She listened carefully to my multiple concerns, presented great ideas and solutions, and was very engaging and professional through it all. I figured maybe the first one got lost in the beauty ether, the second one was during peak glam hours, and the third one... well... surely someone would call back. Alas, the phone remains silent. At this point I can only assume one of the following: They are so good that their clients never leave and therefore the phone is purely decorative. My messages were intercepted by a rival salon trying to keep me from achieving my full gorgeous potential. The title "Hello Gorgeous" is aspirational and I simply didn't qualify. Sadly, without a callback I will never know what my true level of gorgeousness could have been. I may sound dramatic, and I'm sure there are many out there that feel the same way I do when it comes to your hair. Don't give me that BS stuff about, "it's just hair" and "it'll grow back" because it's not even about that. So, for the past 15+ years I've been cutting and dying my own hair black blue. Forever devoted to my hair & style, I wanted some change. I was cornered to a point where I could not strip the blue black from my hair [without bleaching] and failed the attempt to dye it Burgundy. very upsetting after spending $$. And then I met Mayra. She was well recommended with hair colors. I showed her what I wanted and we compromised that if she got close to burgundy as possible I would be happy with any results. I was mainly worried about bleaching and how much it would damage my hair. Honestly, it did not damage at all. My hair still feels healthy. I was however lucky, it lifted in one time try. I have really long hair, down past my waits, so, the process took almost five hours. In conclusion, the results were beyond amazing! I could not believe she pulled off the look I had envisioned and more. When looking in the mirror, I honestly did not care about wanting burgundy color. I automatically fell in love with the shades of red. With that being said, Mayra is now my one and only hairstylists i can trust. She will make you feel comfortable and all your questions will be answered. If she can't do it, she will tell you she can't do it.
