Horrible service! We scheduled an appointment (in advance) for a catalytic check. A employee called us back the same day to confirm the appointment and the service needed. When we arrived at our appointment, the employee turned us away saying they don't service catalytic. No apologies, accountability or any remorse for this mistake, just no, we cannot help you. I understand that can affect efficiency, but the receptionist was sitting down doom scrolling on her phone and vaping instead of contacting customers who had appointments to let them know about the issue. There's always something with this location. I ended up going to Firestone instead, where I received a discounted oil change and a complementary detailed inspection included. Went here to get my front brakes done made an appointment was there a little early. Ended up paying over $600 for just my front brakes which I should have researched cause I'm currently getting the back brakes done at brake masters highly recommend. They are almost $120 cheaper and the service is fantastic. Back to my review I was quoted 45 minutes so I walked to shop timed 45 minutes and walked back my car was still up on the lift. So I sit inside I'm in there for maybe 15 minutes no one touches my car. Then an employee walks back in to take my tire off and leaves the drill or whatever on the bolt just sitting there and walks off on his personal cell phone. Another 15 minutes goes by and still nothing, finally he comes back and finishes. I felt like this was a huge waste of time I got there at 9:30 and didn't leave till 11:45. Don't quote someone 45 minutes and then make them wait over two hours. Overall the service Was horrible the staff acted like they didn't even wanna be there. If you want the Midas "touch"? And be carelessly touched, then come here. Came in for a brake change on a f250 and basically almost took a week and half to finish. After they did the brake change they broke a sensor, and told me i had to pay for it! But they would pay the labor. I didn't want to argue mistakes happen. They said three days it would be in, but everything was fine even though i had like five sensors going off in the truck. So three days later and still no part. So wait another three days because of shipping or whatever their excuse was. So go in again they fix the broken part. Everything is good. For now. Later on in the evening I notice my front hub cap was now missing on the exact tire they were working on. Next day I go in and the manager that I have been talking to the whole time is not in. So I deal with another manger, that says she asked the mechanics and they said now I came in with it not in. So she says she will check the tape and get back to me. WATCH OUT FOR SCAM Came here after getting my car read at O'Reilly auto parts, they told me I was having misfire problems. Told them the problem, they read my car and told me it was transmission problems and that it would be a $3600 fix. Got another quote from a transmission shop, they told me what O'Reilly had told me, misfire problems. Took it to a shop in Modesto and $300 later the problem was fixed. It's crazy cause from the lady behind the computer to the owner all agreed that I should get it fix, I don't know if y'all knew what you were talking about or thought of me as an easy mark to scam but y'all should've been honest from the jump. Worst experience ever!!! Brought my car in after seeing some what of good reviews on Yelp about this place, my car had a check engine light on and I had dealer warranty on the vehicle, my vehicle was kept in this place for over 2 weeks without any improvement being done to it, it was a constant battle trying to get my vehicle repaired, because this place would say my warranty company would not issue the authorization for the work it needed performed, but funny enough I've never had this issue with other repair shops I have taken it. When my vehicle was ready to take home I asked for documentation and they failed to provide any, stating they had to look through their boxes of records because they have " soooo many vehicle services". What repair shop does work to your vehicle and not provide paperwork?!?? WOW!!! After I finally got my vehicle back and some attitude from the employees, I came back home only to find my vehicle had a oil leak now!! Something my vehicle never had before, i immediately contacted them and let them know my vehicle did not have this issue prior to them performing work on it, they advised me to bring it in and they would check it out, they said they would order a new oil tray for me because there was a hole on the oil tray (for some odd reason, even though there wasn't one before) free of charge, they installed it, but my vehicle kept leaking oil. Four months later, im driving on the freeway and the check engine light came back on, mind you, this was still under the Midas 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty, i immediately contacted this location and informed them of the issue and I stated I would take my vehicle to a dealership repair shop to get a diagnosis because I did not trust them anymore, and their response was "IF SOMEONE ELSE TOUCHES YOUR CAR, YOUR ENGINE WARRANTY WILL BE VOIDED" i asked why, if I was only going to get a diagnosis not any work performed, and their answer was, " YOU KNOW WHAT?! IS THE NEW YEAR DO WHATEVER YOU WANT" and hung up the phone. Very unprofessional, disgusting customer service, i ended up taking my vehicle to another repair shop and paying out of pocket to get my issue fixed just so I could avoid these unprofessional people. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. This Midas deserves zero stars if possible. When you try to set up an appointment online they will not get back to you within the 30 minutes that is promised online to give you an actual appointment time. Since I was not given an actual appointment time to come in, I showed up as soon as they opened which was 8 AM, but showing up that early doesn't help because none of the staff are actually on time. Once they do show up they will not take care of the cars in the order that they arrived in the parking lot since they do not use their computer system for appointments, or take into account who was in the parking lot already, instead they will work on the cars in a random order. Once the manager Ashley decided to unlock the doors she did not want anyone sitting in the waiting area, until some of her staff showed up which leaves you sitting in your car until they get there. On top of this, her staff consists of techs who barely know what they are doing and one mechanic who happens to be off on Wednesdays and Saturdays. When it does come time to work on your car, the staff here would rather sit around and eat whatever they ordered from food delivery services than actually service your car. The sign on the desk that states "Manager of looking busy" is truly how they operate. If you happen to bring your car here and it needs parts, that is a battle in and of itself as well. As I mentioned before, I showed up at 8 AM thinking that would allow me to have my car worked on right away, but once they do decide to pull your car into a service bay to see what's going on, and you happen to need a part that they do not have readily available you'll be forced to come back at a later time in the day. Once it was determined that a part needed to be ordered for my car I was told to come back in at 1 PM, so I went home and came back to Midas at the time they had told me but even then my car did not get fixed, because they decided to tell me that I needed an additional part. This lead to the nightmare of having to go back to Midas multiple times being that the mechanic only works four out of the six days that they are open. Do not even think about letting it be known to Ashley how frustrated you are with the situation, because rather than her being understanding, she'll just give you attitude and blame you for being "well aware" that her mechanic is not in on Wednesdays and Saturdays. read more

Don't do it. I have had nothing but issues with this place. 6 months ago they replaced my brakes and rotors and I purchased the warranty as I was told that was the only way they would do my brakes. Everyone has to get the warranty. I brought my vehicle in today and after 5 hours of waiting the tech calls to say he can't replicate the noises I reported. I let him know that for multiple days while pulling out of the driveway when I applied the brakes they are screeching loudly but I'm happy to come in and help him replicate the noise. He says he will call me back and in less than 30 minutes says yes I hear it now, but your brake pads are in perfectly good condition. However we will replace them with upgraded pads as long you pay the labor cost. My response was if they are perfectly good why replace them? He says well so they don't make the noise. I asked to please put it back together I'll come get it. Well talk to my manager, that was pointless ~ sheesh this woman needs to understand what customer service is. How she is employed still by Midas I have no idea. She is condescending & rude as hell. There is zero reason I should be out of pocket when just 6.5 months ago I paid 1200.00 for brakes. Needed a quick oil change so I called up a few places where I can take my car in but this store is willing to take me in as a walk in, and I was about to give this place 5 stars, but only to find out they won't do the complimentary tire rotation as oppose to most Midas stores I've been to. The lady store manager told me each Midas operates differently and she's charging me an extra $30 for the tire rotation. I left the place feeling I was robbed and dissatisfied.
