I wanted to update my previous review…read more First, I want to clarify that my original review was not about the salon owner, but specifically about the hairstylist Tommy. Unfortunately, my experience with her was very disappointing. When I booked my appointment with Tommy, I also brought my mom with me, so both of us had our hair done by her. Sadly, both of our hair colors turned out very uneven and looked quite bad. The results were very similar for both of us, with patchy and inconsistent coloring. When I tried to talk to Tommy about fixing the problem, she did not seem willing to help correct it, and there was no offer to redo the service or provide a refund, which was very frustrating. However, after my review was posted, the salon owner personally reached out to me to apologize for the experience we had at her salon. She kindly invited us back to fix our hair. A few days ago we returned to the salon. The owner helped correct my hair color herself, and another stylist named Michael helped fix my mom's hair color. They were both very patient and professional while working on it. At the moment, I am much happier with the result because the strange uneven colors are gone and the overall color looks much more balanced. I will also attach updated photos. Originally, I wanted highlights, but because of the previous coloring, my hair had too many different tones, so it was not possible to add highlights right away. For now, the owner helped even out the color first, and we will slowly improve it. After I return from my trip overseas, I hope to come back and add highlights at that time. I appreciate the owner's effort to fix the situation and take responsibility, which is why I wanted to update my review. I will give an update after get my final result with highlights I want it and a five stars. Thanks

She was very thorough during the consultation to make sure I understand what she is about to do and that I also get what I came in for. My original hair was highlighted (super bleached/ashy) and had a bad layered cut (turns out I had a mullet I wasn't aware of lol). I wanted to return to my natural color and also get a cut to even out my layers. Within two hours, Hanh achieved the color and cut seamlessly through proper and detailed steps to repair my damaged hair. My experience with her was fantastic. She is so bubbly and fun to talk to and she is an expert in her field. I have never learned so much about hair ever in my life! Even for styling, she gave so many tips. I never DECLINED nor disrespected her in any way. I even tried reaching out to her a few weeks later, apologizing for the delay in replying. You know what she did...? She straight out blocked me. Overly exaggerated reaction. 2nd, it's absolutely normal for ANYONE to share an honest review about a bad experience they had with people who claim to be professionals when they are not. The review I left about the other salon, is none of your business. They OVERPROCESSED my really long silky hair and dared charge me 700$ for it. They damaged my hair due to misjudgment and lack of professionalism. I'm not dumb, I know bleach damages hair, but OVERPROCESSING is something else completely and I think i'm doing the right thing letting other people know about my experience with them. The other salon I left a review about literally charged me 150$ to cut my bangs, after I showed a reference picture, and the results didn't look good at all. When you go to a hair salon, you want the stylists to make you look nice and make you feel good and happy, not the other way around right...? That's kinda lame and unprofessional of you to judge me and ignore my appointment request with you just because I was unlucky and had past bad experiences. Instead of treating people unfairly and poorly the way you do, you should find it in your heart to be compassionate and try to help them acheive their goals, instead of treating them the way you do.

I was about to have a heart attack but by then she already was half done. The other major red flag was that all the foils were positioned on my face and I could barely see. The owner didn't t even offer refund. When I went days later after my face was back to normal to another hair salon to get a 2nd opinion , he said basically it looks like this girl just put my hair in a pony tail and painted the tail and left the shaft dark color! In short, please don't let this girl touch your hair. She should not be doing hair. I wasted a few hundred dollars for not a balayage and for nearly going to hospital from my horribly inflamed face!
