Charged $20 to plug a tire, I'd suggest going to discount tire. But the employees were nice and there was no wait time.

Took my vehicle in due to an AC drain clog. They took care of me the same day, even as a walk-in. I paid 10x less than the dealership charged for the same issue. Highly recommended. read more

Got into my car after it was sitting at the airport for a couple of days. Tire pressure was low on one tire and I had a check engine light. Decided to just stop at Jones auto on the way home to check it out. They added air to the tire, thoroughly check it for leaks, did a diagnostics on my car (catalytic converter). Reset the light and told me to call back if it came back on. Did not charge me anything, and wouldn't accept any money. Super nice folks! I am going to be a return customer for that! read more

I only needed to have a tire with an apparent slow puncture looked at, and my neighbor strongly recommended I go here. It's a small family business. Their work ethic was great. The 2 guys who tried to get the nail out of my tire just wouldn't give up. Tire fixed, and a small charge which I think was more than reasonable. I had to review this place for the U-haul service they offer. Limited selection of trailers and accessories, but their customer service is the cream of the crop. They were able to get through the paperwork and hook up my trailer in a fraction of the time I have gotten accustomed to at the full service U-Haul location on Summer Ave. I will definitely look to this location for my U-Haul needs first if they have the equipment I need. read more

Jones automotive is honest and skilled and great at practical solutions. My van thought the driver side door was open because the door was no longer putting enough pressure on the sensor button. Totally my fault for being in a rush and letting the door shut on the seatbelt buckle too many times over the years, dinging up the inside of the door. My car was dead this morning because the interior light was on all night due to he van thinking the door was open. I jump started the van and got it to jones, where they took a look right away even though they were busy, glued a penny inside the door so it would depress the button and voila! Problem solved. I asked what I owed them and they said "nothing- you brought the penny". Jones is a true gem! read more

Rented a truck for 2 days over the weekend and when I got the bill it seemed higher that I thought it was going to be. Contacted the office and spoke with someone who looked at my bill and the amount was accurate based on the miles I drove (99 cents a mile). I told him that it did not sound right as he said I drove 133 miles. He said sir the Mileage doesn't lie. I then asked if he was sure he was looking at the right truck and then he laughs and says you rent a such and such truck which is the only one we have that size. I was upset that this person would just laugh and be so unprofessional. I told him I didn't find it funny and he switch and went on a tyrant. He said are you calling me liar? I don't like to be called a liar! He's literally raising his voice talking all over. I finally was able to get a word out and said I never mentioned anything about you being a liar and that I didn't think it was funny when he was laughing. I then asked if I could speak to a manager. His response sarcastically he says I'm the owner how can I help you? Wow this man operates a respected shop in Germantown that has been around for 50 years and he represents U-Haul as he rents out their trucks. Even if I'm wrong about the price how is talking to a customer like this okay. This was the worst customer service I've had I can't even call it customer service. On top of all of this which I wasn't even going to mention the inside of the cab was disgusting there was a fast food bag in the middle seat with old French fries all over the place. There was soda residue and trash all over the inside. What surprise me the most was how nasty the back of the truck was. U-Haul is always really big on making sure you return the truck clean and the back swept out or you will be charged a cleaning fee. There was loose dirt and sand all over the back of the truck. All of this to say I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. I used to angry back at people who were ugly towards me, but I kept my cool and it didn't change a thing. I'm glad I was the better man and hopefully no one else's experiences this. read more

The team at Jones consistently exceeds my expectations for their customer service, value, and timeliness. I dropped off our car at 7:00 AM on a Saturday to have an oil change, a window actuator repaired, the AC charged, and a bad wheel bearing replaced and everything was completed by 2:00 PM the same day. Everyone I've ever spoken with there is friendly and helpful. Additionally, their communication is top notch. I appreciate that a local shop like this is in business and in my neighborhood. I have dealt with David and his son Dave for 20 years. I have always found them to be completely fair, honest and competent. They are men of their word. Also, if they happen to specialize in a particular mechanical problem, they tell you right up front and then have a list of others that can do the work well. I have had good experiences with shops they recommend. I also want to take the time to compliment one of their mechanics, Rick. He's been working with Jones as long as I have been going there and he is very good with customers and does great work. On the uhaul side of things, I have usually gotten what I needed usually when I needed it. They seem to always have a good selection of trailers, and trucks. If they don't, they find other places or will have the rental dropped off at their place. Love these guys; you will too. read more

Had a leaking tire scheduled service and took it next morning broke tire down and cleaned out debris and recounted tire and checked pressure in all tires only charged $15 also had low a c before took it right in filled with refrigerant and checked for leaks charged little I trust them for honesty and great service and prices highly recommend them as best around read more

I had a nail in my tire and it was going flat. I took it to a "major" tire and auto center, waited 45 minutes and they told me the tire was out of date and couldn't be repaired by them.... :O I went to Jones Auto on Poplar avenue in Germantown, Tn and was out in 10 minutes with a repaired tire. I recently had them replace my alternator on my 2000 Honda. They did a great job. They were very reasonably priced. They also recharged my died battery as part of the service, without trying to sell me a new battery. However, there's no sign telling you that this is an auto repair shop. However, all the parked cars around the shop give you a clue that this must be the place to go. read more

These guys are quick, honest, and friendly. Came here to get an oil change, possible brake pads changed, and a quick look-over prior to a long-distance trip. They not only changed my oil quickly, they called to tell me my brake pads were fine, and that my car was fit for a long drive. If I could I would give Jones Auto Repair 10 stars! While traveling through Germantown on my way back to Texas, with my mother and 2 sisters, we started to have serious car problems. Not sure what to do we went to Autozone and talked with the manager. She suggested we go to Jones Germantown Auto on 7595 Poplar Avenue as they were a mom and pop shop, trustworthy and did excellent work. I followed her advice and so very thankful that I did. Rick at Jones Auto Service was my first contact and after explaining my situation and a test drive/evaluation it was determined that my u-joints needed to be replaced. Rick quoted me a price and a time frame required to get the work done. Both sounded great to me and I gladly agreed to have them do the work. It was not long after leaving my car that I got the call it was ready . . . both under the price and time originally quoted. I commented on how fast they got my car ready and the owner said Rick put it before all the other work they had! Jones Germantown Auto Services is friendly, honest, fair and do an excellent job. They could have taken advantage of my situation and said my car needed front u-joints too. However, they did not, saying the front had already been replaced. In fact they had been by my husband. They could have done shoddy work, but they did not. We made it back safely to Texas with not one problem and all signs of bad rear u-joints were gone. They most certainly could have charged me an arm-and-a-leg to do the work. Considering I was more than 800 miles from home and no other choice but to have the car repaired, but they did not. The only problem I have with Jones Germantown Auto Services is that they are not in Corpus Christi, TX! read more
