I dont know about you but I'm sick and tired of paying a fortune for a haircut! I read the reviews and decided to brave it and try out Supercuts on 933 N. Shepard with Vivian who had gotten a good review. I am so glad I did. First of all I'm 67 years old and the haircut was $14, senior discount! I also got a shampoo and condition with Paul Mitchell products for a total of $28. I have long hair and its thick. I needed a good cut, not too blunt and not short and also contemporary not boring. Vivian showed me photos of different ways of cutting. She had me show her TWICE how much I wanted cut off. She was so careful and very personable. She has been cutting hair for at least 20 years and she is very competent. She's cool too with a gold tooth! A real sweetheart who keeps her ego out of it and whose goal is to make the client happy and relaxed. She conditioned my hair with those great products and it feels so good. She also advised me on how to keep it soft and protected from hot styling tools. A real sweetheart and very good stylist. Go to VIVIAN at Supercuts. Cannot beat the price or service. Ruby have me the worst hair cut of my 78 years. I brought a picture and it turned out nothing like I showed her. I get that hair varies. I could tell by the way she worked and finally bkew my hair dry, that it wasn't going to be good. She is clueless. Didn't listen. Argumentative. She offered to send someone over to talk to. That person, who never came over, kept her back to me and huddled with Ruby. They sidnt charge for the blow dry. I have been wearing a wig since the cut on 4/25/21. I filed a compliant online. Never heard back. I regret that I won't return only because Kelly is highly skilled. I hard trouble checking in with her online, after trying off and on for hours. Lesson learned: trust your gut! read more

My hair is thick, straight, and full of more cow licks than a weekend at the Lilith Fair, so the fact that these guys can even make my haircut look competent consistently is enough for 3 stars. But the fact that they're the only Supercuts I've ever been to that stocks current issues of Wired, Sports Illustrated, Spin, and probably a few others that I can't remember nets them an extra half star. Honestly, I'd be thrilled by any thing that wasn't Jet or Ebony, but this is above and beyond. The other extra half star goes to the awesome staff. They're always talkative, but not pushy talkative. They'll chat, but they'll also STFU. It's a perfect middle ground. Every single person I've encountered there is awesome. I would honestly give them a whole other star, pushing the total up to 5, based on the EXCELLENT music played, courtesy of each individual employee having their own Pandora station, but 5 stars to a Supercuts would be ridiculous, and I'd lose whatever credibility I had left after the Lilith fair joke. But seriously. Go get fro-checked at the one on 43rd and then come to this one, you'll see what I'm talking about. This place is the best Supercuts ever. read more

I get nervous trying a new place because I've had some pretty horrific haircuts growing up but I've been surprisingly satisfied with Supercuts. They aren't the best cuts and it's not really for style or to impress but it gets the job done to a level I can live with. Linda cut my hair and she seemed like she knew what she was doing. She was fast, asked questions, and did a pretty good job. I was a walk in and had no wait right after work. They offer the 10th cut free and give you some coupons after you check out ($5 off, $4 off, $3 off). Good experience and will probably go back. read more

By far one of the WORST haircuts I've ever had the displeasure of receiving. Don't go!! Save your money. Have your wife, cousin, random stranger on the street cut your hair before you go here, you'll end up with a better trim. So here is the rundown of what happened, and why you should never visit this place. I walk in sit down in the chair, and the entire time I feel like I've interrupted the employees goal is session. They were talking and making inside jokes the entire time and my hairstylist never really listened to what I was saying. I asked for a fade with a 1 guard and after she fumbled around for a min or so in her messy work station she finally pulls out a 1.5 guard and secretly slips that on thinking it will work. First the fade line is not even, there looks like there is patches of missed hair that just got passed up with the clippers. She also missed trimming the hair around my ears and my neck line. Had the "anti-gray" treatment for men yesterday. I have had it done before, at another shop, and was pleased with the results, very subtle. The treatment consists of finding the right color so it doesn't alter your existing hair color, only minimize the gray. They are supposed to choose the dye formula based on your existing hair color. Apparently this technician thought brown was close enough and I ended up having my hair dyed. It is quite obvious. To SuperCut, if your technician doesn't know what they are doing then do not allow them to work on clients. read more
