I decided to try this salon based on the great reviews, but unfortunately my experience was very different. I went in with healthy, voluminous hair and left with severely damaged and brittle strands. Nely was the stylist who worked on me and I believe she left the bleach on for far too long . I even remember my hair falling out during the process. I had a balayage done in March 2025 and ever since people have asked me what happened to my hair. It's been incredibly disheartening. My hair has lost all its volume and health. I'm now taking biotin supplements, using high-end products and hair masks and trying everything possible to reverse the damage. The emotional toll has been real and I'm considering cutting my hair very short or spending thousands on extensions I never even wanted. I genuinely regret going through with this appointment. The picture speaks for itself as it was worse before . The picture I'm posting is the progress of my growth journey from bad bleach and still looks bad . Please be careful when choosing a stylist as I wish I had been. Whenever I got out , I have to wear clips extensions . It's so embarrassing and annoying. Makes me depressed read more

I booked a half leg waxing service with Mondez Salon by Diego @ 10a through the Vagaro app. The window stated they open at 9a on Saturdays. I arrived just before 9:30a and the place was closed/ gates up. Someone showed up 5mins before 10a. When I mentioned my appt and the services I was expecting, the stylist looked at me as if I was crazy, stating they don't do waxing there. I showed her the app with my appt time. She then proceeded to tell me they don't do online/ app appointments. She then called Diego, who also stated to her that they don't offer waxing or use an online booking service. I'm ok with not using this business but better not get charged a cancellation/ no show fee. read more

Made a same day appointment with Diego. When I arrived he informed me that he was a bit behind schedule. He asked if his other stylist/assistant could get me started on the color and he would do the cut. I appreciated that he asked and didn't just tell me to have a seat and wait. So I went ahead and agreed. I asked to have my hair dyed to my natural hair color and the cut to be a short bob. He didn't disappoint. The color was on point and everything went smoothly. I showed Diego exactly what I wanted and he came through. My hair feels smooth, silky and healthy. I will definitely come back for a trim. It was fair price and I appreciate the time they both took on me. Didn't feel rushed or pushed out. Everything was clean. Diego had a mask. I wore one, but I don't believe it was required. I came recommended to this place by a co worker and I really wanted to love this place. First time I schedule 3 hair cuts with Diego but I got some other girls, no biggy! However my daughter got home straighten her hair and it is uneven. I booked a balayage with Diego 10am sat there til 10:30 didn't show! She picked out a picture from YOUR GALLERY. Your work was no efficient today. QUIT POSTING WORK THAT IS NOT YOURS! The young lady was to nice to let you know her opinion. (You still charged her full price?!) I'm not being rude but just thought you should know how upset I am for her. I LOOKED AT THE PICTURE SHE SHOWED YOU and CLEARLY you did not meet the clients standards of what "BALAYAGE" should look like. You went full blond on her... I decided to try this place out, due to some good reviews. Sadly i did not get the results i expected. The owner/hardresser claimed because my hair had too much recent dark coloring etc.... it did or not its Always the hairdressers magic to be put on work...this place just wasnt the one, because i have seen other hairdressers achieve the results i wamted ON MY HAIR TYPE/COLOR.... so it is not impossible... If i would of known this i would of never came here, i will never come back or recommend this place to anyone. I spent all my day for my hair to comeout the same, or worse. I am so upset I am getting married today and they are so irresponsible we had an appointment at 7 am and it is now 8:55am and there're still not here when I made my appointment the girl told me yeah we open at 10 but we can make you an appointment at 7 we ll be here at 7 am. I moved to Pomona 2 years ago and I've been looking for someone that I can trust my hair to and also to avoid driving for an hour to my old place, I made the appointment with Diego, very friendly environment, I also got to meet Ms. Yvonne; very nice lady, felt very welcoming. The customer service here is amazing and the salon is a cute lil salon hidden in a small parking lot everyone is so friendly and it is very clean. Diego is a good guy, and I was recommended to him. I think the language barrier may have played a role... I speak Spanish, but I get along in English, you know? He cut my hair way too short, after explaining to him that I wanted it by my shoulders...he cut my hair by my ears; way too short. Then I had to go back because he left one side longer than the other! (He must of got nervous when I got upset about my hair and just left the other side alone, lol). Oh well. read more

I was not satisfied with my hair. I am not trying to throw shade or disrespect the hairdresser - Diego, however I did not receive the results I expected. Rather than feeling confident about how my hair turned out, I felt embarrassed to end up with purple/gray hair. He said there was too much orange on my hair and a lot of corrections from previous hairdressers, but as a hairdresser it is your responsibility to fix it, especially with what you charge. I do not mind paying over $200 dollars if my hair is what I ask for. I do have thick hair, which I understand is the reason why I paid more however he can't say the labor he put in is why he charged more. I put my labor hours to get my desired hair too, however this experience was a lost on my end. I should be leaving the hair salon with the color I ask for. It's difficult to trust a hairdresser, but this is definitely a learning experience for me. read more
