I was really hoping to become "Hello Gorgeous," but apparently I'm stuck at "Hello... Anyone?" As a new client, I called three times over the course of a week and a half and left messages each time. I figured maybe the first one got lost in the beauty ether, the second one was during peak glam hours, and the third one... well... surely someone would call back. Alas, the phone remains silent. At this point I can only assume one of the following: They are so good that their clients never leave and therefore the phone is purely decorative. My messages were intercepted by a rival salon trying to keep me from achieving my full gorgeous potential. The title "Hello Gorgeous" is aspirational and I simply didn't qualify. Sadly, without a callback I will never know what my true level of gorgeousness could have been. If anyone from the salon happens to read this, I'm still here... patiently waiting... aging slightly... and continuing my journey toward mediocrity instead of gorgeous. read more

I've been getting my hair done for many years at this salon and absolutely love it! When I was living further away I would make the drive just to get my hair done here. I am so particular with the way my hair looks and I wouldn't go anywhere else! The salon is decorated super well, very clean, and all the stylists along with the owner Brooke are incredibly friendly. I have been going to Amber Hattabaugh for such a long time and she does my hair perfectly. I leave the salon feeling like my best self. I've had it all - extensions, chopped my hair, grew it out, colored my hair blonde, bronde, dark brunette, curtain bangs, the works. All I have to do is give her a brief description of what I want and it comes out exactly the way I envisioned. She is super friendly and wonderful to talk to. She is exceptional with color and also gives me tips on the best ways to maintain my hair - I love that she's always sharing new things with me and preserving my hair health. This review has been a long time in the making....I was searching for a new stylist/salon after I outgrew my last stylist a couple years ago. I was looking for a stylist who styled hair for the individual in their chair rather than the routine hair extensions, long layers and waves stylist which is what my previous stylist did. As with most women, we are loyal to our service providers and the thought of switching or trying someone new just isn't enticing unless you absolutely need to. I came across HGBB after a google search of salons nearby. I perused their website and loved the cute intimate feel based on the pictures provided. I called to inquire about the stylists and was greeted by the owner who was extremely personable and informative over the phone. She recommended Diane as she was a newer stylist to the salon. So what did I do? I looked through her IG and loved her styling pics on hair from different ranges. I booked an appointment with Diane. I located the cutest boho chic salon tucked away in the rear of a parking lot. When I entered, I saw lots of neutral, calming decor with foliage scattered throughout. I was immediately greeted with a smile and then encountered my stylist Diane. To sum up Diane in a nutshell... I would say she is funny, spunky, honest, and genuine. She doesn't over promise and is realistic on what she can do for "your" hair. She looks out for the best interest of her clients and is flexible with scheduling. In addition to Diane, all the other stylists are nice and seem to have passion for what they do.
