Hanh immediately put me at ease with her warm, funny, and welcoming personality. She's genuinely so kind. During the consultation, she really took the time to understand what I wanted and helped refine my ideas into something even better. I walked away feeling confident and excited instead of anxious. Tristin has been with me through years of big hair changes. She took me from blonde to brunette during pregnancy, and then directly to platinum card blonde, and she is truly the BLONDE QUEEN. I have spent my whole life chasing the perfect icy blonde and never achieved it until her. No unwanted warmth, no weird patches, just flawless, consistent color for 5.5 years straight. I wear extensions too, which adds another layer of skill, and she handles color matching and blending perfectly every time. I just started transitioning back to brunette and even that first in-between appointment looked incredible, which says everything. Beyond her talent, Tristin is kind, funny, flexible, and makes five hour appointments feel easy. You know how when you look for a recipe, that there's that story at the very beginning that you…read moreneed to scroll through to eventually get to the end of the story to finally get the recipe? Yea, this is probably one of those. For 20+ years, I never really paid attention to my hair. Sure, I made sure it was washed, neat, and healthy, but I never styled or dyed it. Mainly because I just wanted to grow it long enough to donate every year and to rinse-repeat that cycle. Well, maybe it was a mid-life crisis or the shackles of filial piety were broken, but I finally FINALLY decided to get my hair dyed purple at the end of Dec 2023. I wanted to get this done right, and I did a ton of research and perused the area on a great hairdresser. And, every hair is different and I really was trying to dial in on hairdressers that know how to deal with Asian hair (ha, the past bad basic haircuts at the hands of the inexperienced were sad). Honestly, all of the pictures on Yelp really convinced me to reach out to Christine, and it was such an easy process via Yelp to let her know that I was interested in a cut, dyeing, and some styling. AND, I have sensitive skin and wanted to make sure any type of bleaching process wouldn't affect me, so that was hugely important to me. We got all the logistics figured out, got an appointment scheduled, and was ready to go. On the day of the appointment, I was able to message her to let her know I was in front of the doors so that she could let me in. She was so kind and welcoming! She sat me down, confirmed a few pointers, and started on my hair. Wash, cut, trim, bleach, dye. She was professional through the 4+ hours we were together, where we chatted on a number of different things as she made sure that everything was going to plan at every stage of my hair process. Let me tell you: the final result was AWESOME. Loved my hair; it was exactly what I wanted (the picture does not do it justice). She also provided me information on what specific shampoo/conditioner to use on my hair (definitely take her recommendations: the shampoo and conditioner were really good, as it strongly maintained my purple for over 1.5 years!). I received nothing but compliments about my hair the entire time it was purple for the past 1.5 years. But, it's summer 2025 now, and it was time to cut off at least 12" to let my neck breathe. I reached out to Christine via Yelp again, let her know I was looking for a cut-only, and got an appointment. Same process of messaging her when I was outside the doors, and we quickly chatted about my hair as we walked to her salon. The purple still looked GREAT and I was sad to see most of it go, but I do have plans maybe in the next 6 months for another color. Anyways, we did a quick consult, then wash, and then cut! Final result of a bob/layered was soooo nice and exactly what I was looking for. Hubby could not stop complimenting about it all night when I got home, and I love that there's still a little more purple left to admire. With all of the above, I just want to say that Christine is amazing, talented, and so professional. Her art is very visible in her work, and I've loved my hair any time she has touched it. Hands-down, she's the only hairdresser I'll want to go to, and I wish her continued successes in her business because she deserves it. I'm looking forward to my next cut/dye job with her!

He made her first haircut a genuinely happy and fun experience. She asked for bangs and a bob, and it turned out to be the cutest hairstyle I've ever seen on her (see photo). The nail techs are talented, pay close attention to detail, and consistently do beautiful work. Unfortunately, I developed a nail fungus on one of my nails, and during subsequent appointments I noticed they continued using the same tools on my infected nail before using them on my healthy nails. They also dipped the same polish brush into bottles after using it on the infected nail. That raised serious concerns about sanitation and infection control, and it made me question whether the salon follows the cleanliness standards it advertises. Another downside is the pricing. While I generally feel the quality of the work justifies the cost, I was surprised to be charged an additional $10 for filing during a fill. Filing is a necessary part of a fill because the nails have grown out, so it feels like a basic component of the service rather than an optional add-on. Charging extra for something so fundamental comes across as excessive. I genuinely like this salon and want to continue supporting them because the artistry is excellent. However, I believe the sanitation practices--especially when dealing with nail infections--need immediate attention, and some of the add-on fees should be reconsidered. These are issues that affect both customer trust and health. I also hope it's the same salon I'm referring to because the photos of the interior do not match the salon on Ramona. Are there two?

I had a practice trial with her and I absolutely LOVED everything about the look she created for me! She listened to every detail and recreated my Pinterest look! She obviously made an impression since she was the first and only H&MUA I called for my own wedding. Jessica was professional, communicative, and so much fun to work with throughout the entire process. We did a trial prior to the wedding day and even though I know nothing about hair or makeup she was able to capture what I envisioned. At her recommendation I got extensions for my wedding day, but even at the trial she was able to transform my sad thin hair into beautiful Hollywood waves. Day of, Jessica and Heather (the second artist she found for us to get everything done in a timely manner) were a dream team and were very kind and patient with our *ahem* less than easy family members. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and everyone's hair and makeup stayed intact all night! It's the best I've ever looked and very likely the best I'll look for the foreseeable future. Between me and my wedding party, there were people with skin tones varying from dark-skinned to very fair-skinned and from naturally super curly to naturally pin-straight hair. Not only did she and her team do a great job accentuating each of our natural beauty, they made it last all night! As someone with very straight hair, I was very weary of getting my hair curled for my wedding as I was afraid it would all end up falling. Not only did Mayra use the proper products, she told me how to properly prepare my hair, and she used a teasing technique that made my curls hold all day and night....something that never happens. I was very impressed. I did a make-up trial at my house before booking her for my wedding. During the trial, she paid close attention and took detailed notes on how I wanted my make-up done while also recommending what she thought was best for my face. I am someone who is really into make-up and am very particular and detailed with it, so I am typically wary of other people doing my make-up. I have also had other professional make-up artists not do a good job on my make-up in the past, so I was very impressed and happy with how professional and talented Mayra was. And while talent and professionalism are of course what you want the most from a make-up artist, she is also an incredibly sweet person who was truly a joy to work with. It's important to feel comfortable with someone who is going to be in your face for that long and I couldn't have felt more at ease with her. Not to mention her prices are very affordable considering how skilled her whole team is. I'm lucky to have been able to book her.
