Walked in and was hit with the unappetizing smell of disinfectant. As I was reading the menu, noticed that music was coming from two sources, different music! Upon mentioning it to the cashier, she commented that the cooks in the back listen to different music. I would have liked to eat outside to avoid the smell and the cacophony but all available tables were in direct sun with no umbrellas. Also, garbage strewn around the area. I found a clean table but noticed that several had been cleared but not wiped down. A party of three came in and were told to sit anywhere. They had to request a table be wiped, which was done haphazardly. The food was okay. I ordered the Grilled Onion Burger that came with steamed onions and raw red onions which I removed. There was so much "sauce" that the bottom bun was soggy before the first bite. Had to cut it into small bite-sized pieces to eat it. Fries ok. Iced tea good. Too many better burgers around to put up with this place! Won't be returning. read more

OK I don't do this ever so let's start there. I ordered a hamburger with an extra side of ranch and a side order of french fries with another side of ranch. It was through door dash. When I received my meal, I open the sealed bag and there was no ranch to be seen. I then went to take a bite and put my hamburger together and noticed there was no ketchup mayonnaise or mustard on it. I decided that since I was now at the end of my lunch break and couldn't bring it back to be corrected in time, I would swing by after work and ask them to remake it correctly. As a courtesy I decided to call them when I was on my way to let them know the situation. The woman who answered the phone was so unprofessional it just blew me away. First she said "I'm sorry but if you ordered through a third-party delivery service then you need to contact them. " No, if I were to contact door dash they would offer me a partial refund which is not what I wanted. I proceeded to tell her that the 2 sides of ranch were missing and that the ketchup mustard and mayonnaise was missing and that I would be coming by if she could please just remake the burger and give me my ranch. I would've even settled with my sides of ranch I paid for and some packets of ketchup and mustard on the side. But no, she said if you come here You will have to pay for the food again. and I said no I just want the food I have my original food I want to trade it for the correct made item and she said no and that the best she could do was give my information to her manager who would probably not be able to do anything for me either, her exact words!! They must get a lot of orders wrong if they can't correct their own mistakes and are blaming it on a delivery service. Honey, that's why the bag is stapled shut before they pick it up from you!! LOL But that's not the best of it, I Gave her my contact information and she said "I mean, you're getting this upset over sauce on your burger?" condescendingly to me! OK at this point I'm like is this a prank call? I haven't eaten all afternoon because you guys made my order incorrectly yet you wanna blame it on door dash? No not going to fly. Like I told her, ranch is life, and unfortunately my worksite doesn't have a kitchen with condiments in it. So yes, it was a big deal to me. How dare she treat customers like that. I mean I feel bad for her bc she must have some real issues to think she can treat people that way... anyway, she Probably crumpled up my phone number and threw it away so I'm not expecting a call from the manager so I thought I would let y'all know. Doesn't even deserve the one star but here we are. This is based on our first time going here and we all know that first impressions speak volumes. We ordered a take out order for six people. Every order was done incorrectly. Shoddy. The added bacon to one of the burgers was raw. Shoddy. One burger was missing everything it had been described as coming with. Shoddy. I won't go into how each persons meal was incorrect as I think the uncooked bacon and missing toppings is enough. We called and asked to speak to a manager to see how this could be remedied. We were told over the phone by an individual, with no regard for customer service as the responses were curt and in the tone of a bored person, that there was no manager on duty. Shoddy. We just had an awful experience at Superburger Cotati, which we've never experienced before, and I think it's important to share...We had a wonderful meal and experience there yesterday and our kids wanted to return again tonight so we did. This should really be a lesson to those in the customer service position. We arrived without incident. The girl at the register (I didn't get her name nor see a name badge). We approached the counter to order. Our kids are 13 now and we have them do their ordering now but it takes a little bit. It's one of their goals. Our boys are autistic and we are working on them advocating for themselves, which includes ordering their food when we are out, but even if they weren't what happened is not ok. Again, yesterday there weren't any issues. T (one of our kids) approached the counter to order. He knew what he wanted to order. As he was starting to order, a woman came in behind us shortly after and the attention of the cashier went off of us and to her and began discussing her pick up order. The woman eventually asked if she was cutting in front and the cashier said, "No, they're not ready to order." I then stated, "Yes we are and yes she cut in front of us." We ended up letting her go ahead because at that point she was almost done and she also physically made her way in front of us. The lady came in and acted entitled and the cashier entertained it instead of having her wait since we were there and ready to order. Instead she made the assumption we weren't ready when we were. There was no apology for the lack of customer service. She gave us the whatever look. Ridiculous! Our kids wanted to eat there again so T began to tell her his order and guess what? A man came up and the cashier ignored him, again, and gave him her attention. WTH! This is not ok. We ended up leaving. Again, yesterday our kids ordered their food on their own and there weren't any issues. The young man was patient and allowed them to order. Yesterday the food and experience was fantastic! Today, the complete opposite. I hope the restaurant sees this and maybe they need a better solution for pick up orders such as a separate counter/cashier so it doesn't interfere with those who came for dinner. Better yet--bring back the servers who waited on you then this would be a nonissue. I'm not necessarily wanting to complain but it's important to bring it to their attention to raise awareness and suggest a solution so this doesn't happen to anyone else. This was my first visit since they moved location to the corner of Charles St. and Old Redwood Hwy. Did ownership change too?? I chose superburger because I have always enjoyed their lamb burger. Big disappointment- no lamb burger is served anymore! So I ordered the old town Swiss mushroom burger with extra large garlic fries. The burger was very good, cooked with a little pink in the middle and lots of mushrooms. It seemed a little small but since I hadn't had a burger in awhile, it was probably just my perception. The garlic fries had lots of garlic but were very dry unless you dipped them in ranch dressing. Overall my visit was a disappointment. Since no lamb burger, I probably will not return. The place was almost empty on a Friday afternoon surprisingly. Also, they still have the lamb burger listed on menu with Yelp so they need to change that since it's deceptive. read more

WTH has happened to SB? Couple of things, the flippin buns are too dang small. The Giant half and half (fries/onion rings) is a joke, used to easily be shared with 3 people now just enough for 2. Do not, repeat, do not try the Impostor burger, worst vegetarian burger ever and they charge $2.00 above the normal price of a cheeseburger! In an attempt to try and make it edible I added bbq sauce, salt & pepper, little mayo, nope, beyond saving, dried out and tasteless! Reg cheeseburger and Sonoma chicken sandwich were ok, again the bun is too damn small, just get rid of the small bougie Brioche bun and just use a regular large hamburger bun. $50 plus tip, never again SB. read more

I gotta say, this is one of the best casual burger places in Sonoma County. They have several locations, and they are all consistently tasty! My wife is gluten-free (celiac disease) and they always have gluten-free buns in stock. The bun is pretty good compared to other gluten-free ones we've shared over the years. I like extra gluten, so I get a regular bun and onion rings (comes with my St. Helena burger)! The fries are very good (gluten-free free as well, with likely cross contamination, but my wife is usually not that sensitive to it). My two favorite parts about this place are the BBQ sauce and the milk shakes. My wife and I usually split a shake (chocolate shake, with butterfinger bits). So amazing! read more

I had ordered the Chicken sandwich wasn't in the mood for a burger. Guy ordered a Ruben. My chicken tasted off- not like chicken couldn't put my finger on the flavor. I mentioned it to the server at the same time my guy mentioned to the server that his ruben was nothing but fat and gristle. who got the cook to come out and belittle me asking if I knew what Brine is. And that they brine the chicken for 24 hours. Didn't even look at my guy just stood there looking down at me very confrontational like because I didn't like what was supposed to be chicken that he turned into tasting more like HAM. We will not eat there ever again. If you are a cook and you confront your customers like that don't be surprised when they don't come back or when one of them stands up to you belittling them as if they are stupid. This is my medium well burger. Every single time I've come here, I've had to return my burger for being too raw inside. They don't know how to cook a medium well burger. It's either raw or burnt. I thanked her from our window and she said you better hurry up or your cat's going to drink your milkshake. The Burger's? Awesome as always... Fresh and just a really good burger. The veggies are fresh, and the bacon was just cooked for our order, you can tell. We have been to super Burger several times and this order is just as good as previous times. In fact I'm going to call it a little bit better just because of what we're going through. I was in route to superburger so i just continued to hold. Got inside at about 815 (when my to go order would have been ready easily) and ordered food to go. I got my food and was still on hold when​ i was home eating my burger. While i was in the restaurant i noticed the phone just laying on the counter. Hence why i could here talking the whole time i was on hold. So i guess they just dismissed me? To save the day, the food was good, but the service reigns poor. My sweetheart and I were craving a good classic burger and decided to give the local icon Superburger a shot. We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, and the half and half basket of sweet potato fries and onion rings. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very helpful and attentive, and helpfully got the answer to a question I had about whether MSG is used in their housemade ranch. The answer was yes, and it is *also* used to season the burgers. We requested only salt and pepper, no special seasoning, in hopes that would be enough. Sadly, we should have just politely excused ourselves and cancelled the order and eaten elsewhere. Food: 2/5 Our burgers were freshly made, on a soft brioche bun, with thinly sliced veggies, a nice condiment assortment and was cooked to the correct doneness. If you have no food sensitivities, this may be just fine for you. Unfortunately, even with skipping the ranch and the seasoning, my partner and I both had MSG reactions and were ill all night. :( It's a rapid migraine trigger for him, and causes my tongue to swell and extreme drowsiness. I passed out on the couch watching Netflix. I could feel the dinner we ate around 6pm still hanging out at 3am. I have no idea If the seasoning was used anyway, whether there was cross-contamination on the grill, or if it may have been in the onion ring breading. I'd considered trying their chicken sandwiches or tenders, but I'm now somewhere between concerned and certain they likely use MSG in their 48 hour brine too, as it's used as a tenderizer. read more

This Superburger location is in a small strip mall as you head into Cotati from Sebastopol and Rohnert Park. There's plenty of parking, though it can be a challenge during peak times as there are other restaurants and a laundromat to contend with. Lots of seating inside. There is a patio, but not sure if they seat folks out there. Food: Burgers! We had the cheeseburger cooked medium. One with cheddar and jalapeños, one with American. We also ordered the half and half, which was half onion rings and half tater tots (or fries). Food came out quickly, and was cooked perfectly. The burgers were a bit greasy, but it's a burger so to be expected. Onion rings were well battered, and were deep fried to perfection just like the tater tots. Drinks do come served in to go cups, and we appreciated the option to take our drinks with us. Service: Our waitress was lovely. She was friendly, took our order promptly, kept up with our refill requests, and ensured we had everything we needed. Cost: Two cheeseburgers, a half and half, two sodas ran us about $30 after tax. Overall: We can easily grill up some burgers at home, but on the occasion you don't want to, Superbuger does a mean burger with great sides and good service. read more

Superburger is aptly named, and quality is excellent at all Their locations. This Superburger location is fairly new and CLEAN lots of indoor seating and a few tables outside. Their Vegetarian Burger is sooo good! Their Links are spicy and juicy. Their other burger selections are all good and very tasty.
