Do not book with Irma Andrade if you expect honesty and transparency about pricing…read more I was quoted $300 for a corrective color service and ended up having to pay nearly $600. The appointment lasted 7 hours, yet at no point during that time was I informed that the cost was progressively increasing. Only when the service was completely finished and I was about to be blow-dried did Irma suddenly tell me the price was now $500 because it took longer and required more product. That is not transparency. Transparency would have been informing me the moment the service was exceeding the quoted price and giving me the opportunity to approve the additional cost or even giving me a range at the beginning contingent on time/product used. Instead, I was presented with a final amount 75% higher than originally quoted after all the work was already done, leaving me with no real choice but to pay it. A quote that almost doubles without any discussion until checkout is unacceptable. Clients deserve better communication and basic respect when it comes to pricing.
