When I showed up 2 mins after the shop opened (Monday 7/6/26), there were already 4 people who'd already been taken care of & about 7 in line. Not to mention a bunch of cars outside & line about 7 cars deep to get air & tire pressure checked. The guys working there were pleasant, helpful & doing the best they could to get to everyone & stay productive. I was astonished at how rude some of the customers were. Complaining so loudly about how they had to wait. None of these guys were standing around, everyone was doing something necessary. I'd love to see how the people complaining could do any better & still keep a smile and ignore the ignorant comments from the people they're trying to serve. I had a nail in my rear tire causing a slow leak and I was able to book a same-day appointment to have it repaired! I love that the Tracy location isn't overbooked and has time for quick repairs. The appointment was at 4pm and the repair was done by 5pm. Service here was great from the beginning to the end, and these types of tire repairs are free! I was welcomed and helped right when I walked in, and the staff member that I spoke to was kind enough to patiently explain the importance of tire tread depth to me. This will be my go-to spot for tire repairs whenever this happens again. read more

I got new tires here in April 2024 but at the time they told me they did not do wheel alignment services and I'd have to go somewhere else. I was happily surprised to find out they offer this service now. I spoke with Chris on the phone and it was not the friendliest interaction. He told me they don't do appts for wheel alignments and I'd have to walk in. I said I didn't want to be there waiting and he said, well you should get here early then. His tone was totally off. They open at 8am. I dropped off the car at 830AM but walked out at 9am because the line was so long! and it ended up being Chris who helped me and I recognized his voice immediately. He told me my car would be up next so I figured I'd get a call back pretty soon. I never got a call back saying my car was ready. I called in the afternoon to find out the status and a nice guy answered the phone and said he would go check and yeah, it was ready. Chris should've called me to let me know since I was waiting for the call. so annoying. he had my number, and if he couldn't call me then should've asked someone else to. I went in and thankfully Shawn was the one who helped me. The interaction was night & day. He was welcoming and friendly and explained everything on the paper about what they did to my car for the wheel alignment. $90. read more

It pains me to leave a low review because I do like America tire. However(zoom in on the pic I posted) the amount of nails, wheel weights, screws, Schrader valve covers all over the ground is comical at this point. I've mentioned it to a couple of the "managers" like Angel etc but I don't think they actually care. I've joked to them that they might be the ones scattering all these nails for job security but idk if it's a joke anymore. I have never seen a parking lot with this much debris, I wonder what the chances are that there happens to be a tire shop in the same lot? Hm, maybe people getting flats is good for tire business after-all. Really can't think of any other excuse. Some of these tires I buy are over $8-900 EACH, $3-4,000 a set! Skip this location at all costs! Constant issues over all 9 cars l've serviced here. From damage to BRAND NEW wheels, excessive wait times, incorrect tire sizing.. I'm fatigued. They accused us of damage to the inner part of the wheel! 2025, less than 3k miles on car, 1,500 on the wheels. IT HAS A 360-camera and we're car guys. Polar opposite from careless on a 60k car. They will accuse you of a ghetto cash grab for damage. I couldn't care less about the money, it's the principle. After reading other reviews here, they've done this before. I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent service appointment at your establishment. My husband visited this past Saturday for a tire pressure sensor replacement. Although we have had pleasant experiences with your team in the past, this visit was disappointing. My husband reported that the staff member who assisted him, Christopher E., was rude and hostile. Furthermore, we encountered a significant issue with the pricing and service. My husband was initially quoted $64 over the phone, a rate based on the fact that all four of his tires were purchased at your location. However, upon arrival, Christopher charged him $112 and stated that the phone quote was incorrect. After paying for the service, my husband noticed the sensors were still not functioning. When he brought this to Christopher's attention, he was told that they don't program sensors. As a result, my husband had to take the vehicle to Les Schwab Tire Center to complete the job. I later called your shop and spoke with Joshua, who confirmed that you do, in fact, program sensors after a replacement. We have valued your work in the past, but this lack of communication and poor service was a major inconvenience. I hope you will look into this matter to ensure better service moving forward and to address the discrepancy in the information provided by your staff. read more

Their follow up was laughable. They clearly don't get paid enough to give a crap about their customers and it shows with their "service". Manager called and wanted me to tell them how they could do better... how about by doing the actual job? Why are you tasking me with telling you anyways! Figure it out for yourselves. The manager also clearly never talked to the person I was in contact with and didn't bother to read the review. No offer to make things better and they wanted me to tell them how after I told them I would never trust them with my car so how could they make up for it. About 2 weeks ago I went over for the free air check and the guy noticed my left rear tire was in need of a replacement the right front and rear were less than 4 months old due to a pot hole destroying the tires, they didn't have my size and brand in stock so they called me minutes later to see if I wanted a new tire, I ended up ordering the needed tire through them of which it took almost a week to arrive. In that week wait my right front started requiring air being added daily, I suspected it was cracked as it's been cracked a few times before but repaired by a shop on 11th street but just to be sure, I wanted this place to check the tire for maybe a nail. I live less than 1/4 mile away. So last Saturday the tire had arrived and I went in to get it swapped out and have the right front checked out. After checking in, the guy went and did his thing doing a walk around checking the 4 tires and said the right front has a heat ring from driving it below 10 psi and if they remove the tire they cannot reinstall it if they find shavings in the tire. I pointed out that I live less than 1/4 mile away and came straight there with ~20 psi, it was not driven below 30 psi prior as I do have a portable air pump I'd use daily... I knew arguing would get nowhere as they just wanted to sell me a tire, he had even already looked up the cost and availability of said tire so I just said to visually inspect it for a nail or anything. After about 30 minutes I get called in to the shop to look at my wheel, it's bent and a weld cracked. The guy (different guy from before) is either stressed or mad about something as his demeanor was immediately hostile, I just said okay that I can take it to get fixed again and he nearly yells "the weld is cracked you can't fix that! You need a new wheel" I sort of just shrugged it off and just said to add air and put it back on, then he says they can't do that or do anything with it because of the heat ring... Fine, I pulled in with it at 20 psi and it's likely less now, but I guess riding around with it on low pressure is safer than having it topped off. So I just said to put it back on, they finished up what they were willing to do and I drove it to the chevron across the lot to put air in it and take it to the shop on 11th street where for $180 they fixed the bend and re welded the crack... a week and ~200 miles later it's still solid. Also note, Americas tire does a pro rate road hazard warranty whereas Tirerack.com has a free road hazard warranty, for hitting the pot hole destroying 2 right tires they 100% refunded the cost of the tires and you can get them shipped to an americas tire location for installation... So I would suggest anyone to buy online and ship to your house or a store (not this location though) to get the free road hazard warranty. read more

This is past-due but we still are grateful to America's tire for helping us! We were driving back from Yosemite to the Peninsula when our Rivian tire burst in the middle of the freeway. America's Tire and Discount tires are the only ones who carry Rivian tires. The tow truck brought us here right as they were about to close. The folks at America' tire were so friendly and helpful - they did not have the tire in stock however they ordered it from Sacramento and our car was ready the next day. I still can't over it. Called at 10am concerned about a tire leak. Got in that same day at a time I could make it. Then, a completely flat tire, needed the spare put on, AAA tow truck guy ETA was an hour. Show up an hour after my set appointment time and despite it being nail biting close to closing at 6pm, these guys got me taken care of. I'm glad I called earlier in the day. It doesn't hurt to do my part and do everything I can to give a heads up. The smiles on these guys, the reassurance, communication, just overall experience has been wonderful. I've never had bad experience with Americas Tire (Sacramento, Dublin, Campbell...Discount Tire in New Mexico), but this location reallllllly shined. It's stressful having a nail in my tire, but these guys took such great care of me, that this ordeal felt like nothing but a bump on the road, pun intended ;) This is what all corporations should focus on - the customer experience. I'd like to say Jacob was very understanding about my situation and how he can help. He did great but when they changed my rims they kept my wheel lock and the main one on top of it. After my car was being worked on all of the sudden it had tire issues and alignment. They should have checked the car first before anything. I did call to inform them about them keeping my lock and they were very rude and hung up on me. My advice check your car to make sure they return all your items. This lock is expensive and hard to find. They also didn't check my car prior to getting services there. read more

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION! Unless you are okay with paying more money for tires which COULD HAVE BEEN covered under your WARRANTY! They will do anything to sell you tires, even go as far as suggest if you would like to use tire sizes that are NOT FACTORY SPECIFIED for your vehicle. I came in to this location because I blew my tire out from a pothole. I wasn't worried because I bought the warranty for my tires. When the technician assessed my tire damaged, he automatically started saying it would not be covered due to the balding of the sides from being unaligned. The tire had worn uneven, although the tire still had tread on it. As the tech used his machine to check what tread depth it was at, he manipulated the machine and categorize my tire to be a "2" instead of what the truth was being a "4", Making the warranty I had on the tire void and unusable. With my car being AWD you need to replace tires in pairs just can't do one. And with my tire costing $254 each x 2. I was looking at over $500 for two tires. Lucky for me they did not have my tires in stock and found out the Livermore store had 4 available and I personally made a call to verify they did. It was at the Livermore location where I was shown on the machine, what level each of my tires were at, meaning the Tracy store had intentions of making me pay more than I needed to. The Livermore store knows what customer service is about. My damaged tire was still covered under warranty and ended up only having to pay $277 for 2 new Michelin all season 4 pilots. This brings me to the conclusion that it's up to the technician's discretion whether or not your tire can be covered when it has imperfections or unnormal wear and tear, which is unfair for the customer and makes it personal. The reason why customers pay extra for a warranty is to avoid having to worry about road damage. So for corporate Americas Tires who reads these reviews, your systems are all connected with all your stores and can see what's been done to a persons car and where it was serviced and you can easily look up my info to verify this review. Customers don't like to be manipulated Tracy location! Let your machines rate the tire. Don't make it personal. The Livermore location can teach you guys how to treat customers the correct way! read more

Walked in to get a tire replacement on a rainy day. Since I carried in my single tire, service was efficient. I got checked in, chose my tire, and within an hour I got a text that my tire was ready to be picked up. I asked if I should make an appointment, they said I didn't need one, so my assumption would be a short wait. I came in at 12pm, I waited 3.5hrs to get my one tire installed. I don't understand it. I bought tires for my wife's Mazda here last November and thought the service was acceptable and efficient. This week I had an appointment for the tire rotation and I'm not even sure what the point of an appointment is. Walk in customers that were coming in after me had their cars worked on before mine. It took well over an hour for a tire rotation with an appointment. I don't think I even waited an hour when I had all 4 tires installed. That was frustrating, but the biggest problem for me was that they forgot to reinstall one of my lug nuts. After getting the car back, I took it across the street to refuel and did a quick walk around of the car to find that a lug was missing off one of the rear wheels. This tells me that they are definitely not checking lug nut torque, and not even checking that all lug nuts are reinstalled. Unfortunately, I simply can't trust America's Tire anymore and will have to go back to DIYing my rotations to know that it is done correctly. They did replace the lug nut with a new one because they couldn't find mine. It doesn't match my OEM lug nuts which bothers me, and I had to wait outside for about 10 minutes for someone to come out and install it. read more

A few months ago my boyfriend's car needed to get a tire replaced. Since we were in the area we headed there right away. This place is one of the biggest stores I've been to. We didn't have an appointment so we did a walk-in in the afternoon around 1pm. This place was super busy and trying to find parking out front was difficult. All spots were taken so we had to park elsewhere. Our wait was estimated 2 hrs but we were surprised that it didn't take that long. For years I have trusted a different tire place but after they messed up on each of my last two visits including today, I decided to America's Tire a shot. I called and spoke with Jacob who told me there were a couple of options for tires and they could have me out the door in 45 minutes. When I arrived Jacob was on the phone and I started speaking to someone else, but Jacob was done on the phone and addressed me by name. I've been going to these guys for a several years now but recently in last 2 visits, I had bad experience on multiple fronts. It almost appeared that the employees feel that they are full of business and want to drive away customers to reduce load on themselves. It was not the case with all employees but some I dealt last two times definitely fit the bill. Both times, I was installing new tires. In first visit, I installed new front tires on one of my EVs and all 4 new tires on another EV. In second visit, I installed new rear tires on the EV (which had new front tires installed 2 months ago). 1. They left wheel cap off after changing tires and handed the car to my son (who went to pick up car for me). We had to drive back for that. 2. When changing front tires for first EV, in first visit, they took the wheel lock from glove box but left it in a empty paper coffee cup in cup holder. That was cleaned up by car wash guy and luckily they kept it in a bucket of such stuff in rear which we didn't know about. In the next visit, the wheel lock was missing and we had to find it in the cleanup bucket that I was in garage and they were rude about us asking them why they didn't put it back in glove box or at least in console storage. 3. They were forcing wheel alignment on (1) front new tires installed 2 months and (2) new back tires being installed now saying they won't be aligned after installation. Isn't it your job to keep things in order when installing new stuff and not cause deliberate misalignment? If customer driving, usage, weather and road conditions caused wheel alignment requirement I understand. But just because you are installing new 2 tires and you mess up the alignment - you want us to pay for it. I wouldn't mind if he's suggesting it but he was insisting it! 4. Then my son asked how long does it take to change tires so we can figure whether we should step out and come back instead of waiting, he says - "however long it takes" (that too rudely). read more

Appointment time was honored at the time I had and work was done quickly. Excellent customer service. I always get my tires here. Great customer service! My tire light came on and they have a spot for checking tire pressure and adding air. You don't even have to get out of your car!
