I got a layered haircut from Ciara & I absolutely loved it!! I am very very picky when it comes to my hair & once I told her what I wanted, she was in her element. I had messed up my bangs a bit & she managed to make them look flawless. The whole experience was absolutely amazing; Ciara was completely focused on my hair, the music was great, & the environment was calm & peaceful. Will definitely be going back!

Im honestly not sure how to word my review other then I guess i'm 'ok' with my hairs result. For some background; I havent had my hair professionally done for over a year and a half because I wanted to save some money, but I decided that I wanted to spoil myself a bit before I went back to work and let someone else do my hair for a change. Dont get me wrong, the atmosphere was very chill and made me super comfortable... but I feel like me and my stylist may have gotten our communication mixed up. Im not someone good with explaining what I want which I take accountability for, but thats why I always come with photos. I wanted a full bleach out to get a very nice milk brown color with some muted/dusty pink peak a boo and a color block on my bangs. The bleach out process was lovely, no doubt better then when I do it on myself. But the coloring process was where I feel it went downhill. She did my color while I was in the wash bowl, which to be fair I think it's because she couldnt reach the top of my head while I was in the chair. But because of it my bangs ended up having my color block moreso in the center rather then on the right side of like I wanted. I also think that she may have gotten mixed up because what was suppose to be my milk brown ended up much lighter then the picture I provided, like a more traditional milk tea hair color. While my pink was made almost magenta in color and a lot more vibrant then I had showed or asked for. I think she may have felt rushed too because we went a bit overtime with my hair and her next appointment had come a bit early. I believe somewhere around 2 ish. I think initially she was going to style my hair with my more traditional curl pattern, but ended up being more like a shag then anything else. Which again im not entirely mad at since that was just the style, the haircut itself was nice to just get all the breakage and dead ends off. Im moreso just bummed that the colors didnt come out how I had envisioned. But I understand its sort of my fault too as im not very good at confrontation for that sort of stuff. If anything I wish I could have maybe just a partial refund because of the colors; it feels a bit like I waisted money on that part. Nice people. But Probably wont be coming back for a color appointment again.

I came in for a perm and keep in mind this hasn't even been 24 hours and was very disappointed with the end result after it had dried. After the girl doing my hair finished I was okay with it but not too satisfied. You can see in the picture my hair is already straightening and I also wasn't exactly asking for beach waves as a perm either. What I got didn't match my picture I had showed. I don't like how it looks at all and I even tipped too. It honestly just looks like I had my hair in braids and then took it out. I wasn't told much instructions either on how to maintain it. It sucks because I did pay $160 for this. I listened to the girl doing my hair's single instruction she gave me of not washing my hair for two days so I'm so confused how it's already back to straight and if I can even get it back to a curl. MORNING UPDATE: honestly what even is this because it's definitely not a perm or curl....I put curly hair product in and that don't even help. I just want my full $160 refund back because my hair is just messed up now.

First and last time I ever go here. I booked an appointment online for my 11 year old daughter for a hair cut with Priscilla. Online price is $80 which is a bit much but I went by reviews. We arrived and had to wait outside because stylist were late. Once inside I noticed an empty coffee cup sitting on a dirty table in the lobby, that alone should have told me customers isn't a priority for them. Also the tables and furniture is so filthy. Priscilla then walks us to her station where the floor and walls are grimy at the corners. She barely asked my daughter any questions about the cut and forget any welcoming conversation. Very dry personality at best. Do NOT expect customer service from her. She did the cut which was not as layered as my daughter has requested, but no big deal, it's hair and it grows. So when I go to pay she charges me $100! I told her I booked it and it stated $80, she said SHE charges $100 for cuts. That bothered me because not only is it false advertisement from Mane, but so NOT worth the cut and absolutely not worth the service my daughter received at all. Not a good experience. Literally go to Sassy for better service, same cut, and HONEST prices. I don't like posting bad reviews but this i couldn't let go. I hope it saves you the customer from being deceived and disappointed

Mane salon is a place to go when you want to be pampered. For Glamber this isn't a job. This is her craft. I've come three times prior and I'm always surprised at the ways that she comes up with new methods to pamper her clients. I've got two kids in school and a busy schedule. But with Glamber it's just an artist and her work of art. I've tried a few places in the Rancho/Upland/Claremont area and mane salon stands out among the rest. If you're looking for an average experience, with a mid haircut don't book Glamber. Because what you'll get is a few hours of pampering and relaxation. All while she works on your hair as her canvas.

Irene is literally the hair queen!!! I came in for a cut and a style and I am head over heels in love with my results. I only showed her a few inspiration pictures and she executed my idea to a T! I made an appointment and received a confirmation email, so I assumed everything was set. When I arrived, the salon claimed they had no record of my appointment, even though I showed Vanessa the confirmation. Vanessa's response was, "I do not know anyone by that name." No apology, no solution--just shrugged it off like my time didn't matter. I wasted my day because of their poor booking system. I came in for a trim and long layers a few weeks ago & left with the shortest layers EVER! We had a consult before and I thought we were on the same page but I guess not! I'm sooooo sad...it took me a year to grow out my hair and for some reason the hairstylist went crazy with the scissors. A simple trim turned into 3 hours!! I had a haircut with Amber and she is amazing!! I came in wanting to just chop off my hair to a blunt collarbone length. Amber said hold on, let's cut it to a little below shoulder length with long layers since it'll look shorter when styled, and with face framing pieces to compliment my face shape! She gave me a blowout and it turned out beautiful and exactly what I wanted. She also gave me the perfect length because I'm still able to tie it up or put it in a claw clip! Everyone there is so nice, from the receptionist to the other stylists! I picked up a hydrating shampoo, blowout butter, and hair mask on my way out since I am guilty of washing my hair almost every day and using Herbal Essences. I have eczema so my scalp doesn't tolerate a lot of ingredients, but none of these have caused an adverse reaction! read more

I am extremely picky when it comes to salons and this place met my expectations. The service was great. I got a haircut and blow dry and loved it. The decor is cute and everyone seemed friendly. I'm really happy with how my hair turned out! I had a brown color before, and the color correction made such a nice difference. This cherry violet shade looks so fresh and vibrant, and the haircut gave my hair the shape and movement I've been looking for. Phew canceling my appointment the day before my bday scheduled my appointment almost a week in advance through their website so I could have my hair done the day before my bday. I guess they overbooked? They called me asking to move it to the day of my bday but I will be out enjoying my bday. Now the task of finding another stylist on a Saturday literally crying. I really enjoyed my first visit with this salon and they do good work. This was just really bad timing to drop the ball. read more

ONT NOT GO TO Celine for tape\-in or weft extensions…read more I originally went to her to have my tape-in extensions removed and replaced with wefts. After removing the tapes, there was still a significant amount of adhesive left in my hair. My hair was VERY sticky, yet she was prepared to install brand-new weft extensions on top of it. I was extremely uncomfortable with that and ended up going to another salon that same day to have the remaining adhesive professionally removed. For anyone struggling with tape residue, I highly recommend Line One removal solution. The other salon was able to get everything out in one round. There were also major communication issues with the weft installation. During our consultation, we had discussed how the extensions would be installed, but when it came time to actually do them, she was planning to install them differently because there wasn't enough hair for what we had originally discussed. Instead of stopping and telling me, "We don't have enough hair to do what we planned, so here are our options," she simply started working around the issue. I only realized what was happening because I looked and asked. A stylist should communicate a change like that and get the client's approval before proceeding. The biggest issue was that she cut the extensions far too short!!!! Once extension hair is cut, you obviously cannot put the length back. She acknowledged that she had made a mistake but maintained that it was "fixable" and was unwilling to replace the pack of hair. In my case, it was not fixable--I ultimately had to purchase another pack because the top row had been cut too short. Any experienced stylist knows the top row of extension hair is longer than the bottom row and she cut the top row way too short. Between the adhesive being left in my hair, the attempted change to the installation without discussing it with me first, and the extensions being cut too short, I unfortunately would not trust her with my extensions again. She didn't do the right thing of replacing the pack of hair when she admits it was her fault and it was a mistake, but it could be "fixable" but in the long run that would not have worked because the hair gets cut shorter each time. She said that's not a worry for right now. Umm you don't buy extensions for right now. You buy them for a year long.. She's not thinking what's best for the client or long term. Ladies go to another stylist because this one doesn't do the right thing!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with stylist Alex and cannot recommend her. Expectations My appointment was at 11:00 a.m. for highlights. I showed Alex several reference photos to communicate the look I wanted. I expected the service to reflect those photos and to be completed with appropriate attention to my hair and comfort. What Happened During the Appointment The appointment lasted until approximately 3:45 p.m. During the service, foils were removed at different times, and product remained on my hair while Alex worked with another client. After color was applied to my roots, my scalp began burning. When I mentioned this, I was told that the product "tends to do that." The appointment felt overbooked and disorganized, with multiple clients waiting while Alex also handled a personal phone call. The Result When my hair was finally dried, the style looked nothing like what I had requested. The highlights were barely visible, except for a light streak near my bangs. When I expressed my disappointment, Alex repeatedly told me to "stand in the sun" to see the highlights. I explained that I did not feel the result was worth the $285 cost. My hair still feels dry and damaged, and the color does not resemble the highlights I requested. The Salon's Response The salon owner was understanding and offered a complimentary correction. However, after this experience, I was not comfortable having Alex work on my hair again. I paid the full amount, but based on the service, result, and overall experience, I cannot recommend Alex. read more

Unfortunately this salon continues to remove my review, which makes the positive reviews hardly trustworthy. Karla did an awful job coloring my hair. I had tremendous trust in her as I've been going to her since 2020. She pointed out that my roots were brighter than my ends and we'd correct things at our next touch up. However our next touch up was even worse, leaving my hair insanely uneven. On top of that, she decided to charge for an all-over color rather than the touch-up I requested without even letting me know, bringing a $90 service to $175. I communicated my disappoint to Karla and she offered to fix it for an additional $200. Since both times were already a flop I let her know I wasn't confident she could get me to my goal hair and asked for a partial refund, highly emphasizing the fact she charged me for a service I was completely unaware she was doing. She refused and handled the situation very unprofessionally and immaturely. I couldn't recommend her nor the salon for the way they are trying so hard to hide my review. Hope that you don't have any friends you've recommend to her because she will speak negatively about you to them read more

I got my hair done by their new stylist Cinthia and I LOVED IT! For anyone looking to go blond for spring or summer I recommend her. She did a blond balayage on my hair and left it looking so beautiful! One of my concerns was further damage to my hair since it is very damaged but she was able to make it lighter without damaging it and even left it feeling and looking healthier. She also recommended a very inexpensive shampoo and conditioner which left my hair supper soft and helps repair it. I love it and the best thing is that the products are organic. I recommend this salon to everyone. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I cant count the number of times I have wanted to run out the salon crying because I got the opposite of what I asked for. LOVED Nick! He is hands down one of the single best hairdressers that I have ever had and I am super picky. I'm a woman who shows up with a different picture in hand every time I get it my hair done so I never have the same style twice. Nick has taken the time to figure out my likes/dislikes about styles that we've tried before and always makes suggestions to help make each style uniquely my own. He is a genius with color. He never fails to nail the exact shade consistently through my hair, which is impressive considering how often he's coloring on top of other colors. Not to mention the eyebrows. Oh god the eyebrows! I have great big Brooke Sheilds eyebrows (via the 80's) and the worst part is they're shaped very differently. I find it impossible to tame them so I've been having them waxed and I have no idea how he does it but he manages to get them to match! He is a god among men and if I was his type I'd marry him! We had the Mane Salon staff do the hair and make up for my entire bridal party for my wedding on September 26, 2015 and they were amazing!!! Not only did they set up consultations with me ahead of time to find out what I was envisioning, but they also did the same for each of my bridesmaids. Then on the day of the wedding, they did their best to make sure we were as relaxed and comfortable as possible and even brought the salon to our hotel room which was close to the venue. They showed up with plenty of time to set up and spent as much time as was needed to make sure everyone was happy. They allowed for extra time at the end to tend to any necessary touch ups. They left us with extra bobby pins and eyelash glue in case any touch ups were needed after they left. Additionally, I went to Nick before the wedding to add some color to my hair and he recommended a balayage. I love the way it turned out and will definitely be going back to him. read more

We took our daughter here for her first haircut and Casey did an awesome job. My daughter is definitely not a people person so of course she cried but Casey stayed very calm and patient with her and spoke to her in a soft tone the whole time. We actually had an appointment with another stylist but she was a little behind and I really appreciated the fact that she came and apologized. I also had my hair trimmed by Nick. He was also great! He asked a lot of questions about my likes and ways that I style my hair before he even started which I think is great. Not all stylists ask what you like when it comes to hairstyling. He talked to me like he knew me forever and that made me very comfortable. Im not much of a people person myself but he made me feel super comfortable. I had my hair styled by a very nice young woman by the name of Cinthia & I absolutely loved it. I was long overdue for a touch up on ombre & it was a very almost orange color. When i left it was so light & the perfect ash color I wanted. Not to mention oh, so soft!! She recommended some organic shampoo & conditioner, which i bought & they have been worth it. She cut off all my split ends & she did all this in under 2 hours. I Went in there with my very impatient 3 year old & she was very nice about it. Even offered her phone so she could play some games. When that didn't work too well she even 'styled' her hair while I was under the dryer. She rinsed her hair with just water to appease her & my little one loved it!! I may be somewhat bias, as I was sold immediately when I walked into this place. The lighting and colors were warm and welcoming and the music was on some sort of classic rock station (my favorite!). My hair was cut exactly how I (complexly) requested, with the exception of my stylist (Nick, I believe) suggesting I bend a little on my length limitations for healthy growth. The review I left about the other salon, is none of your business. They OVERPROCESSED my really long silky hair and dared charge me 700$ for it. They damaged my hair due to misjudgment and lack of professionalism. I'm not dumb, I know bleach damages hair, but OVERPROCESSING is something else completely and I think i'm doing the right thing letting other people know about my experience with them. The other salon I left a review about literally charged me 150$ to cut my bangs, after I showed a reference picture, and the results didn't look good at all. When you go to a hair salon, you want the stylists to make you look nice and make you feel good and happy, not the other way around right...? That's kinda lame and unprofessional of you to judge me and ignore my appointment request with you just because I was unlucky and had past bad experiences. Instead of treating people unfairly and poorly the way you do, you should find it in your heart to be compassionate and try to help them acheive their goals, instead of treating them the way you do.

I was so excited to get long layers and I regret even getting a haircut. Worst experience ever and it was stupid expensive. I literally drove 2 hours bc I'm stationed out near Barstow and we don't have hair salons on base. She called it face framing but the technique was awful wish I could have a refund. Not only is she great at hair care but she's also an amazing person! Listened to my concerns, provided me with her expert opinion and really came through with my hair cut. She styled my hair (bridesmaid), My older sister's hair (Bride) and my younger sister's hair (bridesmaid). It lasted the whole night and easy for us to detangle (with leave in conditioner & comb before wash) and wash (as normal), even with all the products used to hold. She was gentle with our hair because we have fine thin hair and sensitive scalps. Fair prices. Genuinely a great person and highly recommend.

It was one of those days when I desperately needed something new--and my hairstylist at the time just wasn't cutting it...literally! I'm so happy I came across Rock Paper Scissors-Chino on Instagram. I reached out to ask if anyone was available for a haircut and color that afternoon, and to my surprise, Nadeen called me right away and said she could see me in 30 minutes. I told her, "I'm on my way!" From the moment I walked in and Nadeen greeted me, I immediately felt at ease. She asked what I wanted, listened carefully, answered all my questions, and gave me her honest professional opinion. Seven months later, I still see Nadeen about every 6-7 weeks for color, toner, root touch-ups, trims, and haircuts--so I never miss one. Not only is she amazing with color, but her cuts are always perfect! She is a true artist, incredibly sweet, and genuinely cares about her clients. Nadeen has completely transformed my hair since that first appointment in January. If you compare my photos from then to now--what a difference she has made! If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. 1 star is being generous. I understand businesses have…read morepolicies as I'm a business owner myself. Emergencies come up and I am very disappointed how this situation was handled. This salon basically stole money and don't care about people or customers. I canceled my daughter's appointment due to her becoming sick this evening. This salon didn't care after explaining my situation. I didn't cancel just because I felt like it, I had a legit reason. I guess if someone gets hospitalized or dies they will still charge you the cancellation fee. Once I got off the phone with them they automatically charged my card. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card. Don't give your business to this salon! They steal money and don't care for their customers! There should be exceptions for certain circumstances and not be greedy. This salon is not run right. My husband wrote a review on his own account and I did my own. We have the right to do that. There's no policy on yelp who can write a review. The owner responded and is getting defensive, so that should tell you something.
