A couple of days before June ended I desperately needed a haircut. I've had my share of different stylist in the last couple years and I was so happy that I found Lulu. She was fully booked for the next two weeks when I contacted her so I decided to keep searching. The very next day she texted me that she had a cancellation and if I wanted to come in. Boy am I glad I did!! I wanted to go back to a A-line bob haircut that I had years ago but with a softer A-line look. She literally knocked it off the water! I decided last minute that I wanted to cut my hair and Lulu was nice enough to book me with less than a day notice. Arrived at the salon which was clean and a lot of open space. As you can see from the picture, it has been years since I had my hair cut (professionally) and I was actually a bit nervous. I decided to dye my hair for the first time ever, and I decided to trust Lulu with my precious hair! Trust me, Lulu is a fantastic hairstylist. However, I have to give her three stars for certain reasons. PROS: -Lulu & her assistant Lucy are extremely kind, easy going - She will make sure they are on the same page with what you want -she knows her stuff and that definitely made me comfortable CONS: -waaaaay too overpriced. I only went in to color my hair (no haircut, bleaching, etc.) and we had agreed on $110, I already thought this was a bit on the pricey side just to ombré my hair. BUT - I ended up paying more than that due to a hidden fee I was very upset about! Being that I've never dyed my hair before, I had no idea you were charged for something as simple as blow drying hair. Lulu asked if I wanted her to blow dry my hair without letting me know there would be a fee. A $30 fee to be exact. I ended up paying a total of $140. Far too much. -slightly disappointed in the color... I had asked for a rich wine red ombré style but instead the color somewhat came out as an orangey red. Still okay, but I was definitely let down a little. Lulu is a really nice woman and hairstylist and I would recommend anyone to her if you're okay with your wallet taking a hit. Lulu does an incredible job with hair. Never have I been to a hair stylist who takes so much time and care with their clients' hair. She took me from a light blonde to a dark brown, and after I was over the brown after just three short weeks, she took me back to a darker blonde which looked great.
