I needed to get back on the road to South Carolina the next morning, so I was extremely stressed. I contacted Brothers Mobile Tire Service & Tire Shop, and they were very helpful by giving me Mr. Robert's phone number. When I called him, he told me to come straight to his location. As soon as I arrived, he quickly diagnosed the issue and immediately started calling around to find the necessary part. What truly meant the most was the kindness shown by his family. They personally drove my family and me back to our hotel while the car was being repaired. This was a huge blessing because we had a family of five and Uber could only accommodate four passengers. At first, I thought the car wouldn't be ready until the next morning, but Mr. Robert called me shortly after and said he already had the part removed and would have the car ready that same night. Less than three hours later, he was on his way to deliver my vehicle back to me. When I got in the car, it drove like new again. Mr. Robert was truly a blessing to my family. He worked faster than any shop I've ever dealt with and went above and beyond to help us in a stressful situation. If you need any vehicle services in the area, Mr. Robert is definitely the person to call for fast, reliable, and excellent service.

This is something I've had fixed before by simply replacing a faulty slave or master cylinder. I let them know this while describing the issue. After saying this was most likely the issue, I was asked if the clutch had been replaced. Later I got a call back and they said that I was getting good pressure with the cylinders and that wasn't the issue. Instead that I was going to have to get the clutch replaced. I walked back up there and paid the $150 "diagnosis" fee that increased to $187 upon payment, citing taxes but not mentioning the $15 fees added. I told them I was going to get another opinion. A mechanic I know that changed the cylinder last time took the air filter off and checked the slave cylinder and showed me that fluid was leaking out very noticeably. Steve's hadn't bothered to even check the cylinders or they would have seen fluid leaking out. I'm guessing they just took it into the bay and pushed the clutch and decided I need a whole new clutch. My friend mechanic ordered a $60 part, the faulty slave cylinder, and the car is back running just like it was before. So Steve's got my $187, but not another cent from me. I hope it was worth it for them to get a small amount from me on the short end instead of a trusted customer in the long run. Avoid these crooks!

Lucas first, don't top off fluids except washer fluid, only use manual tools and not drills, etc. the guys who work here have ALWAYS abided by my instructions without hesitation. They don't ever make me feel like a nuisance or burden and are always very polite and professional. Today was no different. Nick worked on my Mercedes to get my oil change done and then Derek worked on my new tire installation. Between the pleasant conversations, not ever trying to rip me off because I'm a female, and their overall politeness and ability to work on my cars the way I want them to, I will continue coming back year after year and bringing all of my cars here ranging from the more normal ones to the imports. They do have a pretty high turnover rate of workers, so just as I get to know one set of them, a new set arrives, but every single set of guys has been very helpful and respectful. I would absolutely recommend this shop, ESPECIALLY to females, because they won't try to rip you off like most shops around here will try to do just because they think you don't know what you're talking about and are an easy target. I also always bring in my own oil and filters (and even my own tires) and they have no issues using MY equipment, which many shops in the area will refuse to do. If you're hesitant, don't be. If you're also a female and are worried about someone trying to pull a fast one on you, trust me this shop won't even try it.

To make matters worse, they spent another 30 minutes banging underneath my car to finish the oil change while repeatedly assuring me they were "almost done." They showed me video proof of that the guy did my alignment on my car. They also showed me their report that I guess is electronic and it shows you where the car line was and where it's at now and there is nothing wrong with my car. I just assumed that this man was right I need an alignment it could cost me to go have an accident and I went forward but the only problem was he charged me $189 for something that was actually $24. So yeah, don't go over there. I'm not saying all of the stores are the same, but don't go to that one not on Germantown Parkway in Cordova.
