I understand why they have five stars! Rani was amazing--I loved her and I love how she cut and styled my hair. My usual hair stylist was busy, but now that I came to Rani, I don't want to go anywhere else! This place is phenomenal

I get my hair done every new year and the first time I went to Jayvon, I wanted to go blonde and he made my hair beautiful and golden and he fixed my raggedy damaged hair!! For this new year, I wanted to change everything about me so I wanted to do an ombre blue type thing and he delivered once again!! He originally didn't have the blue and he just went and asked around the other salons and was able to give me what I wanted. Jayvon and his mom are so sweet and so easy to talk to and works with what you ask from them. My hair always turns out so pretty and I have confidence that they'll always look out for me, I'm so happy I found them as my hairstylist!!

This is the best salon in SoCal, I'm so thankful for them both! Rani helped me finally loose my long hair and do the short that I always wanted too! It fits me so much better! I lost my hair's virginity to this place haha. I went from basically jet black hair to emerald, to gray, to purple, and now a gorgeous full on blonde. AND MY HAIR STILL FEELS AMAZINGLY HEALTHY - despite all the damage I did to it lol. While going through all that bleaching process, it's nice to have professionals who know what they're doing. Today i was able to get my hair done by Jayvon at Riedel Riedel. The salon is inside the sola salons on the second story. Be sure to get your maps to the sola salons closest ro Victoria Gardens. They are one of the first salons as you walk inside. Be sure to check them out i was very happy with my hair color. Im very picky and i was impressed with his natural talent. read more

First, she will ask you what type of style you would like. Then she will cut your hair to the desired length to ensure you are happy with it. She cuts it first before the wash so you can see the length before your hair is washed. The. she will wash your hair and not that whatever kind. She will really wash it with shampoo and conditioner and a nice quick head and neck massage. Then the fun part begins....she gets to work on cutting and she starts with the length then goes into the details so your hair looks natural. I'm not a person that likes to style my hair in the morning. So it's basically a wash and go for me. She gets it and makes it work. The time she spends on the little details makes her such a fantastic stylist. Yoo is so good that she is usually booked every day so I highly recommend making an appt. The salons system sends a couple of email/text reminders before your date. There is plenty of parking in the lot, even with the other store fronts. The roundabout makes it a bit of a pain to get in. When entering, I wasnt greeted by the secretary at the desk. Kind of just stood their awkwardly for a minute before figuring out that there's an ipad to check in with. But if I had been a walk-in, which they accept, it doesnt give that welcoming impression. Savannah greeted me shortly after checking in and she was attentive as I answered her questions on what I wanted. Felt truly heard. Ive been on the search for someone to dye my hair and my past experiences haven't been ideal, color fades even when using the recommended shampoo treatments. Im writing this 2 months later and my hair color is still vibrant. Loved my cut, and the style I was envisioning came to fruition with Savannah's hands. I would say the washing process itself was a bit painful. Gloves felt like they were pulling a lot but I understand theyre needed to protect from the chemicals used. Music is being played while in the salon but I think a TV would be helpful, especially for those appt's that run longer. Love Rani and all her expertise of hair. I have colored my hair in many shades, cut it many different ways and Rani always makes it look great. This was my first time coloring my hair, and I was beyond nervous. Jayvon did such a wonderful job not only on my hair, but at lightening up the environment for me. I went to jayvon Reidel. He is a super rude guy. Don't go there. they make me wait for 1 hour, and when I said you make me wait for too long instead of saying sorry he got angry and said that what it is, and I don't have to do my hair there!!! If that what is you should tell me before waiting not after 1 hour waiting. So rude!!! And his work is awful too. During this 1 hour I was watching his client, and see how he made her ugly.
