    I've been here before with the same person but this last time was a total disappointment. Because of my schedule I'm only able to go in on Saturday. Last Saturday i called to make an appt and was told they had availability in the moment so I went in as soon as we hung up. There was one person before me and one hairdresser available. I think the fact that the client before me didn't wanna get their haircut by that hairdresser should have been my first clue. I brought several pictures because last time I was told I didn't have enough reference. But i mainly showed him a picture of me (#5) and most of what I said was pointing to that picture. I repeated myself multiple times. Told him over and over that my hair would not look the same afterwards. He asked me if i meant that it would shrink (I have curly hair) I said yes. I told him this many times. This is basic knowledge, even someone who doesn't cut hair for a living knows. He said he was cutting my hair dry and that it would fall the way he cut it. That should have been another red flag. I understand curly hair should be cut dry, but to say that it'll stay the way he cuts it is straight up wrong. I told him 1. I wanted my hair longer than it was in the main picture I showed him (#5 in this review) 2. That i wanted a faux mullet 3. That i wanted to top and bottom longer than the middle (as a faux mullet should be) 4. I wanted the bangs layered and 5. That i wanted to bottom to flip up like in the picture 6. That i wanted the sides to be long enough that i have sides but short enough that I do not have to be putting my hair behind my ears to achieve the mullet look (as in picture #5 where I had pushed my hair behind my ears) I said this, especially the last point, so many times. Most of the consultation was about this/the middle/side of my hair. You can see in the pictures provided that i did not get a single thing I asked for. He trimmed the bangs which he said naturally layer it and that may be the case but i was asking him to layer them more and he didn't understand. He didn't know how else to do it other than how he had done it. I told him the lady that usually does my hair there layers it more. He asked me who it was but I don't remember her name but she wasn't there. So he kept asking me when was the last time I was there. I am bad with dates so I didn't remember and told him so but he kept insisting. I'm not sure why, knowing when I was last there wouldn't teach him how to cut my hair. He also had me tell him how she did it and i tried explaining but I didn't do a good job as I'm not a hairdresser nor should it be my job to teach him how to do it When he was done he asked me what I thought and got upset when I was honest and said that he cut the bottom too short. It was shorter than in the picture as it was, and having curly hair it was going to get even shorter. He kept saying he gave me exactly what we discussed and exactly what I asked for. The pictures I've provided show that is not the case at all. I've had bad haircuts before and im used to people not knowing how to cut curly hair so i would have gotten over it. Also not the first time I get it cut way shorter than I asked for, but getting mad and telling me this was what i asked for was incredibly rude. He refused to cut any more after that Before he started he suggested cutting half the length of the side/middle and i said no because that seemed too drastic and i wanted to see first how it would look if he cut less. He complained about how it would take more time but agreed to it. Once he was done he refused to fix it, said he wanted me to be happy with my haircut. That ship had long sailed. He offered to wash my hair and i do wish I had accepted the offer so he could see how my hair was gonna look after but at that point i just wanted to leave Picture #1 is what I left the salon with. It's cute but it wasn't gonna stay like that nor was it what i asked for #2 is what it looked like after i washed it #3 shows it's uneven and #4 is today I'm still struggling to style it to make it look nice. The only way is to push my hair behind my ears which I specifically and repeatedly said I didn't wanna have to do #5 is the reference picture and #6 is what my hair looked like before the cut

    This was my first visit as a client to Hair Masters which my daughter recommended. I got my hair styled and retouched with Martha. Martha and the ladies are very nice and friendly. The place is nice and clean and they were very kind to offer me water or coffee, I chose the coffee, it was a great choice. Thank you.

    So I was really scared to look for a new hair stylist and my hair was badly damaged due to repeated bleaching but I got an appointment same day with Martha. She really made me feel at ease and made me feel beautiful with the cutting of the damaged hair. I've never had my hair at this length but I'm loving it so far and I feel so much better and healthier. Thank you Martha!!! I will definitely be back. I also have to add that I loved how inviting, sweet and attentive the service was from all 3 ladies working there.

    They are one of the few haircut places open during COVID. Not only do they give great haircuts, but they are nice and I wouldn't hesitate to come back. During COVID, they've opted for haircuts in salon chairs outside with mirrors. Even in this 100F weather, I didn't feel the heat as they are in a shaded area. Support your local businesses as they put themselves on the frontline of this pandemic for our convenience!

    Was able to get a quick response after requesting a consult on here and able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Staff greeted me right when i walked in and was seated quickly. Showed what style and cut I had wanted and Maggie helped explain the process to me. As a very anxious person, I felt automatically comfortable with the service and energy from the start. I honestly can say I found my new spot ! Thank you so much

I also get my eyelashes done by Carissa and she is the BEST!!!! I have gotten them done elsewhere but lemme tell you the difference is how full and "tight" the lashes feel. When I say "tight" you know that the lashes are secured and will last a Long time which they do. I was impressed from my first session and have been only coming to Carissa . Prices are great as well!     Honest Review of My Experience With Diana Salcido (Color Appointment + Communication + Deposit…read morePolicy) I'm really disappointed with my experience with Diana, and I feel it's important to share so others know what to expect. I originally came to her for color and highlights. The first appointment was over $500, and while the dimension looked nice when I left, the color faded extremely quickly within just a few washes. I reached out politely to let her know, and she offered to gloss it , which I understood as simply refreshing the tone. Instead, my entire head was turned into a single dark chocolate color. All of my highlights were completely covered, my hair became several shades darker than what I originally paid for, and the dimension I loved was gone. None of this was discussed with me during the service. She didn't even fully dry my hair before I left, so I couldn't see the true result until I got home. My hair was already dry from the first appointment, and this additional processing made things worse. When I reached out to express confusion and concern, she did not take responsibility or apologize. Her responses were dismissive, and at one point she simply replied "Ok," which made it clear she didn't care about the impact the service had on my hair or how I felt as a client. It was deeply unprofessional and left me feeling unheard. Throughout all of this, I remained kind, calm, and respectful. I work in the beauty industry myself, and I believe strongly in treating clients the way I would want to be treated , with care, honesty, and accountability. When a mistake is made, it's our job to take responsibility and make it right, unless a client is being truly abusive. That wasn't the case here at all, which is why her coldness and lack of remorse were so confusing and disappointing. Weeks later, my hair is still not the same color or look I originally paid for. I had a future appointment booked, which I canceled with plenty of notice, and politely asked for my deposit back. Only then did she inform me that deposits are nonrefundable , something that was never communicated at booking. She insisted the policy had been stated, but it absolutely was not. Keeping a client's money when they cancel days in advance, especially after a service that went wrong, is not ethically or professionally acceptable. Overall, my experience with Diana showed: Lack of communication during the service No accountability when the result was not what I asked for Dismissive responses when I expressed concern No empathy or care for the health of my hair Uncommunicated policy used to keep a deposit after poor service A cold, unprofessional attitude toward a client who was nothing but kind I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was stressful, expensive, and handled with very little professionalism or integrity. I would not return and cannot recommend her based on how she treated me throughout this entire situation.
