I have found my new salon! Been looking around for a new salon, and after a few recommendations and the help of fellow Yelpers, I made an appointment at Lavish Salon. When I called to make my appointment, the young lady on the phone was super sweet, and asked me all the right questions of what I needed/wanted out of my appointment. As you can imagine though, going to a new salon and new stylist after so many years with the same person, it's nerve racking. Lucky for me though, I was assigned to Kai. I immediately felt at ease as we were talking about what we were going to do with my over grown style, and faded color. As we began the process, I knew this was going to be an awesome experience. Kai is so nice, fun, and knowledgeable. My hair looks AMAZING! And to be honest, it hasn't looked this good in a long time. The salon is so cute and immaculately clean on the inside. You can tell just by the vibe of the salon, the staff takes pride in their work. I am so exited to call Lavish Salon my new home. read more

The salon is in the perfect spot--right next to Bruster's Real Ice Cream, Target, Big 5, and more! The staff is friendly, the place is spotless, and best of all, my two favorite hair whisperers, Alyssa and Nicole, work there. These ladies are masters of their craft, and it shows every time I leave with fabulous hair and a lighter heart. The hair is always on point, and the therapy sessions are an added bonus. Well done, ladies! read more

My color is always perfect, the cut is always beautiful, and I walk out feeling confident and refreshed every single time. It's rare to find people who not only do amazing work but also make you feel so comfortable and appreciated. Sal and Danny have been that for me for many years, and I'm so grateful for them. read more

Went in on 12/29/25 to purchase a 200.00 gift card for my wife. I stood at the reception desk for a solid 4-5 minutes before this lady comes from the back and says " what do you need " with an attitude as if I had the plague. So I tell her I would like to purchase a gift card for my wife. This gal looks at me and states I'm an independent contractor and I can't help you. I ask if anyone else was there that could assist me and she says no, turns around and went back to cutting her clients hair. She was very disrespectful and Rude which is Not Ok. I didn't catch her name, however it was at 11:15 am. Independent contractor or not, she represents Lavish. read more

I came in wanting my daughter bangs and some older lady took her and messed her beautiful hair up. I can't believe it.. I don't recommend this place at all.. she cut them 1/2 inch above her eye brows!! When we asked for curtain bangs!! Disappointed read more

I debated leaving a review but I utilize Yelp often and appreciate others reviews so I felt I should. I came a few weeks ago for the first time looking for balayage, when I called I clearly asked for balayage and even when my stylist and I talked before she began I showed her pictures and explicitly explained I wanted a very natural look with absolutely no color at my root Overall, the color the stylist achieved was beautiful however, in no way did I receive the balayage technique. Plainly put I received chunky highlights to my roots. After reaching out to the stylist and hearing nothing in return (which was disappointing) I called the salon. In all fairness the manager offered for me to come back but only after telling me "you must have miscommunicated with your stylist". I didn't, but even I did please don't blame the customer. While I appreciated the offer to come in for my hair to be fixed I overall was disappointed with my experience and unfortunately don't want to risk going back even if it is to "fix" my hair. read more

I was disappointed to find out that my hairstylist left and never called me so I wasn't in the system. However the personnel were so kind and friendly. I do my hair toss, check my nails. Baby how you feelin'? Feeling good as hell.. and it's all thanks to Lavish Salon. It was 100% time for a new hair-do, and luckily I was able to squeeze in an appointment with Lavish Salon's hairstylist, Iliana. Lavish is an upscale salon located in Rancho Cucamonga, offering cuts, dyes, and everything in-between. Prior to my appointment I put together a small Pinterest board of the look I was trying to achieve. Iliana shared the ins-and-outs of each of the photos and educated me on the dying process. I ended up going with a darker base, added highlights, and additional layers. The results were identical to the photos I had provided, plus my hair feels healthier than ever! This salon is definitely on the pricier side, but I'd rather spend the money and love the results. They also offer complimentary wine while you wait! read more

I started going to Dana after being dissatisfied with a previous stylist at another salon. I just felt like my old stylist never wanted to try anything new on my hair because she didn't want to ruin the integrity of my hair... respectful. However, after seeing Dana, I realized that was not the case, she has been able to execute all my hair need and my hair has never been healthier. She is so sweet, honest, and helpful. Instantly, I felt like I have known her for years. Additionally, the salon has a great vibe and it's very relaxing and comfortable and not at all loud and obnoxious. I highly recommend this salon and Dana. read more

Last week, I came into the salon asking for the photo on the right. The image is from their yelp page, so I thought it would be a somewhat simple request. 3 hours later, I came out looking like this. And best of all, both sides don't match at all. If your anything like me, your incredibly busy and now I find myself searching for the time & a color specialist who can fix this (not to mention all my wasted money). Good luck ladies. read more

I have been having a hard time find a good hairstylist and my coworker recommended Jessel to me and she did an amazing job. I DM her on Instagram talked to her what I wanted to get done I sent her a picture of my hair and a picture how I want it to look like and made an appointment with her. When I went to the solan we went over again to make sure what we needed to get done. I asked her for a ash blonde with no cut and she did exactly what I said to her. At the end my hair came out a lot better than I expected. Overall I was very happy with her work and I'm for sure coming back next time. read more

After my hairdresser of 20 years moved out of state I really didn't know what I was going to do. I happened to see Lavish reviews and decided to call. Unfortunately they were booked. About an hour later I received a call back saying there was a cancellation. (Great Customer Service)! I was greeted when I walked in and met with Joseph. I am so happy with how my hair turned out. I just wanted to start by saying how great Dana is! She became my regular stylist after a traumatizing experience with my old stylist. I was treated so poorly by my old stylist that I was unable to continue my service and had to leave with my hair unfinished. I was devastated by how I was treated. A friend of mine recommended Dana and although she had a very busy schedule that day, she was able to see me so we could have a hair consultation. She not only gave me a very realistic solution on how to proceed with my hair, but she instantly put my mind at ease. I had an appointment within a week. I was blown away with her professionalism, knowledge and how well she handled my hair. She does great with color and extensions. I have never been more happy with a stylist. I love this salon and I highly recommend it. Everyone is very friendly. read more

I also take my daughter since she was little she has had her hair cut by everyone in the salon and all the ladies do an amazing job. They always recommend Redken and Pureology, they are fabulous! They have a great location, fully visible from the street. Great amount of parking and easy to get too. The salon is very clean, no hair all over, trash etc. Everyone is very friendly and talk to everyone. They offer you a choice of beverage and sometimes a cookie or treat. The salon is very modern, smells nice they always have good music that ranges from classical to john legend, always calming! read more

I will be posting a picture soon so look out! Thank you so much to Tara for my new cut! I went in with a good idea of what I wanted but was willing to be talked out of it and am so happy I wasn't! I loved her energy from the beginning til the end and the cut was Icing on the cake. I didn't catch the receptionist name but she was personable and attentive welcoming me the moment I walked in the door. Music was good and vibe was nice. I Went in and asked the receptionist how much it is for a trim and she told me $26. When my stylist called me back she had me down for a wash and style only. I had told her that I requested a trim as well and they told me that its $46. The receptionist misunderstood me I guess. So I continued with my haircut. When I went to pay i asked my stylist Natalie if they currently had any Yelp discounts. She said yes she had a promotion for a free haircut so it ended up being FREE! I'm glad I asked! I have been coming to Lavish for almost 7 years now. When I originally started coming I would drive over 40 mins just to get my hair done here because that's how much I loved their services! Tara is my hair stylist specifically that I go to, but I have had services from Elyse and Esmeralda as well. If I could ever get squeezed in with Sal I would have had services from him too! I would trust anyone one of them to do my hair. I have gone to Elyse for a cut and hair styling services and I have never been disappointed, she is amazing with her ideas and visions. Although I've seen some amazing coloring and hair styles from Esmeralda I have only had blow out services with her but because she is so awesome in her technique I will only get a blow from her because she is the only one that achieves my Volume of desire (she is a blow out master) ! But I have continued to get my hair done by Tara for so many years because she never fails me! I am EXTREMELY picky in my hair and the services I want & get. She is a true master at her craft. From her technique of coloring, styling and cutting but she also offers other services from makeup, braids, extensions and clip ins. Over the years we've come to know each other so well I consider her a friend. I wouldn't go anywhere else other than Lavish Salon! read more

I could rave on and on about how much I enjoyed my experience here, but I'll post a photo to show you how my stylist JISSEL C. knew exactly what I wanted with 2 words..."beachy curls" for a summer wedding. First off, the receptionist was very polite and accommodating when I ran a little late, and I was offered coffee as I sat down. My stylist took a good 5 minutes to ask about what I wanted, how I wanted it, and what occasion it was for. Once she got an idea, she repeated back to me her interpretation and it was way better than what I had in mind in the first place. I just told her "you're the stylist, I trust your expertise. Amaze me :)" and she did just that! Not only was she very careful with my hair (my hair has been thinning and falling out in the last couple months), she made sure to gentle handle my hair during the blow drying and curling process. Gestures like that mean a lot to me because it means my stylist listened and understood my concerns and responded professionally to it. Best stylist I've ever had! Jissel's expertise is wide ranging, but she mentioned she loves doing updo's and hair for special occasions. :) Thanks Jissel! Looking forward to coming back again for my haircut soon. read more

I was so very happy with my haircut and color today!! I called for a next day appointment and they had one. I have never been to this salon before. I typically go to one down in Newport Beach but because of how far away it is and scheduling, I usually go a very long time without a haircut. It has been one year since my last cut and like I said I only go to the one in Newport Beach because I trust them but I couldn't wait any longer and decided to take a chance. Kai greeted me and we had some fun conversation and on top of it I absolutely love my haircut and color. I will be coming back often to see Kai. Thank you for a great experience! read more

I recently came to lavish salon to get color toning for my hair. It had become too light for my olive skin tone. Jissel handled the process of getting the right color tone for my hair. She was very thoughtful to my concerns and very knowledgeable. I am back to a warm hazelnut shade thanks to her and I am very satisfied with the result. The Price for color toning service is very reasonable in comparison to other salons, and it is definitely rated as one of the top salons in Rancho Cucamonga. I am definitely going back for another service with Jissel. I went back today because I needed to add some dimension to my now growing hair, of course Jissel stepped up her game again, She gave me partial sun kissed highlights and I am loving the result.
