I came in on the 24th of December and was very excited for my appointment. I asked for a layered haircut with short blended curtain bangs and included pictures. The result of what I got was not what I was expecting at all. The bangs were really choppy and shorter than expected and my layers were also very choppy and thick. The only layers I see are two pieces that she grabbed and just cut. She didn't even use layering sheers on my hair and she normally used that on me. Everything else on my head was not layered and my hair is actually still pretty thick when I needed it thinned out. The stylist I requested normally cuts my hair decent however that day I felt that she put very minimal effort into my hair. I paid a lot of money and I'm extremely upset with the way my hair turned out. I unfortunately will not be coming back. read more

I got my haircut by Larissa and it was one of the worst experiences I've had. The cut was choppy, uneven, and completely lacked blending. I had to book a corrective haircut with a different stylist the very next day. Larissa refused to offer a refund and was completely indifferent to how upset I was. In the area and need a cut for my son and I. We used to have our hair cut here many years ago but it got pretty bad, stylist not showing up. Gave it another shot. I asked the manager if they knew how to layer hair. She smiled and said that they defiantly did, they do not. They also do not listen. When asked about the length I stated shoulder. I got above the base of the neck. The left side is about an inch and a half longer than the right . I don't think any two hairs are the same length. I knew the cut was going to be bad when the stylist did not section my hair. This is how layer hair, lots of videos on line. It took the stylist less than 25 minutes for two cuts. My son's hair is the same mess. Angry? No. Disappointed sort of. No ones like being lied to but kind of expected these days. Patronizing this salon is your choice. I won't. The environment is very soothing and relaxing. I enjoy getting my hair done surrounded by professionals and their clients. Everyone is very kind and welcoming. The salon is always well kept and very clean. My stylist Angie is amazing! Throughout my years of her doing my hair I've gone from blonde to dark and back again. She's done so in a professional way and my hair has stayed healthy and fabulous. To say that she is God sent is an understatement. Recently moved back to the Fontana area and took my mother here as a treat, worst decision and experience we have ever encountered. Her hair came out absolutely horrific, cut way more than what was requested, but styled it so you couldn't tell how bad it was until the first wash at home. She is devastated. Walking in the front staff was extremely rude unless you are a regular in the salon, which blows my mind that anyone would actually go here more than once. I would give zero stars if I could. I came in yesterday to get my hair bleached and retouched. But how much I love the color of my front bangs! It's a really nice ash silver-blonde look. Though I did expect a silver color; however, since I had dark virgin hair, my hair type was a bit difficult to tone to the color I wanted it to be. UPDATE #2: I posted the same review on the salons FB page, the stylist (or owners) friends/family decided to comment with information that's not true to try to cover up what happened to me at this salon. Shows volumes of the level of gaslighting and bashing that comes from going to this salon and posting about a bad experience. One woman even claimed to have done a background check on me which is mind blowing, stalker vibes and completely inaccurate. These people along with the owner claimed that I went to another salon after leaving the hair studio, which I didn't, I simply stated in my original post that I WOULD HAVE TO. I declined a partial refund because yes the color (all over black) was done correctly but I was also charged for additional product due to the amount of hair I HAD and the stylist just cut it all off. It is not about the money, I have no problem paying for products or services of quality, but spending over $200 and having my hair turn out like this is just wrong. The owner offered for me to go back and have her fix the cut but after seeing what these friends or family posted I'm sure I would be leaving with my hair even worse. 'Update: The owners 'options' at reconciliation are absolutely ridiculous (photo added), will be reporting the business and looking into small claims.'I went to The Hair studio for an all over color and trim, my hair was almost to my butt and when I left a majority of my hair is now to my shoulder. It is not an even cut. I was given a 'bob' with a very little amount of hair in the back longer. This is NOT at all what I asked for. I have very long and thick hair (actually it's HAD now), so a lot of product was needed to cover all of it. I was told by Larissa that since we were NOT cutting that much off she would do the cut after the color. My hair is absolutely butchered. There is no fixing this without just cutting a lot more off. It will take months if not years to get my hair back to what it was. Highly recommend staying far far away from this place! read more

This place doesn't have images of their work for a reason and they cover up bad reviews THE WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER They have inexperienced staff and they make you sign a release before you even sit in a chair so that should tell you what to expect The manager and the owner are both very emotional and unprofessional and will do anything to avoid responsibility should you complain/confront them I was told that I was making a scene and that I was rude after coming in and trying to resolve the matter I went in for a bleach touch up and although I had damaged bleached hair prior to the service,I had a regular salon that cared for my hair properly. After my visit to "the hair salon" my hair was almost completely destroyed, the stylist burned my hair with the flat iron! I still tipped this girl and agreed to come back the next day to correct the problem Once I requested a new stylist it went completely downhill The owners are so insecure that they told me that I was talking to other clients while I was making a scene when in fact I was responding to a complement on my shoes as I was waiting!!!!...if you look at my pictures my hair was not unhealthy looking before and somehow it was even more yellow when I left however the owner tried to convince me that it was my choice to go against them and bleach my hair. The other thing, she said her stylist didn't overlap bleach I can say this is true because the damage was mostly to my ends and even the color in the pictures below show ORANGE BRASSY BURNS on my hair! When I asked receptionist if my hair looked like it was worth $95, she spoke to stylist and got cost lowered to $80. This is not worth more than $45. I was charged extra for the "waves". Where?
