This place just opened in Tracy and isn't even completely finished. They have a lube station and a food mart, but the food mart has not opened yet. They advertise a 10 minute oil change. I went here on a Saturday morning around 10 and didn't have to wait in line. I pulled up and they got to work. I literally was only there for 10 minutes. I got out of the car, but a lot of other people just sat in their cars while they had the oil changed. When I went back to my car the mechanic informed me that my check engine light was on, which I've been avoiding getting checked out due to $$. I told him I knew that it had been on and he said he'd check it out at no additional charge. He hooked up my car to the computer and told me it was just a simple fix. What would have cost me at least $80 at a dealership was absolutely free! My total came out to only $26.00 and I was in and out with 15 minutes. I typically get my oil changed at the Chevy dealership and end up waiting for hours and paying at least $35 each time. I've tried WalMart's lube station as well, but find myself waiting for a long time. WalMart also forgets to reset the oil sensor in my car and my oil light always comes on after I leave there. I will be using this place for every oil change! I sent my boyfriend here and he had the same experience. They have two lifetime customers. read more

I go to this place for convenience, and although they aren't pushy...this last time on Saturday (11/19) they stated all of my fluids were fine, except they NEVER checked them...I know I always watch them. So how can you say something is fine, if you don't take a look. They use to look at all of the fluids and check my air filter. They haven't bothered to check my air filter the last three times and this time didn't even bother checking any of the other fluids. If I had rated them before - been a regular since they opened - I would give them a 4 or 5 star. they have dropped to a two star in my book, because as a consumer you look to see what they did and how things fared. I am not a fan of SpeedDee either but at least I would like to know the things are checked and have the option of saying yes or no. I don't believe in the hard sell, but I have a regular mechanic that I can have specific things worked on. read more

I take my Prius here every 5 weeks (I work in Santa Clara) quick oil change and simple inspection. They caught the start of a power steering fluid leak, I knew of this for a while but dealer wanted to replace the pump. SuperLube replaced the hose and it has been 6 months and still no more leak. Really happy with the services that have been performed on my cars here. I bring my cars here for oil changes regularly. An oil change here is about $30 for a car that uses 5-6 quarts of conventional oil. Some of my cars use synthetic oil and that runs $80-$90 which is a little pricey, but their thorough inspection of the car, topping off all fluids and replacing filters (cabin air and intake air) and getting it done in about 10 minutes makes it worth it. read more

Checked this place because its around the corner from my house but I was very impressed with the speed and detail put into my oil change when I took in my car. They even spotted a leak in one of my hoses and told me where I could probably get it. When Walmart suddenly decided that they could no longer perform a basic, routine oil change on my car because THEY put an aftermarket plug on there, I struggled to find a place that would. Enter SuperLube Plus. Not only did they perform the oil change with no problem, but they let me know that the plug was not fitting as correctly as it should have been and we might want to replace the pan soon. When we finally brought my car in to get the oil pan replaced, we brought in an aftermarket one that we had purchased. They inspected the part with us and were hesitant to use it due to the finish on the oil pan, but they had a solution that would work if the car could stay a little longer than originally thought. No problem. Later that day, we got a call that they were able to keep my existing oil pan by making the plug hole a little larger to fit the next size plug. The oil pan itself is still in good shape and we were able to return the one we had purchased. Not only did we get that money back, but their solution saved us about $300 in labor. They could have replaced the pan and charged us the $350+ easily, but they found a solution that wound up costing a little more than the price of an oil change. They're fast talking guys with a drive-thru oil change place, but they've got a good eye out for their customers, too - even if it costs them at the end of the day. Saving us money means we'll be back again and again. read more

I've been going here for years. It's affordable, although not the cheapest in Tracy- what brings me back is that it's really fast, and I don't have to spend an hour waiting for an oil change. We have taken all of our cars here for years. Today one of the mechanics, I believe he is one of the owners, became angry when I didn't want to pull my car in. I was waiting to ask if they could preform a certain service. As he walked up to my car he looked very angry and called me an f word bitch. When he got to the window I confronted him and told him I wouldn't be staying. He didn't apologize or even try to explain his way out of it. This is completely unacceptable. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! unless you want a blown out engine. Took my car in this shop to get my coolant leak checked out. One of their employees there gave me a call stating my Thermostat was leaking coolant and I needed to change that prior to him running the pressure test to see if coolant was leaking from anywhere else. Gave him the OK to repair Thermostat which costed $295 and then he calls me back stating he found a slight leak in my water pump and he was going to charge me $240 for repair. I specifically told him I commute and asked if it would be ok to drive since he said it was SLIGHTLY leaking and he stated I would be fine for a while since it was just a small leak. Next day I go to work in Pleasanton I heard a squeaking noise while driving on the freeway and as I pull into the parking lot of my job I see my engine smoking badly. I quickly pull into a parking space and pop my hood opened I see coolant all over my engine and smoking like crazy. I call the shop and let him know my car is still leaking coolant way more than it was before and my engine was now smoking he stated " That's normal because your engine is getting hot while you drive so more coolant will be leaking out and since its burning coolant it will smoke" didn't sound right to me.. I never heard this noise or had my engine smoking prior to coming here. That same day on my way home i'm driving back on the freeway I see my check engine light go on as i'm pulling of on the nearest exit my car just shuts off and completely dies. So much smoke had been coming out of my engine and my car wouldn't start anymore I had to get a tow home. Few days later I tow the car to get another mechanic shop to check out the car come to find out they said I have a blown head gasket and said whoever had looked at it before should not have let me leave the shop with my car like this. I will be suing this shop now because i'm out of a car and money. read more

Was in a bind on a Sunday. I noticed a small leak under my 2006 Suburban and when I looked, I saw that it was coming from my oil filter. I called Walmart at noon and they said they weren't taking any more customers for the day. Sears said the wait would likely be 2-3 hours. So I checked Yelp and found SuperLube. I called them up, asked about their wait and they said it was going to be about 15 minutes. They weren't lying. I took my Suburban in and they had it in the bay in less than 10 minutes. They checked all my fluids, filled up what was low, put air in my tires and had the oil changes in less than 15 minutes. This was way more than I could have asked for. If there was any downside to SuperLube - and this really isn't a downside - is that they are marginally more expensive than some of the other outfits in town. But only marginally. Overall, I would definitely head back here for another oil change. read more

I pulled in, and 3 guys descended upon my car and changed the oil and topped off the fluids They showed me my oil level, oill filter, before and after. Reasonable price for synthetic. read more

Owner is extremely rude. I have had my oil changed there several times with several different cars over the years. The last time he changed the oil in this van i was missing a screw either he didn't replace a screw or didn't tighten it well enough. This time he explained to me that my 1995 VW van was difficult because I guess it has a metal pan .. he decided to charge me a additional $45 for 15 min of labor for a total of $145 for a oil change !!! Wow ... but ok I paid because the work was already done .. I asked him was he sure that all the screws are in and tight ... he then started saying how he did me a favor taking me in 15 min before he closed ( the little guy had the nerve to have his itty bitty voice raised ) saying " what do you want me to do take a picture??!!" ... I replied " look man I just want to know if all the screws are in the pan " .... Seems like a valid question since I just paid him $145 and he had left a screw out in the past ... he told me never to bring my business to him anymore... and I won't.. It's hard finding good customer service these days.. I would suggest you find another place to have your oil changed. read more

Worst place ever to take your car. I beg who ever is reading my review please do not take your car here if you value your car. I almost blew my engine because of them changing my oil. Before I took my car in it ran perfect and my car is only 4 years old. After the oil was change they somehow manage to tell me my car had a oil leak out of no where. They didn't know where the leak was coming from but said they would pay for the part if I paid for the labor. Why would they offer to pay for the part? They said it would be a small fix for $135. I asked them what's the problem and why is my car leaking all of a sudden. During this time they weren't speaking English around me and the manager kept talking to his employees in his language. I couldn't understand him and I could tell he knew one of his guys messed up. I had to take my car in to the dealership and they said when the oil was changed the guy stripped the bolt to the pan causing my engine to over heat and my oil to leak. This place is really corrupt and they know it. Again please take my story serious because I know what it's like to be taken advantage of and not being able to go back and prove to them they were at fault. read more

Please update your hours posted on websites such as yelp, Facebook, etc. Its truly a pain to work "must do's" into your schedule and not be able to accomplish all tasks because of pure negligence (not on your part) Yelp clearly states that you are OPEN today, which happens to be a Sunday-- until 4pm; I arrive at 3pm only to find the place deserted-- REALLY!! This use to be a good place to go get an oil change on my BMW. But now that they have new owners or just new people working there they really don't have a clue what they're doing. I simply went in for an oil change and as soon as they were done they tried sending me on my way. At that moment I knew I was screwed, my BMW has a displayed oil gage in the dash and I asked them to re-set the gate using their electronic device as I've seen done plenty of times. After 5 minutes of trying how to figure out on resetting my oil gage, they told me to go back the following day because nobody there knew how to work the device and they my sensor may be broken. I explain to the guy that there's nothing wrong with my sensor he simply just didn't know what he was doing. After arguing with the man for more than 5 minutes in front of customers I decided to just leave, and I'll never go back! read more

Took my BMW in this past Saturday for an oil and filter change. On Monday morning I noticed a pool of oil on my garage floor. I immediately went back to SuperLube and told them about the problem. On inspection they discovered the threads on my oil pan plug had been stripped. They installed a new plug and topped of my oil at no charge. I give them high marks for owning up to the problem and fixing it. Unusual these days for a service company to take responsibility. read more
