I was thinking, ugh another uncaring vehicle maintenance place but I was wrong. The customer service was great. People behind the counter were fast, friendly and knew their jobs. I had an appointment and right away my vehicle was pulled into a stall and service began. About 30 minutes later I received a text telling me it was done and ready to be picked up. Again people behind the counter were on it. They saw me handed me the keys and I was on my way. The employees behind the counter and the mechanics deserve a cold beer and job well done. I have never had an experience in a car repair shop like I had at this location. The customer service was unbelievable as well as the price. I had to get a sensor replaced last week. Their price was a 1/4 what I was quoted at the dealership, and they got me in and out in an hour. Of course another sensor went out a couple of days later. Went back and was told my tire actually had to be replaced due to tread. Again, the price was at least 1/2 of that at the dealership. I didn't like my current tires and asked them to price a full set. Happy again with that price, but they couldn't find the set in their inventory. They gave me the next set up and honored the original price. They gave me huge discounts and provided amazing customer service. Even while you're waiting, an employee will say, "Thank you for coming in. We'll be with you as soon as we can." And always with a smile! They've earned a customer for life! Dropped my truck off for a tire patch as there was a nail in the tire, I pointed out the nail to the gentlemen and he said it wouldn't be a problem. An hour later I got it back and didn't notice anything wrong at a quick glance until a few hours later I spotted the same nail still in the tire. Somehow they had managed to not only fail at patching the tire in the hour they had my vehicle but they had lost a valuable stem cap which I had recently replaced. By the time I noticed it they were closed and not long after the nail ended up falling out leaving me with a flat, would definitely not recommend. read more

I scheduled another appt with the Cordova location because I noticed excessive road noise and vibrations after the last service. Turns out the wheels still weren't right as informed by CJ. So I've used DT a few times in my life in Colorado and Cali. The customer service was always pretty good, tire selection was ok, service times always seemed to be long. That is not the case in Collierville TN at all. Their crew is second to none and even though the wait time can be a minute they take care of you like a VIP. I had a tire blowout in the middle of nowhere on my way to Tunica. A Yelp search very fortunately led me to this establishment. I called them up, they had the tire I needed, and told me they could replace it immediately. They recommended a towing service, who got to me within 30 minutes (Barrett's Towing - 5 stars also!) and brought me and my car to Discount Tire. They installed a new tire immediately and I was out of there within 20 minutes. Impeccable, professional, and courteous service, totally recommend! read more

Service took much longer then they stated it would. They input my information under wrong name. They value customers that call in over people at location. I had to wait for them to take 3 phone calls before they would assist me. Then they couldn't find my keys because they input information as someone with completely different first and last name. Ultimately, making receiving my vehicle take an additional 20 minutes longer. They should put callers on hold if someone was in line before they receive call. For my first experience here I brought in a deflated wheelbarrow tire & a gentleman greeted me when I arrived. He took it from me and determined that there was no way to inflate it, it was super dead. He told me where I could but a replacement, Tractor Supply, and offered t mount it for free. He saved me some bucks and pleasantly mounted the new tire on my existing rim, cool. My beloved is going to need 4 new tires on her toy ('97 Miata) that she just took out of mothballs to get it ready for the beach. He gave me a price that works out with discounts and cash back to just kve $50 per tire, crazy!! We will be getting those very soon when it gets back from the shop. The manager Chris is awesome and will do everything possible to get you a good price for great work plus Clatlytin is is great guy with exemplary attitude amd us a real professional. I've had a good tire experience with them previously but today was an emergency. These guys are terrific!! They fix flats for free and I had a HUGE screw in my right rear tire that I had purt air into in Pirrsburgh 6 days ago. I got lucky!! They even let me continue t run errands until they could take it in, because getting traction while they're fixing the flat. This is the only place to do tires, really super customer centric operation!! They got me in and out on a frantic day without a big whole in my schedule and I am feeling safer and more confident with my next 350+ mile after hours trip through long stretches of country where you don't want to break down :-) queue the deliverance music LOL They have big comfy chairs in the waiting area with a fridge full of Crystal spring water (my favorite over my #2 Fiji) and an assortment of k-cup coffees, mostly Donit Shop with no hazelnut because Chris is allergic. I know they should have Dunkin but not everyone is perfect :-) Did I mention they have complimentary tire garages and pens at the front counter, no purchase necessary. Military discount depends on the brand of tire but Chris will get you thr best possible deal. I highly recommend giving these guys s shot st your tire business, they'll make sure that you're glad they did. read more

I was in from out of town and ended up getting a flat tire. I was training for my new job for the week and on the last day I had a screw on the side that couldn't be patched. I trained till 5:30pm and they closed at 6. I rushed to get my tire taken off and to the shop by 6 and made it by 5:50. They didn't have the exact tire in stock but one super close. They stayed late to fix my tire within 25 minutes and had me out the door. Super pleased with their work. The young kid who fixed my tire was just super happy to fix it for me. While I was there a very rude customer came in and was the rudest and that's me being kind with my words. When I say the young man that was working with him was just the most calm and professional. Recently came for a flat tire repair and rotation and balance. Love that this location is open until 6 because it means I can go after work on a weekday. They were very busy when I came but I had made an appointment and it only took an hour, which they let me know when I got there. I would definitely recommend making an appointment over a walk in, or just planning on dropping you car off in the morning for the day. They were behind but like I said, with the appointment there were no issues. The tires I have on my car were purchased from a different Discount Tire location but the whole thing was free. Fantastic Experience! 10 STARS! After Thanksgiving my family and I were headed back to Camp Lejeune, NC where I am currently stationed. The night before our drive back while packing (@10:30p) I noticed the back right tire flat as a pancake (nail right through the tread). We got to discount tire right as they opened the next morning and Adam met us at our vehicle with a smile and a handshake. He got us in and out in less than 15min! The mechanic staff were awesome and everyone was extremely nice, welcoming, and professional. The best part, they were lighting fast. It was a 3 hour wait for tire rotation, on a walk in. Geez. That's long. It was during lunch so maybe the crew goes to eat. Idk. They had lots of customers, like all discount tires I've ever been to, so I guess they're doing something right. There was a sign that said the wait time is 30% shorter if you book in advance online. So that'd be only a 2 hour wait. [insert crickets chirping] They have free WiFi which is nice for folks stuck there like me. There's also a Walmart across the street and a Wendy's close by both with free WiFi to help kill the time. They told me I should have replaced both tires when I bought a new tire for an irreparable flat I had just a month ago. But the discount tire store I bought the new tire from had told me I didn't need to do that when I asked them. They said only if it was a 4 wheel drive is that recommended because it could mess up the engine or something. The guys here however told me the car could pull with different tread depth. Idk. Pretty confusing advice. It's a pretty new car so it would suck to have to start replacing newish tires. I like discount tire generally because of the free rotation and flat repairs. Quiet honestly the best customer experience I've had in awhile. My wife's Infiniti's low tire warning came on, and checking at home, I found she had picked up a nail. Visiting Discount Tire, I had an appointment for 4:45PM. They got me in at 4:46PM and around 5:12PM, Asa came around and gave me my wheel lock key back and told me I was completely ready to go. He told me what the problem was, how he fixed it and how he checked it to make sure it was sealed properly. Extremely thorough, very competent and timely, Asa and Discount Tire really rocks!
