I came in for a perm and keep in mind this hasn't even been 24 hours and was very disappointed with the end result after it had dried. After the girl doing my hair finished I was okay with it but not too satisfied. You can see in the picture my hair is already straightening and I also wasn't exactly asking for beach waves as a perm either. What I got didn't match my picture I had showed. I don't like how it looks at all and I even tipped too. It honestly just looks like I had my hair in braids and then took it out. I wasn't told much instructions either on how to maintain it. It sucks because I did pay $160 for this. I listened to the girl doing my hair's single instruction she gave me of not washing my hair for two days so I'm so confused how it's already back to straight and if I can even get it back to a curl. MORNING UPDATE: honestly what even is this because it's definitely not a perm or curl....I put curly hair product in and that don't even help. I just want my full $160 refund back because my hair is just messed up now. read more

Im honestly not sure how to word my review other then I guess i'm 'ok' with my hairs result. For some background; I havent had my hair professionally done for over a year and a half because I wanted to save some money, but I decided that I wanted to spoil myself a bit before I went back to work and let someone else do my hair for a change. Dont get me wrong, the atmosphere was very chill and made me super comfortable... but I feel like me and my stylist may have gotten our communication mixed up. Im not someone good with explaining what I want which I take accountability for, but thats why I always come with photos. I wanted a full bleach out to get a very nice milk brown color with some muted/dusty pink peak a boo and a color block on my bangs. The bleach out process was lovely, no doubt better then when I do it on myself. But the coloring process was where I feel it went downhill. She did my color while I was in the wash bowl, which to be fair I think it's because she couldnt reach the top of my head while I was in the chair. But because of it my bangs ended up having my color block moreso in the center rather then on the right side of like I wanted. I also think that she may have gotten mixed up because what was suppose to be my milk brown ended up much lighter then the picture I provided, like a more traditional milk tea hair color. While my pink was made almost magenta in color and a lot more vibrant then I had showed or asked for. I think she may have felt rushed too because we went a bit overtime with my hair and her next appointment had come a bit early. I believe somewhere around 2 ish. I think initially she was going to style my hair with my more traditional curl pattern, but ended up being more like a shag then anything else. Which again im not entirely mad at since that was just the style, the haircut itself was nice to just get all the breakage and dead ends off. Im moreso just bummed that the colors didnt come out how I had envisioned. But I understand its sort of my fault too as im not very good at confrontation for that sort of stuff. If anything I wish I could have maybe just a partial refund because of the colors; it feels a bit like I waisted money on that part. Nice people. But Probably wont be coming back for a color appointment again. read more

Ok it's been a long time coming & this review is going to be a bit lengthy.. I scheduled my mom an appointment to have her hair done on 10/24/25. We were first timers at this establishment and booked through Yelp. Somehow there was a misunderstanding between the owner and the stylist with the kind of appointment we booked. The stylist thought my mom was only getting a cut rather than the whole 9 for color correcting, blending, dying grays with a low maintenance cut with bangs to frame her face & some layers to fix the blunt cut she had from a different stylist in Utah. We were told we were scheduled with amber to complete my mom's hair however due to the misunderstanding & amber having prior engagements, was only able to get a cut from her. We anticipated having to come back the following day to finish her hair but Amber & Priscilla were the ultimate life savers and power teamed my moms hair to ensure we received everything we scheduled for so we would leave happy. My mom absolutely LOVES her hair. They did a phenomenal job, brought life/color back to her hair and gave her exactly what she was looking for!! Thank you ladies so much for fulfilling my moms hair dreams In the midst of everything going on with my moms hair, my dad saw a customer that just had their hair cut by the owner Ali and really liked it so decided he too wanted a haircut and was lucky that Ali was free at that moment to take him. My dad absolutely loved his haircut and was more impressed that without needing to be asked/told, Ali trimmed his eyebrows and ear hairs! Thank you Ali so much for taking my dad in last minute and fulfilling his hair dreams On top of the amazing care/hair color/cuts/styling, the salon is so beautifully decorated, smells great & they offer you a menu with complimentary drinks! The only good thing about our visit was that they had same day availability. That alone should have been a red flag. I took my daughter for her first layered cut with Vanessa. The vibe was very dry, they have a bar in the back that looks like it would be to serve clients coffee or drinks however we were not offered water or anything, not even a smile. Service began promptly, my daughters whole back was soaked, hot water used where my daughter had to ask to please make it colder as it was hot. The towels used to dry or wrap hair look soiled with bleach stains. The cut was $90.00 for a pre teen with long layers, we asked for face framing and when I politely asked for more framing I was given a cold shoulder. Would not return. I feel that the salon should have better customer service, friendly attitudes and just a more welcoming environment. The layers are unnoticeable and will have to take her elsewhere. I happened to be in town visiting my kids and made a same-day appointment for a haircut because my hair was in such terrible condition. I was able to easily book online with Alex. She was absolutely fantastic. Cut my hair better than what I could ever have expected the shampoo and conditioner products utilize there are top quality. I am so pleased when I move back to the area I will make this place my permanent hair salon. If this is the quality and service you receive every time you come in here I will have no guilt leaving my previous hairdresser of 10 years. Alex was nice however I booked a curly haircut. She does not know how to cut curly hair, I had asked for curtain bangs which is what I had gotten before with my other hairstylist, Alex stretched my hair and went in and cut my bangs way to short and the layers I had asked for don't even blend in, overall my hair looks really choppy and honestly the worst haircut I've ever gotten. On top of that another client had came in and she rushed the rest of the appointment, didn't even finish blow drying my hair all the way. I thought a lot about writing this review but again this really is the worst haircut I've gotten it's been a month and I'm still really struggling to like it and figure out how to style the bangs. Lesson learned don't cheat on your stylist and don't trust someone with a curly haircut that claims they like their straight hair more. read more

Hard to give an overall rating because there were some great things, some not so great. My stylist was super nice, fun to talk to, and gave me a nice haircut. It just isn't the haircut I asked for, showed pictures of, or received. I went in with layers that I needed touched up, and my hair somehow is more blunt-looking now than when I first went in. After my appointment I did a hard workout and sweat a lot, so I washed and restyled my hair myself. It just isn't what I wanted and what I communicated. Before my hair was dried, she told me she was going to dry it and see how it looks, and if we want to cut more, we will cut more. Hair was dried and styled and I asked if the layers and length in the back could be taken up a bit more. She said not this time, next appointment in 6 weeks. I understand she had another client waiting. That was the case when I first arrived as well, and I waited for 20 minutes or so. I tipped well and did enjoy the appointment, but I'm not happy with my haircut, unfortunately. read more

I've come three times prior and I'm always surprised at the ways that she comes up with new methods to pamper her clients. I've got two kids in school and a busy schedule. But with Glamber it's just an artist and her work of art. I've tried a few places in the Rancho/Upland/Claremont area and mane salon stands out among the rest. If you're looking for an average experience, with a mid haircut don't book Glamber. Because what you'll get is a few hours of pampering and relaxation. Terrible communication, I scheduled an appointment through Yelp with the owner for a 9am and I show up to the store @8:55 but the store was closed. I noticed they didn't open til 9 so I waited another 20 minutes till communicating with the owner. He explained that there was supposed to be a hairstylist and another person already.
