Went to this location as I was traveling to get my tires checked before going back on the road. Yelp says that they open at 7:30am and their website says that they orient at 7:30am but all their doors are locked at 7:45am. I tried calling their phone and no one is answering. Maybe they had a company day off of some sort but definitely not mentioned on their door. This is too bad cause I love Tire Choice Auto Service center back at home. I hope they fix this in the future Update: they opened at 8am. I was parked at their parking lot when the person who had the key arrived. He came to my side of the car and said hello. Coming in I loved seeing how they arranged the tires as their decor. They offer free wi-fi and password is displayed where everyone can see it. Person in the front was the same person who greeted me in the parking lot. He had the biggest smile and this is what changed my mind about this business. I told him what I needed and he instructed me to wait in my car until the garage door opens and I can just drive to it. I waited in my car and waited for them to finish setting up. Don't go to tire choice in Tracy. They suck. Greg is very rude and disrespectful to customers. They just want the money. So I called and scheduled an appt for a vehicle, took it in @ 7:30am. Talked to Greg. Told him brakes are squeaking and AC control knob is not working properly. He took it in. Was promised same day service. That was Thursday. Got my vehicle on Saturday. Brakes were all done but he decided to recharge the AC after u had told him speed 1,2,3 don't turn on, 4 goes on high. He still decided to recharge the AC. After I tried the AC still have the same problem control knob still doesnt work. Went back inside to talk to him and he just started to raise his voice and start yelling at me . I work for a company that has a lot of vehicles. He just lost a big customer. I would not recommend this place at all. They suck. They charged over $1800 and the AC is still not working properly. i took my suv in for service, the motor mount one bolt had broke off so i had them fix it that was almost a year ago. so about a month ago i started to feel the shaking again so i took it back in to see if the bolt had come out or something and sure nuff it came out again... now they want to tell me that the part is under warenty but labor is not covered to fix it again (the same bolt) it was one month over the exasperation date they could have fixed it for me mo charge. they lost my business and i only went to them and paid lots but no moer!!!!that i would have to pay for labor again!!!!! in the last year i have paid them over $3,ooo on fixing my suv.. i have always went to them but at this point i will not go back to them being a female i feel like they are just telling me shit because i am a woman. i fell as tho i should not have to pay again for them to fix a part that they put in and it broke off... i think i may have to contact the better business bureau. just for this service i have paid them $1,249.34!! i've had brakes done, struts put on, tune up, cant tell you how may oil changes i have had with them. they need to make this right!!! very unhappy customer- sandra read more

Purchased my set of tires here and with that you get free tire rotation for as long as you still have the same set of tires. Set up an appointment to get our tire rotated to get ready for our long drive. Came in a bit earlier than scheduled, but we were taken in right away. Now, the man who helped us was very friendly, but, during that time that this pandemic is still ongoing. This man wasn't wearing any mask while helping us with our services. This didn't bother me, but my little one pointed it out and was vocal about it. Other than that, so far the service I get from this place is really pleasing and friendly. When we returned to the location the front desk employee was extremely rude and unhelpful. He even began to raise his voice in a very unprofessional manner. I drove a half hour to my appointment and when I got there the bum behind the counter tells me he's short staffed and he can't do it. For work that was done, I have no complaints . However looking over the bill, I see a lot of hidden charges that are not even part of the scope of work that was necessary. I came back because after my alignment and balance appointment, I felt the wheels shaking and the steering wheel shaking somewhat too. GREG, I let him know the issue (that was alignment/balance and shaking).He said that the alignment or balance could not be the issue of my shacking. So left disappointed because I felt he didn't want to help me, he didn't bother to stop me as I was leaving. So I got it done some where else and they said the tires were never balanced. On a positive note the technician rotated my tires as requested. Aside from that the experience was lackluster. The female at the front desk Monica (who said she was from a different store) had no sense of urgency or enthusiasm. Her business sense was entirely lacking. Unfortunately, the manager Greg acted in a similar lackadaisical fashion. It was clear, if he fails to set the example, how would the employees be expected to act any different. Its a SCAM place . They rip your money without servicing your car. Here is what happened , scheduled appointment and still they made me wait 3hrs for just oil change and wiper blades SERIOUSLY. After 3 hours they don't install wiper blades and oil change and I suspect they didnot do anything on it and just charged me for the services and returned my car. Where do I start with these unprofessional, bitter, upcharging, untrustworthy C U Next Tuesdays. Just picked up my GFs car after taking it in for a break inspection. For. 2020 Suburu front rotors and brake pad change and a brake fluid flush they say is needed because one if the calipers on drivers side appears to be failing and this will hopefully avoid that from happening. $800 + tax. Call my mechanic brother, explain to him all of that and it's more then 2x the parts price and labor is what 3-4hours. Then he tells me the brake fluid need is bs and it won't help caliper at all and it's just an upsell. Get the parts for $150 and bring me the car and I'll take care of it. Awesome saving $650. Now back to calling these guys to tell them we will just take the car no services needed, you'd think that would be the end of it, but no when I get there and start to drive off I can barely see out of the windshield there's what appears to be some sort of white powder or greasy substance all over the front windshield which I can't even see through and need to use the windshield wipers on at least 4x before I can even see through the front windshield. No way in hell the window was like that when I dropped it off and I was driving the car all day. Then I notice when I get home that it's all over the car and windows. Do you understand how petty and stupid this is. What kind of lame does something like that? What kind of company employs people like this and then what we have to trust them with our vehicles and that they are returning them to us in at least the same condition that we gave it to them in? Stay away from this place and Juan the DM who Greg the store manager who I called and initially complained too wouldn't provide a phone # to. Feel free to Call me anytime if you are concerned with this behavior as I am. 1 Star only because I have to put something I guess I should be lucky this was all they did to my vehicle and not something worse. read more

Needed to replace my son's four tires on his Nissan and we chanced upon Tire Center on google bec it offered really affordable tires. We got our quote and was lucky to get an appt the following day. We got the earliest time slot on a Monday and the store opened 15 mins late. The man behind the counter was friendly and I showed him the tires that I was quoted on, He said we measured the wheels wrong so that quote was a bust. Proceeded to give me options beyond our price range and quoted me $998 including labor and other fees. Incredulous. I was visibly upset and told him we cannot afford that and that is not what we were even close to quoted online, so he goes back to the computer and quotes me something $200 less. For the tire that we purchased I still think we were price gouged. If only we weren't desperate to get the tires replaced, we would have gone to Costco, They just didn't have an available schedule this week. Guys stick to Costco, I learned my lesson today. On my way to the gym and I called all over town to try and get a tire no one had it. I called Tire Choice and they had the size I needed and was still open. When I arrived George was very receptive and greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. During our conversations he made me feel like I had known him forever. The customer service was very pleasant and welcoming. I would highly recommend going there for all your automotive needs. I personally will be going back when it's time for my oil change. I took my car in to have it looked at because of a squealing sound when I back up. I was very clear that this was the issue. After checking the car they stated that my breaks were fine and the pads and rotors were fine but sometimes dirt causes noise. They then recommended a cabin filter change and alignment. Not sure what the cabin filter has to do with squealing! $218 dollars later the car sounds worse than when I brought it in and they gave me a convoluted story as to why they didn't just recommend brakes. They also stated that they didn't even drive the car to hear the sound. Rip off! read more

Called yesterday to see if I can drop my car off this morning @8am before I go to work so I can pick up at noon on my lunch break, [this allowed me to have a ride there and back] the gentleman I spoke to said yes they will be open at 8am. I show up at 7:57am, the gates were down and when I walked up to the door they were locked and all the lights were off. Sign on the door and website says they open at 7:30am so ?? I come here all the time but this was inconvenient for customers who make arrangements. Outside of this incident and another time i waited longer then needed for an oil change, I have no other complaints. Their customer service is normally great. Well, ever since Robert took over as Store manager, this is my shop of choice! Robert is always attentive and provides excellent service. Thank you for getting this place 5 Stars! Previous Review I would have to remove 1 star for having little availability on the weekends for a simple Oil and Filter change. I have stopped in and asked how long the wait would be for an oil change and the manager always asks if I can leave the car all day. His second favorite answer is "We're all booked up!" In my opinion, they staff only based on higher end sales even though they charge $75 plus fir a Synthetic oil change. Why do I say this? Because you can drive by this location on the weekends and only 2 of the 4+ bays are active. Big disappointment for a facility that showed promise early on when they took over from the Thiele's. I will have to look into M's which rates 5 stars or go with Big-O or Firestone. Dealer appointments are also inconvenient if it is not planned well in advance. This place needs to realize that folks in Tracy will pay a premium for quick, convenient, professional and flawless service. read more
