They ensure that I had all the details on the vehicle and the paperwork in order prior to my trip there. Once at the dealer, I felt like a true VIP, they took their time to get me all familiarized with the new options and functions of the truck. I'm a car person, so it was nice to have Mike dedicate his time to simply chat about all the in's and out's specially with an EV. After my road trip back home, I still needed their support as buying out of state for a IL resident appears to be a challenge for Illinois Secretary of State to process tags and registration. However, the staff at Landers went above and beyond by offering all their help possible to ensure I can enjoy my brand new vehicle. I won't be due for a vehicle for a while, but I'll be sure to always think of Landers and the amazing experience I had. I guess he was going to wait me out. It took the service department to page Mr. Employee of the month. When I told him what I needed, he didn't lift a finger. All he said was that I was going to have to leave it there ( he wouldn't/couldn't say for how long. This is a work ( money making) truck. I can not leave it sitting for more than a day. With three tired kids in the truck and a long road trip still ahead of us, we were understandably stressed and concerned. Our first call was to another Ford dealership in West Memphis, but unfortunately they were unable to help us. We then called Landers Ford Memphis, and Rose answered the phone. From the very first moment, she was kind, compassionate, and eager to help. She immediately connected us with Willie, who took the time to speak with my husband, provide expert advice, and assess the situation over the phone. After discussing the symptoms, Willie determined that the issue could be dangerous to the engine and advised us to come in right away. From the moment we arrived, both Rose and Willie made us feel welcome. They showed genuine care and concern for our family, including our three road-weary children. Willie and his team went above and beyond to get our truck diagnosed and repaired as quickly as possible. They even provided us with a courtesy vehicle so we could take the kids to visit the Bass Pro Pyramid while the repairs were being completed. What could have easily become a vacation-ending nightmare turned into a positive experience because of the professionalism, expertise, and kindness of Landers Ford Memphis staff. When I stopped by to check progress, the shop had all kinds of reasons why they couldn't even replace the O2 sensors. And afraid to even check the A/C (even after I said I'd pay for a new compressor). After my questioning their not even trying, I was told that the owner didn't like working on older Jeeps. I will Never set foot in King Cotton for ANYTHING! Note: A/C is still sealed and holding pressure. I have come to find the A/C just has a weak (magnetic) clutch.
