As with everything else in NYC, it is highly unlikely that you will get good customer service easily. Not the case with these guys. I've found out about Superb Moving through a friend and decided to give it a go. Turns out they don't call themselves SUPERB for no reason. They moved me from UES to Tribeca in a day. No delays, no damaged furniture (and I have a lot of it). The guys were extremely nice and polite, with a lot of patience and care, not to mention how efficiently and fast the move was done. My family and I booked this company at the last minute, literally the day before we needed to move. Despite this late notice, the movers were punctual and professional. Luckily, we moved our belongings into the hall to help them out. Overall, the process took 90 minutes-2 hours. Granted, we moved within the borough and helped to lighten the load, but these movers were incredibly diligent and wasted no time. Rated the service a 4/5 because nothing can be perfect. The move itself went reasonably well. A few small things broke, and it was slow, but nothing terrible. That part was about average. Unfortunately, afterwards, I asked the company for a bill of lading in order to be reimbursed by my employer. That's just a bill basically, but with one or two specific pieces of information that HR requires in order to process the reimbursement. The person at Superb answering emails immediately became terse and defensive. It felt like, once they had my money, they were no longer willing to help, even with a very small thing! And mind you, I explained to them how minor the document I needed was, and remained polite throughout, but the guy insisted on arguing instead of just helping me. After a competent experience, that was really disappointing. Will try different movers next time. read more

These fine gentleman moved me from Queens to Virginia almost a month ago and they made the transition stress free on me. I got networked with Superb moving through a friend and I am very thankful that he recommended them. From working with David to my three movers specifically, I had no worries throughout the whole process. The company was professional and honest with me and gave me a great rate. In the past, I had always relied on the help of friends when moving so the fact that strangers were coming to box and move my stuff without me freaked. I had never used professional movers before until them which makes me happy that I found a good company the first time. With Superb Movers, my fears were erased right away since I was able to make a connection with there young men and realized they had good pure energy. For me, if you can read someones energy and verify that its good I can establish trust, so I was very thankful. From when they came the very first day to do an estimate and I got to talking with the young men who were doing my move I was no longer freaked out and I knew right away they were the company I should hire, so I did. I had met with three other companies for estimates and they had not been as friendly, thorough and reassuring with their energy as these guys were. I felt confident I had made the right choice. The day of the move went smooth. The actually moved me in two days. They picked up my stuff the night before and stored it in the truck in their secure lot at the business headquarters in GreenPoint, Brooklyn overnight. I had checked it out ahead of time, so I was not worried when I saw the security myself. They did this so they could leave super early the nest am to work with my schedule since I had to go to my job in the morning before they would arrived. The three young men who moved me were quick and very protective of my things: they made sure if I had not secured my boxes or items well enough to explain to me they were going to wrap it further and why. They were so funny and carefree while working, knowing they I was moving on my own so they were cracking jokes to calm my nerves and it helped a lot. Lastly, they were very timely, which I think is the most important part. They had my whole 1 bedroom apartment packed up in 3 hours in New York and unloaded in 2.5 here in Virginia. Even after driving 5 hours (because trucks take longer to the DC region from NY) they were full of energy and did not waste anytime getting straight to work and unloading. I fed them and tipped them well since they were so wonderful and I felt so blessed that they got there safely (since they did a long dangerous highway trip) and so did my stuff. I highly recommend Superb Moving to anyone moving within the boroughs or out of the boroughs. I know they are a great company and that they will do right by everyone they work with just like they did for me. I personally recommend Nenad, Dalibor and Predrag (the three guys who moved me) since they made my transition smooth and safe. My daughter and I hired Superb moving to move her from the East Village to Crown Heights on December 24, 2019. From the day I received the quote until the move was completed they were amazing. The movers arrived on time and packed up everything carefully and efficiently. They even dissembled and reassembled an IKEA bed with no problem. Super Moving made the move completely stress free. I found the movers very difficult to work with. They arrived 3 hours before the start time without notice. When the appointment was made the office side of the company assured me they would reach out 2 hours beforehand to let me know they were coming. They called at 11am for a 2pm appointment to let me know they were downstairs. As it was a last minute move I really needed the extra time and asked that they come back in an hour, they said 'ok' and since the door was open let themselves in 30 minutes later while I was still packing. This made my move really terrible. Once they arrived, they refused to take the extra items (1 box and 4 small chairs) although I said it was ok to increase my price. I also, just realized that the TV stand is missing a small piece that allows the shelf to sit properly. read more

They were friendly, quick, and nothing got broken. Though they did lose a trash bag full of pillows that I had. But whatever, probably should not have put them in a trash bag (easier to mistake for trash :P), and they were old pillows anyway. The moving company was very careless & broke the closer to my front door which they REFUSED to fix or pay for. This left the building's front door OPEN & unsafe for all tenants. I had a last-minute need, and the gentlemen at Superb Moving were able to make a same-day appointment for me and showed up within an hour and a half of me contacting them. They used three men and a truck. They took excellent care of all my belongings, with innovative solutions to a few packing issues that arose. Everything was quick and simple and they didn't even let me lift a finger. They even made a stop to pick up a mattress for me. The whole process was barely an hour. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the service I received from Superb Moving. Five stars doesn't do them justice. I've moved several times in NYC, but this was my first time using a storage service as well as moving. Superb Moving was extremely efficient. They moved everything from their own storage facility into my new apartment in about 1.5 hours. Extremely quick especially when they only had 2 men. I got several quotes from some of more known movers in NYC, and Superb was far and away the cheapest and most reasonable in their pricing for both the move and monthly storage fees.
