Jean Myrtil was hardy enough to come to back of lot in cold rain. He was knowledgeable about the vehicles and able to get help from others if needed. I live in Germantown, Tn. not San Francisco! read more

The customer service here is nonexistent. Simple oil change and service I pull into a bay and 5 service techs standing around talking. I stand there for a few minutes being ignored so finally approached another service guy who said I was in the wrong spot so I drove to where he told me to go and again another service guy who told me to wait. Finally took basic info and now I hope I'll get my oil changed. Horrible customer care horrible experience. STAY AWAY. read more

Landers Ford - Service Center has been extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I drive a lot of Ford vehicles and when I need service this is the closest dealership. Seeing as how it's nice and new'ish and in Collierville... my expectations were high but to be honest you can barely even get an oil change at this place. My vehicles have been held hostage here more times than I care to admit because you drop them off for service and days later you haven't gotten them back. The oil changes aren't that bad but their "Quick Lane" is not quick. Expect several hours for just an oil change. read more

Very disappointed! We have used Landers Ford Quick Service for years. Recently, the quality of service has declined. On our last visit in September for an oil change we requested that the rear passenger tire be patched due to a slow leak. We were told that the tire could not be patched and needed to be replaced. Given that they did not have the correct tire stocked they said one would be ordered and we would hear in a few days. WE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. When we called- the tire had never been ordered. We ended up having the tire replaced at another service center. On our visit yesterday, we waited for several hours for a 10,000 mile oil change and service. The car was in service for less than 20 minutes once it was pulled in. THE OIL CAP WAS LEFT OFF AND OIL SPRAYED ALL OVER THE ENGINE and the tires were not rotated, per the 10,000 service. And due to a staff luncheon, no one was available to answer questions about the service. read more

Was looking to purchase a new Ford F150 in 2017 and saw a newspaper ad for some vehicles they furnished for the FedEx St. Jude Golf tournament with a specific percentage off MSRP. Upon my first visit, my wife and I told the salesman we'd wait at the vehicle while he retrieved the key. After waiting in the 95+ degree hot sun on the burning asphalt for over 15 minutes we decided to head to the front office to see why he hadn't returned only to find him shooting the breeze with the General Manager and another guy. Needless to say we left and returned another day thinking we'd get a better experience. A few days later we talked with another salesperson who informed us that the percentage mentioned in the ad was not the real discount being offered so they told us what the price of what they were willing to sell it for and left telling the salesman we'd be back in 2 days (a Friday) with our vehicle to consider for trade in. Friday, the salesman called stating the vehicle we were interested in was already sold but he might could find a better deal on a different one. Actually, my son called the dealership to uncover that exact vehicle was still on the lot available for sale. Needless I went elsewhere to buy my 2017 F150 Lariat!!!Unless you enjoy being jerked around...STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS POSSIBLE!!! I won't even take my truck there for an oil change based on the way they treat/deceive people. And from the other Yelp reviews I've seen lately, others seem to agree too. read more

Jerhemy Oliver (Service Advisor) was very informative and professional when I brought my truck in! He called me several times, notifying me of what my truck needed and when it was ready for pickup. read more

Here is the email I sent to the service director concerning our family's recent encounter with the service department this past Monday. I must let you know that I am thoroughly disappointed in Landers. My husband brought my truck to get an oil change in the morning and everything went fine. He went back with his truck at 1620 to get an oil change in his truck and was turned away saying that you all only took vehicles up until 1630. The website says you all close at 1800. If we were to go by way of the website, he still have 1hour 40mins. If we went by you non-posted standards of taking the last check in at 1630, he still had 10mins. Now what is so appalling is the way the situation was handled. You could say that I am only hearing one side of the story. In fact I was actually on the phone when he came in and I heard the conversation and the guy at the desk saying that he already had 5 cars. From a business standpoint, it would make sense to keep a tech or 2 a few mins after 1800 to take care of the customers for oil changes who have chosen to patronage your location, especially if they are there by the posted and non-posted standards established by your facility. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. Furthermore, the fact that your location turned away an active service member is also disheartening to say the least. Yes, he was there with his Navy Chief ball cap on. I am not inclined to rate your location as completely satisfied. read more

This dealership has some problems delivering service. I attempted to have 3 separate items looked at on two occasions and both times they just didn't do anything with my vehicle. And they didn't call to let me know they would miss the promised pick-up time. The service writers never returned my voicemails within the same business day, and they couldn't explain why nothing got done to my vehicle. I try to avoid superlatives like "best" and "worst" but these guys are REALLY BAD. read more

The service department has been hit or miss as to whether you will have a decent experience or a leave irritated. They can start the improvements by actually having someone ANSWER the phone in that department. If you need to call and speak with someone, you can FORGET it. Apparently they have a serious aversion to the telephone in there. Dont even seem to like returning calls after multiple messages. Sales team is good and finance department is top notch. Service department doesn't follow suit with the rest of the business in my experience. read more

After spending thousands of dollars on our car purchase, they told us we would receive our first oil change for free. After dropping it off and having the work done, they say you have to have "Ford points ". Never did the dealer mention this, all that was said " your first oil change is on us" then sent us on our way. An app was never mentioned until checkout. So beware when the salesperson says something is on them... just go to another business and not the dealership. Not that we mind paying for services, we just expected what we were told. Lesson learned from this costumer. read more

Service department keeps unnecessary calls and when we contact them back. They say they haven't contacted us. Everything was going good but now im seeing them change. Didnt take long me and my husband took my car for an oil change. They just let my car sit for 10 minutes before they said it was completed of services. And they laughed as we lift out as if it was a joke. 5 star went to 1 because of how I felt we were treated read more

Exceptionally courteous and prompt service. The customer service culture here is very good. I've been here several times for oil changes and most recently a tire puncture repair. The people who work here understand you're busy. I always call ahead to the quick service lane and all of there's a wait. No appointment needed for minor service items. read more

Giving 2 stars for the memories of days before this God awful Quick Lane fiasco. This service department used to be the go-to Ford dealer in the Memphis area. Sadly, that was long before the days of the Quick Lane that you are now stuck with for basic service. I stopped visiting them years ago when the introduced that clown fiesta concept because getting work done was slow as molasses going uphill for even basic things like a oil change. Got a new Ford vehicle out of state and had heard that there had been improvements (more staff, new management, etc), so I gave them another shot a few days ago. HUGE MISTAKE. Nothing has changed. Save yourself time and frustration, find another Ford location for service. You have been warned. read more

Absolutely the sorriest excuse for a car "service" department. Please note the word service should never be associated with this place or the the following folks that work in that particular department. I will recap the chain of events that occurred over the span of 4-days. Initially my son called and set up an appointment for 8/13 at 8am. During his appointment call, he was informed that a loaner vehicle would be provided since he was having warranty work done. When he arrived at the dealership on 8/13....he was told that there were not any loaners nor was his name on any appointment list. Luckily he was able to get a ride to his place of employment. During the 13th, there was no update/call from Matt (service tech) regarding the status of the vehicle or the repairs. Due to us not receiving any updates or callbacks, I picked up my son from work and drove him to Landers to see if the car was ready or at least obtain a status. Matt informed my son that it would e ready tomorrow, apologized and swore that he would call on the 14th with a vehicle update. Needless to say the 14th rolled around and no follow-up call was ever made. (Please note that my son and I made numerous attempts throughout the 14th to get in touch with Matt without any response). On the 15th, my husband decided to drive our son to the dealership for an in-person meeting in order to get a status. This time Robert (service manager) got involved and apologized profusely for the lack of communication (apparently Matt was no where to be found per Robert). Overall, Robert did not have any updates on the vehicle but promised that he would call my husband with the status by noon. Noon rolls along and no call (shocker). My husbands calls several times on the 15th and never receives the courtesy of a call-back. On the 16th, again there are several call made by my husband, my son and I all day long in order to get an update. Still no courtesy of a call-back or update on a vehicle that Landers has had since the 13th. Thank goodness we were able to juggle our personal vehicles to accommodate our son not having his car. The 17th rolls along and my husbands decides we are just going to get the car regardless of whether it's ready or not....basically take the vehicle somewhere else. We arrive at 3:30 and the car is miraculously now ready. We hear every excuse possible from another service rep. We retrieve the car, pay for non-warranty items and leave. We will never return either to buy a car from this dealership or get our vehicles serviced at this establishment!! I truly hope that the ownership of Landers or FORD looks into this unacceptable matter along with all of 1-star reviews. read more

I am not sure if I am the only one that is having problems with their service department, but nothing gets fixed when I take my vehicles in. My fusion has been in 3 times for the same thing...still fucking up. My now ecosport is having issues, not fixed.Who in the hell can I talk to to get this shit fixed? I may take my business elsewhere. I will stop referring people also if this is how you treat customers. Hell this might be my last damn FORD! Fucking sad. read more

I scheduled an appointment to take my car in for service on a recall. My appt. was 7am. My service advisor told me my car would be ready around noon. The shuttle service dropped myself and 3 other people at our respective destinations. In the 1:00 hour I started calling because I hadn't heard from anyone. When I was able to get in touch with my service advisor she was unaware of the status on my car and said she needed to locate the technician. Finally I heard from her and she let me know my car would be done before 5. At 4pm she confirmed the shuttle driver would return prior to 5 to pick me up. She said he would be picking up the same people he dropped off in the a.m. At 4:47 I called again to ask the status on the shuttle she said she would check and call me back. Of course she did not. I was dropped off at the location by a co worker, and how shocking to find the other riders he dropped off in the a.m. already there to pick up their vehicles. The shuttle driver called me at 5:36 p.m. to ask if I needed to be picked up. Really!!! if you had 4 people scheduled for pick up, how did you manage to not call one person until after 5? I attempted to speak with my service advisor before I left the location to ask about the tire rotation that was not listed on my receipt. She was on a call, and though she acknowledged my presence in the 5-10 minutes I waited she never finished her call or even attempted to contact me after I left. This was my first time using this location to service my vehicle and obviously my last. The communication and customer service was definitely not what you expect to receive as a paying customer. read more

Landers has lost my business forever. This is my third expedition and it is 2 years and 3 months old. All of my vehicles have been brought in EVERY five thousand miles for service to a ford service center. I have both the regular warranty and extended warranty. The battery is acting up so I brought it in. They will not cover it because they say it is only covered for 36,000 miles - my current odometer is 36,954, SERIOUSLY!!!!! What about the last battery check when I had it in here for service 1,900 miles ago????? read more

The service associates were pleasant and the doughnuts were awesome. However, they did not even begin to honor the appointment time. I had arrived early and was prepared for them to take the car at the appointed time. Twenty minutes after said time I noted my car still sitting in the same spot. The gentleman said it be be another 30 minutes. I was told several cars came in ahead of me therefore I would not be taken at the appointed time. We discussed the lack of honoring the scheduled time. No satisfactory answer was given. What WAS the benefit in making an appointment? Upon arrival, I used my handicap tag and parked in a designated spot. Upon the completion of the oil change, the car is parked at the far end of the lot. And , on my previous visit, they forgot to change the sticker noting the next oil change. I had to drive back to get them to correct this. Darn if it didn't happen again. Old sticker left on the car. I had to go back in to get it fixed. All of these things are not major (except dishonoring the appointment time) but the message is clear that taking care of the customer and doing a top notch job is not a priority for them. read more

Absolutely disappointed in Landers Ford auto shop!! Our vehicle is still under warranty and had the air conditioning break. They told us that since it was under warranty that we could get a loaner, but we had to push out our appointment until they had a loaner car available. When we got there they told us that they do not give out loaners. If this is the case, they should have told us that from the beginning instead of us waiting so long to get our car fixed. (Or we could have set up a different arrangement.) We're looking into buying another vehicle, and I can say we will NOT be buying from here. Thanks for this experience Landers. Keep in mind.... If you're about to purchase a vehicle, they're going to be nice and you'll get great customer service. But over time when you need to get that car serviced (even when it's still under warranty) they don't care. They already got what they wanted from you. read more

An hour and a half before their "quick lane" can even start on an oil change? They need to rename "The slow lane" painful just painful

Used car lot- The car I bought was dirty and reaked of cigarettes. I was promised upon buying the vehicle it would be cleaned up and "bombed" to get the smell out. It was not cleaned up at all. It was hardly vacuumed and some European leather air fresheners thrown all over the car was the extent of their cleaning it up. The only positive thing I can say was the salesman Calvin was very helpful. This used car lot needs some serious quality control. read more

By far the worst experience I've ever had with a service department!!! If I could rate them a 0/5 I definitely would! They were unable to identify an obvious problem with my Explorer, they were far from punctual with fixing it once I told them the issue, and then attempted to overcharge me when they had finally completed the job! Typical car dealership, trying to cheat a woman out of money just because she's female! Will NEVER use them again despite the fact that they are right down the road! read more

I do not understand why it takes so long to get your car serviced at Landers. Everytime I bring my truck to Landers it takes FOREVER to get it repaired even when I tell them what the problem is and what needs to be done they still take forever. My mistake is I keep taking my truck back. The only reason is because my truck is under warranty with them. Of course the results usually turn out to not be covered by the warranty which means even more money out of my pocket. SURPRISE, surprise. After my last not good experience at Landers I told myself I was not taking any car I had back to Landers but someone at Moore Tech highly recommeded Landers so I decided to go ahead ONE MORE TIME and give them a chance. The guy I spoke with at Landers when I dropped off my truck assured me a Tech could look at it the next day. Because the next day was on a Saturday I knew it wouldn't be fixed before Monday but I was told they would look at it on Saturday and I would be given an estimate on the charges. I gave Landers 2 stars because when they FINALLY complete the repairs they usually do a good job. I have one vehicle to get me to and from my job therefore, when they keep it for days sometimes weeks I have to make other arrangements. Does Landers compensate you after keeping your vehicle forever? No! But you are forced to rent a car in order to get to and from work because it takes them so long to fix your car not to mention the charges involved. The guys in the service dept. always say they will call me but they don't. I usually have to call them, leave a message and wait around for someone to call me back. I don't understand why a large company like Landers treats their customers this way. I promise, warranty or no warranty I will not be back. read more
