Quoted $65 for a Blowout... Charged $130 Instead I came here for a simple blowout because I had an event that day. Before booking, I specifically asked the owner for the price and was told it would be around $60-$65, which sounded normal. The stylist Jessica did a good job overall, although my scalp was still slightly damp when we finished. The real shock came when she told me the total was about $130.00 for a blowout. I explained that the owner had quoted me $60-$65. Even $70 would have been fine. But being charged double the quoted price felt completely unreasonable. The owner was called, and instead of trying to resolve the misunderstanding, she became upset, refused to take my payment, and told me to leave over the salon speaker. I actually felt bad for the stylist because she was caught in the middle. I asked how I could tip her, and she gave me her business card. Later that day, I texted her apologizing for the situation and letting her know she did a good job. Two days later, I received a message from her blaming me for the disagreement with the owner and saying she lost her job because of it. Weeks later, she continued texting me about it. For reference, I regularly get blowouts at other salons for $55-$65 and tip generously. Unfortunately, the lack of price transparency and how the situation was handled means I won't be returning. Lesson learned: make sure you get the price in writing before your appointment. read more

I had an appointment with Alexander today at 1 o'clock. She was very much efficient with her time. She was there I did not have to wait one minute. She was very professional very sweet and awesome. I recommend her to do anyone's hair. She does a great job I went in told me what was good for me and she did it. I came out very happy and I will go to her again. I was very much annoying confirming my appointment every other day lol but Sally always responded! I had been looking for someone to do my hair for a while and as I was looking around on social media I came across with Sally's page. I sent her a DM asking her for the price and availability she was so kindly she replied within minutes. Usually hair dressers take hours or days to respond, but Sally replied back fast. I can say I booked my appointment within months and I did go to my first appointment. She took a look at my hair and explained the process I was okay with it. I was at the salon for at least 5 hours and the results were so amazing and beautiful! I let 6 months pass and booked ahead of time for the holidays and went again for my second session. I decided to go lighter and as you can see these are my results for the second time. No damage on my hair with the bleach I am totally satisfied with my results. I called La Petite Salon in Upland and spoke to a lady named Rulah. I told her i was looking for a stylist who had experience cutting PIXIE haircuts. Right away she suggested KAREN. I was hoping to an appointment before Christmas...it was my luck that KAREN had appointment open at noon time. KAREN was very professional and friendly. She had her work cut out for her because i started growing out my pixie cut and it was a challenge. OMG! Karen did a fabulous job with the cut and the color was better than I imagined. I will definitely be a repeat customer and will refer friends and family. My service at this salon has been great ! Jessica has been my go to hairstylist for years . She knows exactly what I like and goes above and beyond to excel my expectations. I usually like a ton of layers in my long hair and she has the patience to give me the cut without sacrificing my length like other places . I like that once she has dried the hair she goes back to double check everything looks great from the front and back . Please do not come here please. The boss is a scammer, and will book you with someone with 0 experience. I came in with already blonde hair, all I wanted was to touch my roots up. Attached I have a picture of myself with my hair prior to the damage caused by Josefina, at La Petite salon. She handled everything unprofessionally and tried to blame me for the results given when she is the professional! I left with hair breakage, and a mix series of colors in my hair ranging from black, brown, copper, yellow and orange. Horrible, just horrible. Please take from me and I advise you to look elsewhere for your hair needs. Somewhere with actual specialized PROFESSIONALS. When I was in clear distress and had my hair burnt off by the hairdresser, I was completely disregarded and was belittled most entirely. Save yourself the stress and time. I wish I knew better, but I tried to give the benefit of the doubt for a hairdresser that I TRUSTED! I would never ever come here again, this place deserves to be SHUT. DOWN. I was promised a result of my roots blending with my hair, which I have had happened successfully before, not at this place but elsewhere.
