    Don't bother - whatever money you might save by using this budget company you will end up spending on another company to move the rest of your stuff and on replacing things they break. They damaged my tv stand so badly the leg broke off (and it wasn't even bearing any weight). Their insurance is terrible so don't expect to be paid out for anything they damage. I've also never experienced a moving company that just doesn't take all of your things. Even things I specifically listed out because they are heavy/ burdensome (adjustable weight set, toolbox) and things packaged neatly in boxes were left behind. They did the same thing to my boyfriend and all he had was a tv, mattress and personal items. His entire move took one hour from start to finish and they still didn't take all of his things (and charged him the three hour minimum). Total scam. They also took apart some items (mostly lamps) and just handed us the bulbs and globes instead of wrapping them and taking them like movers normally do. They put a plant (which I also listed out) carelessly on top of my things so the dirt spilled everywhere and then they brought the dirt into my apartment. I realize they are a budget moving company but you can do better and at the minimum get movers who actually move your things and aren't so focused on getting the bang for their buck by moving you in under three hours.

    I did a state-to-state move and hired Sven Moving to move my belongings from my apartment and into the truck I had booked. In the process of opening the truck on final arrival, it it was evident that there was significant damage to a number of my items, and that the truck was packed very poorly by their team. See the photos for reference, but even this doesn't accurately capture just how haphazardly my items were positioned in the truck, the way requests were ignored, how careless the movers were with my items, and specifically, how very little regard was given to the items that were clearly labeled as "fragile" in clear lettering on their respective boxes. Specifically: 1) As mentioned, I took great care to label boxes with fragile items in them, as such, including listing the itemized inventory inside. I also made sure to set these boxes aside in a separate, distinct stack in my apartment so as to make clear to your movers that these items were all fragile, and to facilitate easy care of positioning them appropriately in the truck. However, not only were these items placed at odd angles and beneath other heavy/sharp items (see: H&M box, which which was clearly labeled in bold letters as "art," as well as labeled - again, in big, bold letters - as "fragile," as they contain expensive frames and delicate glass coverings), these fragile items were even placed at the bottom of stacks of items, leading to the boxes with fragile items collapsing, or being puncture through in several places (see: photo of my boxes of fragile mugs). 2) A very sharply-pointed, heavy, metal rod was placed at an angle up against my couch. This led to several holes being punctured through the upholstery. 3) Additionally, I intentionally purchased a plastic couch cover to ensure safe protection of the fabric of the couch frame and cushions during transport. When your moverstold me that these covers make it difficult for them to move the couch, I was asked to not use the protective covering, to remove the cushions, and to then allow them to cellophane-wrap the couch frame instead. When I expressed concern about the cushions, since they could not fit in garbage bags and I had no other way to protect them at this last-minute juncture, I was assured by your movers that they would wrap them and find a safe place for them. When I saw them removing the cushions from the apartment, unwrapped, I mentioned my concerns yet again and requested that they please be wrapped, and I was again assured that the cushions would be taken care of. They were not. They were placed bare, scattered throughout the truck, without any protective covering, and the fabric pressing up against dirty boxes and other surfaces. 4) Similarly, one of my two large, expensive wool rugs was not wrapped in cellophane. I had offered (and planned) to do this myself, but they said they could take care of it. They did not. Instead I found my carpet shoved in an oddly-shaped hole between boxes/furniture, kinked at weird angles, partially unwound, and filthy. 5) The back of my wardrobe was broken through with a heavy box crashed through it. 6) The wood of my side table was split. 7) The wood of my nightstand (nearly brand new) was split. 8) The wood of my mirror frame was split. 9) The seat of my antique chair was badly scratched and scraped up. 10) The top of my wooden stand was broken in several places. 11) The fabric of my shoe rack was torn/severed from metal rubbing against it. 12) The movers used one of my personal items, my white stool, to stand on as they loaded the truck. It is absolutely filthy and is now wobbly from this inappropriate, and unauthorized use. They never asked me if they could use one of my pieces of furniture to repeatedly stand on (which the stool is certainly not even designed for - I'm amazed it didn't break altogether). This use of my personal belongings is wildly inappropriate and unprofessional. Note that these are just the items that I have accounted for as damaged on a first pass. Because I have placed my items in storage for several months, I cannot account for the full scope of damage at this time, but it is clear from the above that this move was grossly mishandled. There was even an abundance of rope that I provided to the movers to secure the items, but instead, most of the rope was found in a heap on the floor, untouched. Only one, small band of rope was used for a few items at the very top. When I contacted Sven with my concerns, his response was hostile and full of misrepresentations and outright lies. For example, he blamed the damages on me not using purchased, professional moving boxes, when in the company's prep email he sent out himself, he even encourages individuals to obtain boxes via "the 'free' section of Craigslist," clearly indicating that second-use boxes are considered perfectly suitable by his company. I am currently awaiting a court date for the suit I have brought against them. **DO NOT BOOK THESE MOVERS.**

    Matt, Mika and Drew finished my move in around an hour and a half. They were quick, careful and very efficient. Drew took apart my daughter's twin bed frame and reset it up in the new place (thank you Drew). They alleviated some of the stress and anxiety I had with this move. The price was very reasonable. I gave them very short notice and they were able to accomodate me. Thank you guys for your help. If I move again, I will definitely use Sven Moving.

    Matt and Shawn just did an awesome job packing my Uhaul U-Box in the blazing nyc heat! They were on time, communicative, professional, careful, and fast/efficient. I highly recommend requesting Matt if you're worried about space - he was unbelievable at making everything fit into just one U-box. Prices were super reasonable since they don't require a big minimum like many other movers. I was able to get a certificate of insurance (COI) from them ($20 extra), and all email communication leading up to the move was smooth and easy. Highly recommended!

We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense

After talking to them, I knew I wanted to go with them. Their customer service, attention to details, and organization are 5-star levels. One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!

Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably. Also shoutout to one of the crew members who was on his first day. You truly could not tell. The whole team was professional, efficient, and just genuinely great to work with. This was hands down the easiest move I've ever had. If you are debating which moving company to use, this is your sign. Go with them.
