This was the first time I had ever used a moving company and I can honestly say the movers were beyond excellent. From beginning to the end, they were extremely nice and professional. Quick and efficient work! My husband and I had an original plan of renting a truck and moving everything ourselves! Wasn't in the cards since he got sick and we saw that we had a lot more stuff than we realized! I requested a quote online and this company was the first company to call! I needed a simple moving job. Was refurbishing my wood floor. All I wanted was movers to remove the heavy items from two rooms (dressers/etc) and take to storage and return them back to my apartment after the floors were done. We moved from a Manhattan high-rise to an apartment community in Edgewater NJ. We had 2 bedrooms worth of stuff including a bunch of large paintings and large framed artwork. Because our old building only allows movers to be working in the building certain times, we were a bit concerned about the timing because between traffic and unforeseen circumstances, things can take longer than expected. The 3 workers showed up on time (maybe even a few minutes early) and started work right away. All of our furniture, TV, and other large things was well packed in padding. The large paintings, large mirrors, and other large artwork was also well padded and packed. They also did the packing quickly and we were out of the building by 1pm. Unloading went smoothly, too, and they were very good about putting the boxes in the proper rooms. The price was right and the guys were friendly. All said, it took about 8 hours total. The only problem we had was 2 of our floor lamps had their bases broken in the move. Other than that, everything else went smoothly. read more
