My front end of my truck was all messed up, control arms, bushing and a broken bracket on my lift kit. Paid for tire mounting and balancing. The balance was off. I came back to get it redone. It didn't fix the issue. The car was still vibrating at freeway speeds. I called again to have it redone but they never called back to rebook. I had to get it done by a competitor, which got it right the first time. The rear tires were off by 3 and 1 ounces, which was huge. Not sure how they missed that. Only 1 wheel was balanced right. The other front had to be redone as well. They have yet to return my calls or provided any recourse for providing only half the service I paid for. read more

Beware of Firestone Tire and Barke located at 2800 Auto Plaza in Tracy because they do HORRIBLE car repairs work! Also, this location is NOT backed by Firestone. Strangely, this location can accept Firestone credit card, but Firestone WILL NOT give you a warranty for any type of service work performed on your car from this location! The work they performed on my car made my car worse, so I have to take it to another shop to get repaired. read more

Since 2007, I always been shopping and using this place as a primary store for my tires needs. Both my wife and I are computers and we are constantly on the Road. As continued customer spend lots money and bought services like alignment and recommend tires for my four cars. As it turned out, recently my wife car got a flat tire. I send her to this place to fix the flat. As it turned this place charged her FULL price of $120 for fixing a flat tire and claiming the flat tire was not fixable. As shown from picture send by my wife the tire was worn from inside and the manager charged her anyway. She paid the money and I expressed to the manager my frustration and told him that would be my last visit to his shop and simply expressed that he does not care! My advice when buying anything from this place be careful they would give thousand excuses to shift the guilt blame on you and try to con you to buy more items and not claim any responsibility! Do not deal with these guys - they are Crooks! Take your business to a more reputable establishment, since the customer or customer service does mean anything to them. read more

Awful, unprofessional experience. When calling a few days prior, an 8am appointment was offered to me. When I accepted that time I got "oh wow okay 8am". Day of my appointment-- I arrive promptly and on time AT 8 am. Doors locked, lights off, no one to be found. 15 min later, what looked to be the manager to be came running to the door with keys (obviously late to work) okay. Whatever things happen..... well 1:30pm rolls around and I'm thinking... geez it's been a while for a simple oil change and tire rotation especially because I was told the car will be ready by 10:30. Call them and get "oh yea it's been ready for a while" A WHILE?!?! Then tells me there is nail in my tire that needs to be patched. I said okay well then, yes, please patch it. He responded with "okay what time are you thinking of coming to get the car" IM THINKING NOW SIR! I WOULDNT HAVE MADE THE 8AM appointment if I didn't have things in the day to do!!! He says "okay let's go with 3pm" I show up at 3pm... 1 of 3 associates have a mask on. INCLUDING the manager that was late in the morning. very upset. Will never return or recommend. read more

Where has all the customer service gone now a days??? When I walk into a place of business I expect to be greeted. So I walk into this repair shop which had a relatively nice and clean waiting area. I see that there are a few people in there waiting and some being helped. It looked like that there were 2 service writer stations which 2 employees were behind helping customers. They look at me and we make eye contact...I stand there and wait for a bit...technicians are walking in and out while the service writers are doing something with their customers that were in front of them. They weren't having a conversation it was just silent in there with the TV on in the background. I'm still standing there...like I said we've already made eye contact. Still no greeting...I'm out of there. GREET YOUR CUSTOMERS. (service 101) You're not doing me a favor by working on my vehicle. There are a lot of other choices. I'll go somewhere else. I have no confidence that I would be taken care of. I gave 1 extra star because the place is nice and new. read more

Nick and Peter were really helpful, came in for my Honda and they are very knowledgeable. I came for my car battery every other place I got a quote for it was too much, they gave me a really good quote on a interstate 5 year warranty battery. Also I asked them for synthetic oil change for my car and man I been going to the wrong places. They will give you a coupon for synthetic oil and I will be paying alot less. I purchased their lifetime wheel alignment plan about two years ago because I was initially told that it will be valid at any firestone location. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I was not informed that this firestone station is independently run and is completely different from "other" Firestones you see in almost every city. The lifetime deal is good, but if you are not local and move around a lot, it is not worth it. Fortunately, I still live in Tracy and I am able to get my wheels aligned at least once a year from them but at that time I was in college and in a different region and I had to come back to Tracy to get it done which was NOT convenient at all. Anyways, other than the dishonesty and unclear policies, their service is okay/good as I also have gotten my tires changed and oil change from them which is why they are getting 3 stars. Tip: before buying any type of plan from them, make sure you get all the info and proof and not just be blinded by what the rep says because it may or may not be true. read more

My son was helping a buddy out and ended up stranded on the highway. I called here and talked to Daniel about it. Daniel was very empathetic and did everything he could to get us through this with a great price on a set of 4 new tires for my son. I'm in L.A. and my son needed to get back to AZ. I had purchased fuzion tires from them for $450 and at the time of purchase they told that tires had come with default warranty of some thousand miles. I drove for less than 20000 miles and it's not even a year all of sudden one of tire was blew out and not able to fix it further. Then I called these guys and they said it's not covered with warranty and I should have purchased road hazard which will cover those tires. It puts me in a question that they're selling quality less tires? Even I put that much money. read more

I was ripped off for a flat repair. Was told there was sidewall damage where none existed. Since i was 70 miles from home I had to buy a new tire to get home. I filed a complaint with the B.A.R. and talked to Scott Treadway. He notified the owner who called me and accused me of lying. All I wanted was an apology, but Nick Harris lacks simple customer service skills and got defensive instead. Now , instead of dropping my complaint,I'm going to escalated it by posting reviews all over social media and notifying Firestone Corporate about their agent and their service. When inquiring about the lifetime wheel alignment plan, initially I was told that it would be valid at any Firestone but the rep took it upon himself to call and make sure then honestly told me that purchasing it at this Firestone would mean I could only get my alignments done for free at this same location. Instead of being prideful the rep, Joe, admitted that he was wrong which allowed me to make the decision with all of the correct information. Very disappointed to have my car STAINED with grease for the SECOND time in a row! The first time was going to be the last time i ever came back here but they were very apologetic and offered me a free oil change so I came back and I alerted them please be careful last time we had an issue. Picked up my car and there was some noticable dirt on the seat I pulled up to have them clean it and the manager was pretty much saying that he doesnt know how that could have happened and that the stain looked like it had been there for awhile! Seriously?! I think not! He said we already gave you a free oil change last time....ummm what is that supposed to mean exactly? That I should be grateful that you ruined my car so i can get a cheap oil change? This is no way to act when you have damaged someones property and the fabric on my door is balled up from all the rubbing that was needed to clean it the last time! There has been some issues in the past with my car dripping oil in my garage and i had to bring it back to have it cleaned up so i would have to remind them whenever I brought that car in for service. We also had our timing belt and heads done and the car now sounds like a race car and is about to explode but it runs. Honestly this place was convenient and close by but I will take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I contacted Nick at Firestone and was treated like he didn't know me or my very well maintained vehicle. Extremely disappointed by his response or lack their of, that he has forced me to take legal action to recover losses incurred by an oil change gone bad and ruining my engine that was immaculate prior to this incident. I moved to Mountain House and needed to find a new Mechanic and Tire Place and also do my Oil change, maintenance etc..... First time I went in, I meet the Manager/Co-owner (Nick) who is the one of the coolest and Honest business owners I know. We get our Alignment, Oil Change, new Tires, for a really reasonable and have everything done correctly in a timely manner. Highly recommended. I love this place. As a single woman I tend to get anxious taking my car to shops. Not here. They read my check engine codes without charging me, they are honest about the life of my tires. I've never had someone tell me I still have a good month or two on my tires based on my driving. When they say I need something done, I know its true. They are good about helping me prioritize work with my budget and not pile on stuff that isn't necessary. I wouldn't go anywhere else unless it was out of their realm of what they are able to do. Called up and asked about a tune-up and my brakes needing help. Talked to David told me I can bring in the scion Xb. I made it right on time for my appointment. David wanted to do the inspections first and I was fine with that. The results were, I needed a new air cleaner mine was dirty dirty dirty it was a bad boy. So then I did need new brakes in front not rotors they were able to resurface those so Im pretty happy then I choose to do the tune-up my plugs were original to the car. They rotated my tires no charge and also did a flush on my brake lines. I'm very happy with the service that I received and I will recommend to friends to use Firestone by the Tracy DMV . David really took his time and answered all of my questions I will be bringing our other vehicles here for service work but also for there great deals on oil changes. The store is very clean and even has a tv to help kill the time if you wait like I did. So I was in and out in 31/2 hours total for all the work and that includes the 30 minutes to do the inspection on my car. Oh and it ran great the brakes stopped my car much better than before. Nick refused to give us any details about what they found on inspection, obviously caring more about their relationship with the Tracy Ford dealership than about the safety of the vehicle we have purchased for our daughter. First want say thanks to Daniel always work with my schedule for service for my work van . I decided to write negative reviews this firestone because u guys didn't responsible with your workmanship . I took my van for brakes and tires service several months ago , brakes job very bad , every time I back up and stepped on brakes sweak badly and now when driving stepped grind bad ABS light on not sure why . I took my van back for them to check and replaced 2 more tires . they claimed nothing wrong after driving test . the moment I pull off their parking my brakes still grind and back up step on brake still sweaking and this rear brake job Fleet paid Firestone 1k . I'm not brakes expert but I replace alot brakes on my own vehicles never sweak. I know it's a fleet vehicle but please treat this vehicle as regular customer vehicles . Firestone in tracy should be brakes expert shop not excuses shop . I used to deal with firestone in Hayward never have problems. I will not do business with this firestone in the future. read more

I dropped off my car for an oil change since they had a good price advertised. An hour later they called me and said my belts need to be replaced even though I said I replaced my belts 6 months ago. I told them not to change my belts. A half an hour later I received another call, they said that I need to replace my engine mount. I got suspicious and told them to only do an oil change and nothing else. They brought me into their shop with a cheap oil change coupon and they tried to sell things that I did not need. I picked up my car that day and took it to another mechanic shop. They checked and told me that my belts are in good shape and there is nothing wrong with my engine mount. Firestone was dishonest and a rip off. I will never go there again. read more
