Devin Chiles is wonderful and he listened to me when I said the problem was the battery in my 2024 Ford Bronco. No one else listened to me and Ford.com chat was the absolute worst by not following up with me about my repair request. One phone call with Mr. Chiles and I could hear the compassion in his voice and he did everything he said he would do plus repaired my battery issue. There is still the issue of why a subpar battery was placed in my vehicle by the factory but for now, I can't say thank you enough to the best service manager that I know. Kudos to you!!!! read more

I bought a brand new 2025 Bronco Sport outer banks on February 13th 2026. I took my car for the first oil change at the dealership on March 26th 2026 (it only has 4000 miles on it) After my oil change I get home and my car will not shift out of park(the dealership says the two are unrelated). No one wanted to get on the phone with me about a loaner so I drove up there and I was put in a loaner. The tow truck comes and drags my car onto the truck the next day and takes it to the dealership. I was told one week after that that they had received all of the parts to fix my car. I called once a week to check on my vehicle and I'm told cars have been there for 2 months that are ahead of me. They called me on 4/21 telling me that my car should be finished by the end of that week. I still hadn't heard anything on Saturday so I called them and the front desk lady for the service department tells me they are waiting on parts? I was told they had all the parts multiple times. She says she will have someone call me on Monday 4/27. Tuesday 4/28 my financee calls and talks to the service department and is told "no one ever called and told me it would be done by the end of last week" by the same man that told me it would be done. He then says that the issue is every time the tow truck comes to put my car on the rack the rack is filled again (not our problem) but it would definitely be gotten to this week. My fiancée calls the general manager Taylor later that day and we are told that they are aware of the issue and agree it's been to long. He assures my fiancée that my car will be done by Friday 5/1. It is now 6:45 on 5/1 and we have heard nothing. We tried to call several times at 6:30 and have not gotten an answer. I understand that things happen but as a business you should be keeping your word. I do not appreciate being repeatedly lied to. On top of all this when I bought the vehicle I requested that they send the tags to the dealership because I was moving shortly after purchasing the vehicle and the dealership was much closer to my new home. I find out they have been calling my old phone number ( when they have my new one) to tell me my tags were sent over an hour away and that I had missed the deadline to pick them up? This has been the most frustrating and unprofessional encounter that I have ever had. They have now had my brand new car for 36 days and presumably have not even touched it. I am pregnant and this has caused me so much unne stress. read more

Was having an issue with vehicle and this was one of the repair centers my warranty uses. Dropped off vehicle on the 11th and a couple of weeks later, still had not heard anything. Called and spoke with Becky, who gave me the run around. The claim was put in 20days after I dropped it off. I could not receive a rental until they did what they were supposed to. So finally, that was done but they were requesting for us to pay $1200 (outside of the $2900 that our warranty was paying). I think it was a gimmick to get more money. We decided to just get the vehicle. Now we have to find someplace else and waste more time. Becky had no compassion, knowing that our vehicle has set up there for almost a month. I will not recommend this place. As a business owner myself, I know we are in the business to make money, but to overcharge or get over on someone is unethical. read more

Their service team will treat you like dirt. They're rude beyond all measure for absolutely no reason. You can even try to deescalate their rude staff, and they will continue to shout at you. Do not give your business to these animals. They will shout you down. Oh and fun fact, they allegedly don't have security cameras in their service department. So when they damage your vehicle, whether it's from incompetence or for fun, they will tell you that you don't have proof that it wasn't damaged before it arrived. So I got my oil changed by these unskilled jokers last Friday and they damaged the paint on my fender . I went in to talk to them about it and they screamed and yelled at me . Well today I was putting something in my glove box and they damaged that as well and now it won't close right . Landers Ford South was more then helpful with my purchasing experience. I know what I wanted on my next vehicle and after a long and wide search nation wide I was able to locate the perfect match. I'm in Northern Illinois and there are plenty of other Ford dealers between Chicagoland and Memphis but the treatment I received from Landers staff (in particular from Taylor Wondries and Michael McKinney) was outstanding. They ensure that I had all the details on the vehicle and the paperwork in order prior to my trip there. Once at the dealer, I felt like a true VIP, they took their time to get me all familiarized with the new options and functions of the truck. I'm a car person, so it was nice to have Mike dedicate his time to simply chat about all the in's and out's specially with an EV. After my road trip back home, I still needed their support as buying out of state for a IL resident appears to be a challenge for Illinois Secretary of State to process tags and registration. However, the staff at Landers went above and beyond by offering all their help possible to ensure I can enjoy my brand new vehicle. I won't be due for a vehicle for a while, but I'll be sure to always think of Landers and the amazing experience I had. Mike in the service department is rude and condescending. I took a new vehicle for service because I kept getting a low tire warning. I stated that I needed to have a tire checked and repaired. He proceeded to tell me about all of his appointments and limitations. He topped it off with a flippant, "You can take a vehicle anywhere to have a tire checked." I explained to him that I was aware of that but I had a tire protection plan through Ford and didn't want to void it by having a repair anywhere else. He hunched his shoulders and kept talking at me about the constraints and lack of workers. If I could leave zero stars I would. Went and looked at a vehicle this week and made an appointment to purchase on Friday when my co-signer was available. Reached out to sales person I had met with and got no reply. I still went up there at my scheduled time. When I got there I was informed the vehicle was sold. Fast forward to 7:30 that night. I get a call from said sales guy and he tells me the people didn't indeed purchase the vehicle and he told me he would call me in the morning once he spoke with his manager. We planned to speak at 10. I woke up early to make sure I was alert and ready incase I was going to purchase a car. Waiting around until almost 1 and texted asking for an update. Again NO REPLY. I called and asked for the sales manager. The sales manager answered and I explained who I was and my situation. He told me they had sold it and he would be dealing with the sales person for not contacting me. When asked if I had interest in other vehicles there I told him I no longer had interest of doing business with them. The sales manager hung up on me at this point. I think the whole experience was unprofessional and their needs to be better management and better customer service training for their sales department as a whole. read more

I took my F450 in for some service work on 20 Aug 2020 and will never go back! When they drove my truck out of check in area the guy hit my passenger side mirror on door track and ran over parking stop. I picked it up later that day. The next day I noticed that the old parts taken off my truck were in the bed of my truck. I didn't pay these people $2000 to haul off their trash. When I called the service writer was pretty unconcerned about it. Left a message for general manager and haven't gotten a call back. Again will never use them again, will go to MHC instead. I have a Ford Explorer purchased from Landers in 2018. i purchased the extended warranty and I called 2 months ago for warranty work. I was advised they did not have workers available to work on my vehicle. They advised I take it to their store in Collierville. I called and same situation. I called again today and same story. I cannot get warrantied service in my covered vehicle. I cannot make an appointment for service and was told again to wait a week and call back. Terrible service from Landers Ford. read more

when "Landers Ford South" was Country Ford, it was a better company then. I use to be in and out within a hour for a oil change. now when I go for a oil change I am told to drop my vehicle off and be picked up. due to a 3 or 4 hour wait.. im currently setting at my house with no vehicle til the following day because of a leaking valve cover. because they cant give a loaner vehicle "They have no loaner vehicles". my last 3 visits have left a bad taste in my mouth about ford and im a ford lover. im seriously thinking of switching to a different company and spend my money else where.... read more

Purchased a CPO Explorer in January, had a few surface scratches that they promised to fix, and had it put in the contract. Wife went in to have it fixed and some sales guy laughed at her, acted like she was dumb, and said she had no clue what she was talking about. Needless to say she left upset. I step in and start dealing with the GM Terry Pierce who promises up and down to make it right. So, here it is a few days from July and I haven't heard a peep from Landers Ford South. I purchase a new car or truck every 2-3 years, and the treatment received at Landers from the start of purchase has been nothing short of trash. After belittling my wife, I gave them a chance to make it right...they failed miserably. Do yourselves a giant favor, go buy a Chevrolet from Jimmy Gray. I don't really want to leave a rating. Prefer to post an observation. I went in to look at trucks earlier this week. We currently have a truck we purchased from landers in Collierville. As a woman, that came in without my husband, not one sales person came out to see if I had any questions. I looked around for about 30 minutes, I had a couple questions so went inside. Approx 7 salesman standing around together in the showroom I walked right up to them and still no acknowledgement. So I said I have a couple questions. No one, not one offered to help so I added unless your to busy. Still a pause then finally someone asked what I wanted. Asked for if they could bring the vehicles up on the computer that met specific things I wanted. Long pause...then someone said no probably not. I asked if someone could show me on the lot. Would have thought I asked who was next for their colonoscopy. Finally a gentleman took me out and pointed to a vehicle. I said, any others. He took me to one more, not really interested in what I was saying. At this point I knew I was wasting my time and left. I have negotiated and purchased every car we have bought in the last 20 years. Its unfortunate they considered a woman not worth their time. I wonder if that thought process comes from facility management? I obviously don't know. I don't want or need a response from them. But something for other buyers to keep in mind. read more
