which BTW is intense with flavor. We had the xiao long bao shrimp/pork and Szechuan spicy. Be warned it is - spicy. We also had Taiwanese cabbage serve hot, a subtle taste. My wife ordered hot and sour soup that was better than average with the extra ingredients they had like chicken and angel hair carrots. So why 4 stars? First let me tell you the quality of everything was second to none. The texture of the dumplings was exquisite. BUT none of the dishes flavors blew me away. Maybe I need to come back and try their other dumplings.

Supreme dumpling is my go-to for soup dumplings and tan tan noodles! The vibes, ambiance, setup - immaculate! And our server Giovanni was so patient with us! I appreciate when my soup dumplings, where you bite into it, your mouth isn't greeted with scalding hot soup! I would describe the soup dumplings as well-rounded - meaty and soupy. With the tan tan noodles, I love the aldente noodles coated in nutty sesame noodles that is cut with refreshing julienned cucumbers! We ordered just enough for our party of 7! We left feeling full and satisfied! I will definitely be coming back!

Parking is plentiful and easy to find. The interior is quite upscaled and is decorated nicely. Wait time can get long but it's cool to see that they offer rewards for waiting. The incentives are nice but nothing head turning. Food was delicious. The sichuan xiao long bao had a really good kick. I also loved the chocolate xiao long bao. Overall Supreme Dumplings is a good dumpling place. The xiao long bao were very soupy and the atmosphere was great.

Finding this gem was a dream come true. I had a lot of favorites here, but one dish that stood out for me was not only the shrimp fried rice, but also the dumplings I mean dumplings upon dumplings upon dumplings. Service was great, no complaints there. Friendly and attentive staff, which is always something that you want. Everything was well priced, and the food was served at a great pace. Definitely family styles the way to go so if you're bringing someone just order a bunch of things together and share, that's always the way you want to go at a place like this and specifically at this place. The ambience was nice. Is that a very large space but it is large enough for a business lunch or a lunch or dinner date if you're bringing someone out to eat. There's a lot of places in the area that you can get dumplings, but mark this as a must see and must go to location. I can't wait to go back.

We arrived early for dinner. There was a problem with the door as it wouldn't close by itself behind you. People in the waiting area kept having to close it to keep the cold out. There was a short wait, about 15 minutes. Apparently, if you wait over an hour you get an order of XLB's on the house and something else if it's 90 minutes. I'm not sure if it's worth the wait... The decor is nice inside, but we did notice a few stains on the wall. The service is quite speedy as well. I see the tables getting bussed right away within seconds. We started with the Supreme pork XLB's and the mini pan fried dumplings and preferred the former. We also had the stir-fry seasonal greens with garlic and pork chop fried rice. The vegetables were good. I wished the pork chop was more crispy. I also found several small bone fragments, so eat carefully. Overall, I thought the food was good. Presentation could use some work though. For example, the mini dumplings and greens could've been arranged better.

With so many delicious, cheaper options for dumplings in the area with far better service, the high quality of the dumplings here alone is not enough for me to return. But if you have time to waste and want some uniquely flavourful dumplings, this restaurant hits the spot. My family was super excited to check out Supreme Dumplings after several recommendations from our friends and while the food was incredible, there were several major issues with the service we received that I wouldn't have expected from such a popular restaurant. We loved that Supreme Dumpling allowed us to make a reservation on Yelp which made checking in and getting seated seamless. The waiting room was super crowded when we arrived, so we were grateful that we got seated within a couple of minutes of arriving on time for our reservation. For drinks, my dad got a spicy marg that he loved and my sister thought her sunshine lemonade was refreshing. I wanted to order a hot green tea, but the waitress said they were out of tea and offered me plain hot water instead. My family adores dumplings and ordered a variety of different ones and some fried rice. We were surprised at how quickly our mini dumplings came out with much of the food arriving quickly after. For some reason though our shrimp fried rice never made it to the table. For context, our reservation was at 6:45p and it took us maybe ten minutes to order. By 7:40p we told our server we wanted the rice to go. They ended up taking it off our bill which I appreciated, but we were late to our 8:15p appointment because we ordered dessert. The dumplings though, were phenomenal. My family enjoyed the mini pan-fried dumplings so much we ordered a second round of them! The crust on the bottom added the perfect crunch and I loved the savoury flavours in the meat. I've also never had a soup dumpling with spicy soup inside it and was pleasantly surprised at the delicious heat in the Szechuan spicy xiao long bao. It ended up being a little too spicy for me, but the rest of my family enjoyed it immensely. My favourite dish was the shrimp and pork wontons, I loved how perfectly cooked the shrimp was; each bite was heaven. Our server was super kind and apologetic about our missing food, and we appreciated that she took several items off our receipt and gave us a coupon as an apology, but our bill was still over a hundred dollars and for that kind of price I would expect exceptional service and better kitchen management.

The xiao long bao were juicy and delicious, the pan-fried dumplings perfectly crispy, and the pork chop fried rice was so flavorful. Everything tasted great

Love the fried rice and the seasonal veggies. The porkchop fried rice was also good. The staff is so friendly and everyone kept asking if we were doing okay or if we needed anything. Definitely recommend for dimsum and fried rice alone.

I don't need a chef wildly experimenting with my siu mai, or dabbling with my baked hom bow. My analysis of Sun Sui Wah, very nice interior, ok service, solid food. Was it a few dollars more than similar fare in Seattle, yes. But I also didn't have to drive to Seattle, not to mention put up with the street spectacle that now exists in the International District. It gets 5 stars because it delivers as promised.

Service : nonexistent Food: 9/10…read morePrice: standard but not worth for the horrible service. We spent about $600 for a party of 9. Would rather go to Diamond Bay, Tasty Szechuan, Royal Kitchen, (can see why they're busy and packed on a holiday weekday night and Sun Sui Wah is not) Went here for dinner for my grandma's 89th birthday with a party of 9 at 7pm. We ordered dishes typical of a 10 course meal including crab, Peking duck, live fish, rice, noodles, veggies, seafood, etc. The food was really good and didn't take too long to come out. Everything tasted good and we were all enjoying the family meal together and that's why I am giving 1 star because we will not be coming back. The service was absolutely horrible; ruined our dinner and wasted an extra 1-1.5hr of everybody's time. There was only 2 other tables in the restaurant and the servers started having dinner together at a table instead of working. I would understand if we were high maintenance customers or were giving them attitude but we did not. My cousin and I have both been FOH and BOH staff so we try to be understanding and patient when it comes to service especially coming from a Chinese background too. However, we asked for water several times, they never refilled anyone's water or the tea even once at this point it was end of dinner and 5 out of the 6 of us had completely empty glasses for about 30 minutes. We finally got water when we signaled to the Busser and he went to tell the same server again. We finished eating and decided to pay first so my grandma wouldn't try to pay. We tipped 18% off the bill since we were a large party and I wasn't about to punish all the workers for some water but what happened after made everything much worse. We asked for togo boxes and the server lady just dropped them off stared at our table and left. I was already wondering why she was seeming to be upset but seems like we were interrupting their dinner because 3 or 4 chinese servers were eating together at the table at the front when my sister's boyfriend went to pay. (That's why we didnt have water) I don't mind the workers needing to eat because I have been in their shoes before but please provide some service if you still have customers inside the restaurant waving at you. We wanted to leave just as much as they probabaly wanted to close at 10 pm(it was around 830ish now) We noticed that the cake they had been holding for us in the fridge was just sitting at another table in the restaurant. They saw us go grab it ourselves. We packed all the leftovers and started putting our dirty dishes and stuff onto the table because the workers were doing nothing. They saw that we were done but didn't want to stop their 8:30pm dinner I guess. Finally we asked them to bring us plates and clear the table. I have never had to ask the Chinese servers at any restaurant to clear the table before dessert, normally they do it for you, especially after you just tipped them almost $100 lol. The Chinese servers sent the bus boy to clear our table and guess what returned to their dinner! We again asked them for plates for the cake. It took so long to the point my sister missed picking up her prescription at 9pm. Not sure if the dim sum service is better but I'm pretty sure those 5 star service reviews are from the chinese servers' friends and/or family. Or the servers are taught to do nothing besides get the order and drop it off. Unfortunaly we will not be spending money at this establishment again because of the service and will be telling our family and friends in Issaquah and Bellevue to choose better places for sit down family meals. Hope others enjoy their meals because the food is still good

ROYAL KITCHEN @ BELLEVUE (crossroads)…read more Parking is pretty tight here, especially on the weekends when it gets super busy. Luckily, we were able to find a spot right out front, so I'd recommend slowly circling around and keeping an eye out for people leaving. I found this spot through Yelp and had been really craving good Chinese food, so I was super excited to finally try it. My family and I came without a reservation and were seated immediately, even though the restaurant was very busy. This place is definitely known for larger parties, there were lots of families and extended families dining together, which really gave it a classic family-style vibe. You order a bunch of dishes and share a little bit of everything, which I love. The staff were really friendly and greeted us right away with complimentary tea. Fun fact: in the mornings, tea is sometimes an extra charge, but in the evening it's free. We ordered a few dishes, including the honey walnut shrimp (which is my go-to order at any Asian restaurant), salt and pepper squid, house special vermicelli noodles, and Chinese broccoli. The vermicelli was a clear noodle dish loaded with different proteins like BBQ pork, squid, and shrimp. Everything had great flavor, but my absolute favorite was definitely the honey walnut shrimp. It was perfectly crispy and delicious. My only complaint is the portion size for the price, it was about $21 for roughly 10 pieces of shrimp, which felt pretty expensive. Overall, the portions were on the smaller side for what you're paying. Toward the end of the meal, they treated us to a complimentary papaya soup, which was a light, fruit-based dessert soup and a really nice way to finish. Our total came out to about $80, so it's definitely on the pricier side for Chinese food. That said, the food was delicious, the service was great, and if you're in the Bellevue area, I'd still recommend stopping by.

CHECK your bill here!!!!!!!!…read more We took our daughters from out of town for Sunday dim sum. Longtime family tradition!! And while we have often gone to the CID In Seattle, for many years and almost exclusively in recent years we have gone here and the previous business at the same location. I highly recommend this place and in my opinion the staff is usually always fantastic and they bring the food fast!! Today the service and food was fantastic and ordered so much it almost didn't fit on a 4 top table. We love leftover dim sum! But at the end of the meal they brought me the completed card with a total at the bottom. Didn't look beyond the total before tip and just gave the nice (very young) hostess my card. A server brought back just the two credit card slips and the price was seemingly $20 more than what was presented to me on the service card!?? I politely asked to see the bill again and then a longhgggh wait...... Then a heavily altered card was brought back showing the new total. I was not happy suddenly and asked why it was altered from the first one etc and a big argument from the server began that I didn't proliferate but she kept on and on and could not explain why all the changes by pen and saying that she was honest etc. insisting we "do the math" over and over Now we may have ordered that much food, but I know for a fact that the bill was clean written without alterations and $20 less than the corrected one. But still she couldn't give me a valid explanation for the changes and new total. In my opinion the high school age hostess made a mistake adding up before presenting the total to me and someone else edited it before running my card. If they had just admitted that I would not have been so disappointed. I don't believe that the staff here are dishonest and understand about mistakes but they did not handle it very diplomatically and it was a scene I didn't want to make. But I know that this was not the total presented to me for payment! Take a pic of your service card before sending the credit card to be run!!! It absolutely ruined our family outing and everyone was quiet in the car ride home. Not cool!!

Located inside of the Marketplace at Factoria Mall, they amassed a reputation that they've held onto for the last decade plus. It's been both good and bad, which is why my rating, along with many other others have been somewhere down the middle. Some good things: * There is plenty of group friendly seating. One could have a large group without having to experience much of a wait, even on the weekends. * In addition there is plenty of parking. No one will ever have to deal with looking for places to park, since the mall has so many spots. * The portions are excellent. One has every right to be nervous about how much dim sum will be served given shrinkflation, but there should be no problem here. For example, one portion of shrimp dumplings will have 8 pieces and the price reflects this as well. The bad: * Prices are objectively terrible. And by terrible, I mean expensive. Usually, I'm not one to care if the portions make up for the price, but seeing as everything is $15-20 a pop, things can add up quickly. Even a single can of soda was $5. Yes, really. * I appreciate the staff speaks Cantonese, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Even when they're not busy, they're not always the easiest to get a hold of and don't necessarily make attendance a priority. * What's worse than subpar tasting food? Having a lot of it. Mediocre execution for various popular dishes meant that food was going to be wasted. This is already a big no no with Asian culture, but the price being factored into it meant folks got hosed twice. At the end of the day, I think there's a lot of potential. It's just that much of it was wasted and I do not rule out a return, but I am not likely to come back anytime soon.

BUYER BEWARE! The first time we went to Dim Sum Factory, two…read moreweeks ago, we ordered several dishes, including Szechuan Fried Noodles, which was very good; A large order of long thick firm noodles, lots of delicious, tender, large pieces of chicken. So tonight we decided to order the Szechuan Fried Noodles to go. From the start it was a disaster! The person taking the order was disappointed when my wife just ordered one dish and pushed her to order more dishes. She refused. We only wanted the one. Then he tried to push her to pay cash instead of using her card. We arrived to pick up the order and he said, "You are very lucky. Tonight our best chef was here to cook your order!" LIAR We got home and all we had received was a pile of little broken, mushy, greasy, pieces of noodles mostly 1/2 to 1 inch long, 2 or 3 noodles perhaps 4 or 5 inches long, and 4 small pieces of chicken each approximately 1/2 inch across. And then looking closely we noticed bits of food that didn't belong there, peas and other bits and pieces we couldn't even recognize. My wife wouldn't eat it. And I unfortunately did have a plate. 20 minutes later I was very ill! We were abused, lied to, cheated, and served contaminated 'food'. I was going to give this 'restaurant' 2 stars because the first time we ordered the dish it was good. But this was SLOP! And after getting horribly sick because of it, I am giving it one star with good justification. AND I am filing a complaint with the health department. BEWARE. BEWARE!

Also ordered the sweet & sour chicken with fried rice and it was legit delicious. No complaints, just solid comfort food done right. Service was great -- shoutout to Kacey for taking care of us (and hooking it up with to-go cups for our sodas, which was a nice touch). The vibe was chill too -- clean space, relaxing piano music in the background, nothing chaotic. Even the fortune cookie was good, which honestly feels rare these days. The guy next to us ordered the garlic lobster and I'm still thinking about it... looked . Just don't order the coleslaw, its not your traditional coleslaw but instead lettuce with creamy sauce. We drove 35 minutes on a Saturday afternoon to get here and yeah -- I'd do it again.

I think we were the only customers there. We ordered a seafood boil, salt and pepper frog legs and a lunch combo of chow mein and beef. The portion of these are really good for the price. The seafood boil was plump and juicy. I did wish it was more flavorful though. The frog legs was really good though. Love how it was juicy and the texture. The chowmein had a really good wok flavor! Service is good too. Overall definitely will be back again, hopefully they get more business!

Just visited for a quick meal on Friday night with 2 other girlfriends. It was my first time and…read morethere was some hits and misses. Service: Kind server, was a little surprised that none of the staff there was of Asian descent which threw me off a bit TBH. As a restaurant that touts itself as the "best Chinese food in Bellevue" I would've expected some more Asian representation throughout. Food: Started with shrimp dumping dim sum. Good quality but not sure 4 small dumplings are worth $12? The main star of dinner was the Beef Short Rib. It is presented in a sizzling cast iron pot with the entire bone sticking out. It was tender and caramelized from the heat of the bowl, really good. It does feel like the $48 price point could have necessitated cut carrots vs. packaged baby carrots but the dish overall was yummy. Crispy Pork Belly was just fried pieces of pork belly without much flavor and very fatty. Garlic Green Beans were standard and good. Singapore Noodles had good flavor but something was off - not sure if the rice noodle texture was overcooked or the curry hit needed to be punched up. Atmosphere: Gorgeous decor and the restaurant is huge - it started to fill up as the night went on. Overall it was just fine. I've had way better Chinese food in Bellevue and with Dough Zone across the street and Monsoon next door (not Chinese food but in the Asian family), I'd probably go with other options on Main Street.
