This place is wonderful. Ive been coming here for 12 years now. I started out with the beautiful Sarah. Once she left, I left but came back and it felt like home. I now have Stacey who is amazing. The whole place is like so close knit. Everyone looks after each other.Its always so clean and good music is always playing. Everyone there is super friendly and respectful. My stylist just had her baby in January and when she returned to work, we all got to see, hold and love on this new beautiful baby girl. Its a beautiful experience. I have been getting my hair done by my hairdresser for over 15 years. I would follow her anywhere. She does amazing work! My issue is with the salon itself. I have visited several salons over the years that my hair dresser has worked at and they all have been great. Salon Cameo however is very unclean. Dust everywhere. Cobwebs in all corners. Baseboards and ceilings. Bathrooms very unkempt. The kicker for me though is the unprofessionalism of the hairdresser nearest to the door. This is the third time I've been in and her baby is there. In a stroller most of the time. But the other half of the time her clients are holding the baby while she does hair. This is a place of business, not a daycare. And if she has her hands and hair dye, she can't pick the baby up when she's screaming and crying. Besides it being extremely unprofessional, I find it offensive as a mother that the baby is sitting in a salon for eight hours a day just breathing in fumes. Either hair dye fumes or nail polish fumes. Either way it can't be healthy for her. read more

Everything was perfect! I impulsively wanted to get my hair done, so I called the salon asking if they were able to take a walk-in and they were! I was able to get my hair cut done by Cindy and she is an amazing hairstylist! As she was shampooing my hair, she also started to massage my neck and scalp, which was so lovely and she was able to give me advice about what my hair and scalp needs as well. The haircut plus the customer service that Cindy gave was exactly what I wanted and I HIGHLY recommend her service. I mean this lady delivered what i wanted and actually more! I told Bree what I wanted and she educated me well on what will compliment my skin tone and what's best for my hair type. I'm somewhat reluctant to leave this review as I know how it is being an independent contractor. I've been going to Stacy for maybe 2 years or so and while for the most part I've been happy, this last visit left me in tears . Aside from my cut and Color which are fine we went over how I want my bangs and where I want them to lay . I asked for curtain bangs... my bangs were already long, and I have zero idea what happened but she cut my bangs so short I can't even wear them to the side that they usually go to .I can't part them in the middle because nothing seems to blend together and they look ridiculous . They are so short I keep trying to wrap my mind around why this happened and yet I'm Left with extremely short bangs . I did tell her at the time that they were too short with not much response and I also texted her the same night expressing how upset I was and that I wouldn't be coming back to her . I paid $225 plus I still tipped because I was there for 4 1/2 hours! Still, Zero response. This is far from Professional and honestly just rude . If I could give 0 stars I would... I had the worst experience at this salon with Bree. I have been a loyal customer for year. I have never been late and I always pay. I might not make her the most money but, I've always been loyal. A couple of months ago I had an appointment at 9am and Bree texted me saying "so sorry I forgot" I was still kind enough to wait and I didn't let it affect our relationship. I waited an hour for her the first time she was late. I get it stuff happens and I am not the kind of person to get worked up over something that has only happened once. Fast forward to now I texted Bree on Monday to see if she could cut mine and my daughter's hair. Keep in mine there is no rush. I asked Bree her availability and she then proceeded to ask me mine. We agreed to this Saturday at 9am. Come the morning off I wake up early and my kids so we can head to the salon. We arrive at 8:58 in the morning and there is no one at the salon. I texted Bree to let her know I have arrived. After 30 minutes I called her and no answer. At 9:30 she lets me know she "forgot about me" again... I was in shock because this is now the second time but, I was still cool. She let me know I could wait for her and I told her I will grab a bite to eat for my kids and come back. Since my kids were starting to get restless. I text her asking her if she wanted me to go home or just head to the salon. She then ghosted and never responded. It was almost two hours by this point. I drove 35-40 minutes so I just decided to go back to the salon in hopes that she would be there. When I arrive her daughter lets me in. As soon as she sees me she's rude and not apologetic. She is doing another clients hair and laughing with her. She then tries to make me look like I am in the wrong by saying I booked late and I would have to wait. She raises her tone scaring my daughter and I choose to walk out with my kids. I began crying in the car as I'm pregnant and apologized to my kids. I was so upset that Bree tried to make it look like it was my fault when she forgot about me. No one told her to book me if she was overbooked. The way I see it she was irresponsible and forgot about a client twice. She then ghosted me and when I showed up she was shocked. She wanted me to look bad in front of her client so it doesn't look like she was in the wrong. I told Bree I've been here since 8:58am before I walked out. I am so traumatized by this experience. Even after this I wish her nothing but the best. I hope you guys have a better experience than I did. I'm only writing this review because a clients time should be appreciated and no one should walk out of a salon crying. What I thought was going to be a great Saturday getting my haircut with my daughter turned into me feeling embarrassed in front of my children. Do better! read more

Salon Cameo - Went to a hair stylist- her name I'll leave anonymous - today Saturday. She told me when I got to the salon she's running 15 minutes behind - instead I waited one hour! She didn't put the correct color on my roots - she left to get lunch while my hair had dye on it. Finally she washes out the color and proceeds to cut my hair. I only asked for less than half an inch and she chopped up my hair and put tons of hair spray. It cost me $120 with tip. I'm extremely dissatisfied and will have to buy touch spray to cover my roots. This has caused me great aggravation! I wish I could get a refund but they don't have a manager there. Consumer be ware. I wouldn't recommend this hair stylist or the salon. Buyer be ware! read more
