He is passionate about what he does and you can see it in his work and the way he treats clients. Shane is the absolute best! He really knows his stuff and takes great pride in his work. He has but both my daughters hair and the have very difficult curly hair he knew exactly what they needed. I also had my hair done by him and he gave me the best cut I've ever had! He's got a great outgoing personality and he's very well versed. Further, he has no problem giving his opinion and won't let you make any major changes if he feels it's not what's best for your hair. He is hilarious and entertaining. Both my girls loves him too. They are 17 and 22. I highly recommend Shane when going to Great Clips in Upland! They don't take appointments but you can request him when you arrive. He's worth the wait for sure. read more

Took my 4 year old yesterday, I really liked the fast service and the check in but I feel it was rushed and why does the lighting in there make it seem like everything looks good LOL. Maybe I'm nitpicking but I feel if you pay for a professional service, they should do due diligence. When I was speaking with the lady I told her I tried to cut his hair myself and that I was gonna leave it to the professionals and her response was, "even we don't get it right at times" that should've been a red flag cause huhhhhh lol. I took my mother because all she needed was just a simple haircut she has short hair. Her former stylist from fantastic Sam used to charge her $150 just to cut and blow out. Another $150 to color my mother doesn't have full grey just on hair comb you can't see it. Great clips did an excellent job. As a mom of 3 boys this will forever be my go to place for haircuts. I love how organized they are and how quickly they get it done. I've never waited more than 5 mins in their lobby as I check in ahead of time on the App. I always spend well over $60 on 3 cuts but I swear it's money well spent, time is money and I always get what is expected... great customer service, fast service, and on point. Another thing that's always well appreciated is their notes on each client, I love that they already know what number of clip they use and what cut is always preferred ...as a mom of multiples who can barely remember anything this is also very much appreciated. While the service provided is good, the whole checking in ahead of time is useless in most cases as it's never accurate. Before covid, it was useful but, that excuse is wearing thin. I walked in with 7 mins to my check in time only to find 2 people still ahead of me. 7 minutes ended up being 20. Could possibly have been faster but one of the stylists couldn't keep her phone in her pocket. Maybe also an appropriate number of stylists on duty could help. 3 on a Sunday afternoon doesn't seem to be enough. read more

Haircut was ok! The lady who cut my hair was really nice. The only issue is that the employees are definitely in no rush. I signed in online with an expected 34 minute wait. They didn't get to me for nearly an hour. During that time they finished several people and after each person the barber went on a mini-break and did a whole bunch of errands around the store, which i'm sure are necessary, but nothing that can't wait until you take care of the people waiting. I was late to a birthday dinner because of this wait, which was nearly double what I expected. So I've been going to different great clips through the past so many years, and I've even left them for a barber as well. Then my barber kinda didn't work out anymore and so I began going to great clips again. This location is clean and attentive. They do a really good job under pressure (having a busy day) and are pretty nice in there. Anytime we are looking for a radical hair transformation we trust Brooke to take care of it. Our experience is always pleasant. For any negative reviews about her customer service, I can attest Brooke always has great customer service and treats everyone with respect. I have never once witnessed her be rude to anyone in the 15 years we have been to get our hair cut. I've been going to this location since it opened and I've always been happy with the service. A couple of months ago, there was a new lady there who did a terrible job cutting my hair and I told her that it wasn't right so she cut more to make it right, but it only got worse. I went home very disappointed. I waited for my hair to grow out some, so I can get another cut to fix it, so today I went back to Great Clips, mainly because I trusted everyone else there and I was hoping the other lady wasn't there, which she wasn't. I got another new person, but Vanessa (aka, Vans) has years of experience and was able to fix my hair. Sometimes it's worth it to give a business a second chance and I wasn't disappointed.
