Soooo much more seating than the Santa Rosa location! Friday night became burger night and we tried this newly-opened Superburger. Two months and going well, so it seemed. Menu was the same but a nice addition, aside from the space, is the condiment bar. We ate more pickles than one ought but the wait was a bit long for the crowded restaurant. Nice way to pass the time. :) Friendly server checked on us often so no complaints! My teenaged bottomless-pit son ordered a shake and gave it a thumbs up! It arrived in the tumbler and man that was a lot of milkshakey goodness. The three of us split the tater tots/fries combo... hey...maybe next time we'll ask for a TRIO of fried things. Wonder if Superburger would do that? (I like onion rings, son likes the fries, hubby likes the tater tots.) Anyhow, it's a PILE of food and we couldn't finish it. Lastly, the burgers. You can't go wrong with any choice. Just my tip - their version of "medium" leans more to the "medium-rare" side...and "medium well" looks more like a left-wing "medium." I came in for a quick lunch on a Tuesday. I was greeted quickly and seated. A menu appeared and I ordered an Arnold Palmer and a Superburger. The waitress was busy but friendly. They have a large selection of burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hot dogs. I think a standard burger tells a lot about a restaurant so I stuck to the basics, a cheeseburger and Coke slaw. The burger arrived quickly and I was happy. This burger was different from a fast food burger in that the meat actually has flavor. They also had a pickle bar where you can dress your burger. The Coke slaw was lightly sweet and went well with the burger. I wish I lived closer, I'll be back. read more

Is the kitchen trying to kill this eatery? Arrived 30 minutes before closing ... my mistake. Originally not served what I ordered, then found that my medium rare burger was served seared well? Asked the server if the kitchen was angry ... sure assured me not. Then I remembered the last time I was there - the kitchen was dualing radios with the dining room. I thought I was loosing my mind. I have only eaten here twice but I really liked it both times! The first time my family & I were driving by & just wanted somewhere to eat that wasnt a chain fast food restaurant. I seriously thought I had already reviewed SuperBurger but apparently I haven't - so here it goes. We were real fans of the previous location. Every time we would travel out from FL during our LONG home renovation project we would try and pop in for a burger and garlic fries. So we were devastated when we saw that they had suffered a fire. Then like a phoenix they arose from the ashes in this new Cotati location. So now that we have officially moved to the area we were happy to head out to try the new spot. It has a different feel than the original since it's a bigger and newer space but they've done a nice job giving it character. We enjoyed what really are knife and fork burgers just as much as before. The garlic fries are, well, really garlicky which makes us very happy. Some may think it's too strong. We aren't those people. We had no issues at all with service. We were greeted and seated right away and our server was attentive and pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious! Their garlic fries order was HUGE and the burger was delicious as well. I had the Saint Helena one. Only downfall is that I called ahead and was told it would be ready in 15 and when I walked in I still had to wait another 20 minutes even though they weren't too busy. The burgers don't come with sides, however, the sides are cheap and plentiful. The milkshakes are to die for. Very unprofessional and disturbing especially when I'm waiting to use restroom. I continue to be disappointed by Superburger mostly because of the "cakey" bun and skinny tasteless fries. I had the mushroom and cheese burger with fries and my wife had the Classic burger. It was just OK. I find their new location rather sterile like a hospital. We won't be back. I don't understand the plaques on the wall declaring it's the Best Burger. I have now been to all three Superburger locations. The Cotati location is quite nice. They have a decent sized space that feels pretty open. While not a new as the Windsor location, Cotati is more of a modern restaurant than the 4th Street location, which feels like a good old-fashioned burger stand. I had a lettuce wrapped bacon cheeseburger at this location. It was very consistent with the burgers I have eaten at the other two locations. Consistency across locations is a very good thing. The burger patty is a good size and the veggies are all fresh. I like that you can go and get more veggies and also pickles and peppers at the pickle bar. I will continue to visit all three locations when I am nearby. Good stuff! read more

Everything so fresh and clean including the bathroom facilities. Brand-new decor and lighting with outdoor dining and space heaters for the evening. Close your eyes and take one bite of the food and you were transported back to the original superburger in Santa Rosa same quality and quantity. I come here quite often! Why not show my neighborhood burger joint some love. There's definitely a reason why people come here, the whole American burger experience. The classic American ambiance is comforting and casual. They encapsulate everything American in a bite, all burgers come with the fixings, the pickle and condiment bar is endless (so is the milkshake menu), they don't give you regular napkins you get sauce proof paper towels and lastly the service is really great, haven't had a bad experience yet. My favorite burger is the basic bacon cheese burger, I go for grass fed cause I'm a Californian, and my absolute must have to accompany my burger is none other than a side of tots topped with chili cheese and macerated white onions. Heavenly and not quite on the menu so just double check with your server that it's available. They also do dogs & The beer list is solid. Can't wait to go back! read more

First time in. Ordered the imposter chicken burger with mushrooms. Was told it would be ready in 10 minutes or less. 20 minutes later I am approached and told they had to put my order back in and re-make it and it would be another 10 minutes. She apologized and said she refunded my meal. I wait nearly 20 minutes longer. Another person approaches me with 2 lemonades. I say I didn't order any drinks. She looks at me like I'm crazy and said well ok. Then comes back a few minutes later with 2 large bags of food. I said all I ordered was a sandwich. She grabbed the bags looks up at the counter and said oh that is your order (that had obviously been sitting there for a while and was now cold) and proclaimed that "they" told me you were waiting for a different order. I took my food that was finally given to me thinking no loss since they had refunded it anyway. Surprise........ never refunded according to my bank. Sandwich was flavorless, dry bun, mushrooms tasted old with that fishy bacteria flavor. Honestly gross. Superburger is a nice little joint with good ol' greasy American burger diner classics and thick shakes. I got the double bacon cheeseburger with grass fed beef (+$2) and split the fry/onion ring basket with a friend. The burger was huge and filling, even without the bun it was greasy and yummy and everything you'd want in a cardiac arrest-esque meal. The fries and rings were huge and I realized the fries beat out the rings easily - next time just go straight for the fries. We finished our American dream meal with their double blended shakes, I got a peanut butter chocolate and she got a birthday cake. The PB chocolate was good, but could use more peanut butter goodness and maybe some Reese's in it (why not add another 500 calories) and the birthday cake which was as sweet as you'd expect. I only got through maybe a fourth of my shake before having to abandon it. It was good, but I was concerned for the blood sugar surges I was putting my body through. Would I go back? This is T H E F T. I wondered about this. First she "forgot" to give me back my credit card, then hours later I get an emailed receipt showing that the place helped themselves to an extra tip. Check your credit card statements if you use a card here. Who knows how many people have been paying extra here. I really hate businesses that steal from patrons. I have been a fan of Super Burger when they just had the one location, 4th Street. I would go here for their fries and shakes. Since arriving in Windsor...I don't have to go to SRO Super Burger. It is less than a mile from my home. Some of my recommendations are: Blue cheese burger,a hot link or hot dog. My choice is the Bacon Cheese SuperBurger...It's the bomb!!! First time. Read reviews. Was greeted in a timely manner with pleasant waitress. Ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, and regular tater tots. It is more than I'd prefer to spend on a burger but you get plenty of food in terms of volume, especially if you make use of the condiment bar. What's different about this place is that the ingredients are fresh. Freshly sliced it seems too. The tots were hot and crispy. The burger perfectly medium. Any reviewer who complained about the interior being "pink" didn't read the menu. It's their standard for medium. "Charred on the outside, slightly pink on the inside. *Unless you ask otherwise.*" That's what it says! So no need for me to ask otherwise, I was game for tender meat. The burger is tall, so you can't bite the whole thing at once. I can't say there was a lot of flavor, they let the ingredients speak for themselves. The condiment bar makes up for it, like the sauerkraut, more mustard, assorted peppers. What would have made it better? A little salt on the meat, a Cherokee Purple Tomato, and crispy romaine lettuce instead of iceberg. The bacon was thick and tasty. But I had to look to see if the cheese was there because I couldn't taste it. It was, and every once in a while I got the texture of it, but maybe it could have been thicker. All in all this is a straight up burger with fresh, unadulterated ingredients. I was impressed by the condiment bar. Clean with nice selections, and tasty. There's a red relish I found quite good. As well as the sauerkraut. I would return and consider experimenting. If you're not ravenous, two people could share meal and sides. I had plenty of left overs to enjoy. My friend Stephanie told me about this place a couple of years ago. I got the bills bacon chicken pesto sandwich, but instead of the pesto, I got the "gartichoke" sauce and I am completely in love with it Plus it had copious amounts of mushrooms which is my personal favorite!! I also got the garlic fries. The small is what I purchased but it was enough to feed two people. I couldn't even finish it. I could not imagine how big the other size is. They were not the best garlic fries that I've ever had, but they were hot and fresh. The waitresses were very sweet and accommodating. They took good care of me and even though I was given regular fries instead, they quickly remedied the situation. I was very pleased. The decor is between rustic barn and vintage diner. We were so excited to try this new place. All started out well. It was beautiful inside and our server was great. But after about 45 minutes and our 3rd round of drinks, I had to ask, what is up with our food? I looked around and the 5 tables that had come in after us all had their food and all we had received was a large order of fries and onion rings that we didn't even order. Mind you I have 2 toddlers ages 2 & 3 who are just over it and ready to go now, we are full of fries, we didn't want and it was over an hour before we got our food. They said the cook mixed up our tickets and comped our sides. Food that finally came was not even good. Just over fried really slow fast food.
