Checking in online to schedule an appointment for a certain time is a waste of time. When arriving to the store in particular I was told that their online system is down so I have to wait in the line that they have. Poor. $35 for blow dry,$10 for shampoo and conditioner, $10 frizz free spray. Basic service and I walked out looking like I did this myself at home. Nice stylist but no pride in work. I tipped $10 on top of everything because stylist tried to curl the ends. If I am paying salon prices it would have been nice to get a scalp massage. I walked in and saw 2 women working. 1 working on a client and the other approached me. She sat me down. I asked for a blunt, trim. She was quiet which is fine. She charged me $40. I didn't think much of it and I even tipped her $10. I came to the Supercuts near my job in the city of Orange and I requested the same thing. WHY WAS I ONLY CHARGED $28? It's sad to me that the girl at this Montclair location overcharged me because she hates her job or whatever her reason. She had long hair with these little glittery strings in them. I went in on December 23 with the intention of cutting one inch off. Ginelle was my stylist, she convinced me I needed to cut more (my hair was damaged) We agreed on 2 inches, 2 inches was cut off the length. But unfortunately, she was extremely layered happy. She ended up cutting 3 to 4 inches off my layers. I asked for face framing, but she ended up giving me bangs!! I never wanted bangs. The top short layer matches the bangs, if not, they are shorter than the bangs. I've been holding off on writing this review (in hopes that my hair length would be decent in week or two. It's been more than two weeks and my hair is still terrible because of the layers. I can't put my hair up. I wake up with a mushroom head. I just wish the hairstylist would've respected my decision on just cutting 2 inches off, and only 2 inches. This is by far the worst haircut I have ever received. Please please please listen to your clients don't act like a hero like you're doing them a favor. I can't even blow dry the layers with the round brush because they are too short and if I have a small round brush and blow dry it, I would definitely look like more of a mushroom. It will take me about 4-6 months for my hair to look decent. I'm definitely never returning. read more

Had my hair cut here last Friday. Pretty simple request... fade in the back and sides and spiky on top. Even showed the "hairstylist" a couple of pictures of what I was looking for. I ended up with literally the worst haircut of my life. It's embarrassingly bad. I'm going to need to wear a hat for the next few weeks while it grows out or shave it all off.
