Warning ahead of time...this one is long. I just want to explain it in detail. Wife has been taking her 2017 Toyota to this location as it was close, friendly and never very busy. All seemed well enough I never went behind them to check anything. A few months ago the maintenance light was coming on in her car, I again didn't think much of it, reset the light as she went in for an oil change again. Around time for another oil change the light was back, which made suspicious arise as to why, she also during this time took the car to Jiffy Lube who said she was a quart low on oil, it had to have a valve cover gasket and new plugs. At the cost of 380-400.00 dollars. This didn't sit right with me, as that repair for quality parts is under 80.00, so I looked, no visible leaks not running bad. To make sure I took it to Wolfchase Toyota for a diagnostic. Their verdict, two quarts low on oil, no leaks, no bad plugs, no mechanical issues. After checking the oil numerous times, no oil has leaked, burned or disappeared in over 1500 miles. I went ahead and bought 3 jugs of Penzoil Ultra Platinum 0w20, and 3 Toyota oem filters for the car at the cost shipped of 113.00. So I can maintain it myself, fifteen minutes of work to be sure the car gets the right amount of quality oil is well worth the effort for me. One oil change at Jiffy Lube was around 100.00, which seems to be around 3 quarts of oil with an unknown filter. I cannot say for certain this is the case, but the dishonesty about repairs needed along with saying they will top the oil off, which obviously was not done is enough for me to believe this is the case. Maybe Jiffy Lube should use a little cheaper brand of oil than Penzoil (if they even use this) and actually put the amount specified by the manufacturer. Not everyone can change their own oil and not all know how much their car needs. This has definitely soured my opinion of their business, but I am glad to have found out so I can prevent any real damage in the future. read more

WARNING: I received an oil change on 06/22/2017. The vehicle was brand new and it had never previously had an oil change. Ten days later my brand new 2016 Chrysler 200 with 8,000 miles on it broke down while driving on the road. The vehicle gave me an oil pressure error. When I checked the oil it had less than a quart of oil. I also checked the bottom of the vehicle and could see where a ton of oil had leaked out. I attempted to contact the Jiffy Lube shop and the staff were completely horrendous. They refused to tell me who it was that worked on my vehicle, and also, refused to tell me who I was speaking to on the phone. Finally, I was given the District Managers number, Jeff Cox. I called him 47 times before hearing anything back. He sent out the General Manager, Charlie, to come inspect my vehicle. Charle came and put 3.5 quarts of oil in my vehicle to try to determine what went wrong with the oil change. Charlie even stated that if the problem was a faulty oil filter that we'd have to contact the oil filter company for a representative. I told him that was ridiculous because I paid for a service to be done on my vehicle and rather than complete the service they ruined my new vehicle. I called Jeff again and he told me that he would put in a claim to their claims department and that they would give me a call back. Three days later, I have still not been able to get in contact with any people who were supposedly working on my claim. My vehicle is still broken down. On top of that, the store wouldn't even give me a refund on the $83 oil change. This is a fair warning. Do not trust this shop with your vehicle because they are completely unprofessional, unqualified, and incapable of taking care of your vehicle properly. If something goes wrong then good luck because it will be a wild goose chase full of calling and waiting on this pitiful excuse of a company where no one knows any information of use. My advice to anyone who has had a bad experience with this Jiffy Lube store is to lawyer up and get ready for a headache. -Oscar Segura read more

We went in for an oil change with a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The employee, Jason, said we need a synthetic oil change, which costs $67. Our car manual said it did not need this, and only needed a regular 5w-20 oil. Jason said that they'll only do a synthetic oil change because that's what the manufacturer recommends. Our manufacturer manual said nothing about needing synthetic oil. Bad service by people trying to take advantage of people. read more

Brought my car here today for an oil change. I was happy when I pulled up to see that they accept coupons from their competitors because I had a Valvoline coupon in my car. When I asked about it they told me that they didn't do that any more. So I pointed to the clearly displayed sign that said they did, and the woman said "I'm going to be honest with you, they lie" I don't give my hard earned money to places where lying to customers is acceptable. I've had a really awful experience with most of the Jiffy Lubes I've mistakenly given my business, from having parts on my car improperly reattached (even when they pertained in no way to the service I requested), to being charged for services that I did not asked to have completed. Not the case with this one. I'll definitely be coming back for basic work. They flushed my engine twice for me, even though they only had to do it once,. They were honest and very polite and helpful. I never really did any research before picking a shop to go to for oil changes, I just picked the one around the corner from my house which happened to be Jiffy Lube. The mechanics were very friendly, the service was exceptionally quick, and prices were competitively reasonable. I was pleased enough to follow up with them again after receiving discounts from them in the mail that only made the deal sweeter. I have never had a problem with them and the complementary touch ups they provide for free with the price of a normal oil change are hard to beat. I have stayed with them ever since and have never encountered any issues. read more

The standard oil change is $39.99. The vacuum job is spotty, they didn't inflate my tires like they said they would, and they try to sell you on things you might not need at that moment. You can get a coupon for $18.00 off if you live near there, or $15.00 off by printing something offline. After a disappointing attempt at Walmart the day before, I was really pleased with this Jiffy Lube location's ability to not only handle my oil change, but also recommend a flush that will help my engine over the rest of its life. They also checked all of my tires (including the spare, at my dad's long-distance random request!) and filled all of my fluids. They did talk me into a high mileage oil change, which I did need at over 287k miles, but were not pushy with any of the other services including the flush. Very professional and handy to my home. They default to the more expensive oil change unless you inform them that you're there for the advertised 29.99 change. I was told that they had charged me for transmission fluid - "you had NONE when you came in" - and when I informed them that that was impossible, the attendant suggested that they could drain the fluid out and not charge me after all. This is not a choice to make: pay for something that is both unwarranted and not requested, or else have your car blow up on the way home. I felt manipulated from the time I asked for an acceptable but cheaper oil ("What????") to the time I left and discovered that, when all the hassle was over, the attendant hadn't bothered to reset my oil service notification. I'm waiting for my car to cool down so that I can see whether or not I even received the oil I was charged for. I am not a happy camper. But at least the car didn't blow up on the freeway.
