Since my father owns an auto shop back up North, I always come in with a set of very specific instructions, especially when it comes to my oil changes. Each one of my cars has a specific set of instructions I want followed because each one has its own little finicky things. Lucas first, don't top off fluids except washer fluid, only use manual tools and not drills, etc. the guys who work here have ALWAYS abided by my instructions without hesitation. They don't ever make me feel like a nuisance or burden and are always very polite and professional. Today was no different. Nick worked on my Mercedes to get my oil change done and then Derek worked on my new tire installation. Between the pleasant conversations, not ever trying to rip me off because I'm a female, and their overall politeness and ability to work on my cars the way I want them to, I will continue coming back year after year and bringing all of my cars here ranging from the more normal ones to the imports. They do have a pretty high turnover rate of workers, so just as I get to know one set of them, a new set arrives, but every single set of guys has been very helpful and respectful. I would absolutely recommend this shop, ESPECIALLY to females, because they won't try to rip you off like most shops around here will try to do just because they think you don't know what you're talking about and are an easy target. I also always bring in my own oil and filters (and even my own tires) and they have no issues using MY equipment, which many shops in the area will refuse to do. If you're hesitant, don't be. If you're also a female and are worried about someone trying to pull a fast one on you, trust me this shop won't even try it.

Mr. Quick Tune was honest and upfront. He said the manufacturer places dye in the system at the beginning when the car is built. Got a new compressor and serpentine belt installed in under 4 hours. I was livid when I got home and called the company that did the previous alignment on my car two months earlier and gave me a new tire and they charged me $24 for the alignment. They showed me video proof of that the guy did my alignment on my car. They also showed me their report that I guess is electronic and it shows you where the car line was and where it's at now and there is nothing wrong with my car. I just assumed that this man was right I need an alignment it could cost me to go have an accident and I went forward but the only problem was he charged me $189 for something that was actually $24. So yeah, don't go over there. I'm not saying all of the stores are the same, but don't go to that one not on Germantown Parkway in Cordova.

This is the most honest auto repair shop I've ever experienced. I've been bringing my cars here for…read moreyears. Harris seems to specialize in Toyota, Nissan,Honda and their upgrade brands. My daughter just had an issue with her Rav 4 so I sent her to Harris. He "worked her in" his schedule and diagnosed the issue in 2 hours. Unfortunately, it was a job he declined. The repair required most of the front cap bodywork to come off and Harris said he's dinged/scratched bodywork doing this in the past. He told her to take it to a body shop, recommended one to her and told her how much it should cost. He even tinkered with the fans to get them working temporarily so she could make it to the body shop safely. Finally, he didn't charge her for any of the time he'd invested. Ironically, she had brought the car to Firestone before Harris. They diagnosed the problem incorrectly, quoted a $1200 repair, another $100 in unnecessary 'needs' then charged her $74 for diagnosis. In contrast, Harris found the real issue, was upfront about his discomfort doing the repair and sent her to another reputable place - yet charged nothing because he didn't fix it. Bottom line, you can drop your car off with him and trust that only the work that needs to be done is done - no frivolous upcharges and add ons. I've turned 3 ppl on to Harris and they ALL have the same story, Harris is the best!
