Today, I took the Wagoneer S for a 12pm appointment after experiencing electrical system failure late last week...there was no available technician and no estimate on when I could expect to get my car back. The dealership had no loaners available even though they sold the Jeep Wave program as a perk. I took my car to Wolfchase Chrysler Jeep Dodge. The receptionist was pleasant and even had sympathy/empathy for the situation...nobody wants to drive a car gone rogue. She immediately plugged into the car's port for diagnostics and took down notes about what I'd experienced. My husband and I have purchase 4 vehicles from Collierville CDJR in the past 8 years and managed all our vehicle service there. We will NOT go back. If I were you, I'd spend your money elsewhere. This is the second time I've had issues from the so-called 'Service' department at this dealership. Several years ago, I had coil pack go bad on one cylinder and made an appointment, since driving around on 7 cylinders is not a smart thing to do. Long story short, when I showed up only then I was I told that they didn't know when they could get to it. It would be "at least a week" before they could event look at it. This was after making an appointment! I took it to another dealership and the work was done as I expected - not only same day, but within 2 hours. I still had that vehicle last year and was contacted by the Collierville CDJR sales team to see if I wanted to trade up. After telling them I'd NEVER be back there, I was assured that all of the service dept issues were taken care of. I traded up to a very expensive, 2025 brand new vehicle from this dealership. After experiencing drivetrain issues on the IN WARRANTY vehicle several times in the last week, I called back to the service dept. They are now back to the same song and dance - "at least a week before we can look at it." (That fix by the owner surely didn't last long) Screw me over once, Collierville CDJR shame on you. Terrible, unorganized, wasteful experience . Took my car for a simple oil change and to get my tires rotated . Left the dealership and discovered a clanking noise coming from underneath when I accelerate past a certain speed . Had a blowout immediately after. Discovered loose screws hanging from my shield, which was not damaged before I took it to dodge. Just because I'm a woman, it does not mean I'm an imbecile. I take care of my car and know enough about my car. Dodge caused damages to my car and when I took it back to them, had the nerve to try to price a repair for me to pay due to something they did. I already paid $130 for the initial service and $300 for the new tire. I will not be going back and would not recommend going to them unless you want a rushed job done. This is the worst dealership ever. I brought my Chrysler mini van in for a scheduled appointment on 11/14/2025 because I had a P0016 code which was a sensor. It took them until Thursday the next week to even look at it. I finally got my car back on 11/21 after a $650ish sensor replacement. I drive my van for 1 1/2 weeks and the check engine light comes on again with the exact same code. When I went to the website today to schedule an appointment, the earliest available was 12/22 - over 2 weeks before it can be seen for a repair they made already that failed. Because of this dealership, we will NEVER purchase another Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicle again, We have purchased 2 Jeep Wranglers, 3 Jeep Grand Cherokees and the Chrsyler minivan in the past 20 years (all new, not used). Bought a new 4 XE July 1st. The next day, a warning light came on about a failure in the hybrid electrical system supposedly ordered a part. It's two months later now my check engine light is on as well. It's nearly impossible to get a call back. The salesman has basically ghosted me and now I'm stuck with a car that I can't let my family in because I don't know when it's going to not work. I'm 65 years old and this was the worst dealership experience of my life. I was getting my car repaired here after an attempted theft (I was passing through from out of town and got hit.) The repair work they could do on my car was completed promptly and efficiently. But then they had to order parts for the body shop down the road and it was a nightmare of poor communications. Yes, to be fair, the CDK global hack complicated the situation, but that hack did not prevent people from picking up the phone and actually answering it, returning text messages, or (God forbid) calling me back. I resorted to calling a service writer named Zac who was helpful. He would actually communicate with me, then put me on hold for 10+ minutes while he hunted down the service or parts manager for answers. Less than 5 minutes later the very rude woman who did the intake under the awning came to tell me that they no longer had the part in stock. No apologies, no plan b, just oh well, you're SOL. I had sacrificed a day of work to deal with this issue and now they've given my part away to someone else. Purchased a 2018 RAM 2500 on 4/07/23 for my business. Immediately started having problems with the vehicle. On 4/09/23 it wouldn't start. Had to replace starter. I paid $175 tow back to them and $375 in repairs, which they said warranty is 50/50 parts and labor. On 4/14/23 check engine light and transmission over heating lights both came on. I paniced...took truck back to be checked out. They told me it needs a transmission now. I spoke with the Service manager Bennett a couple times about finding a transmission but he says he's looking for one. Not sure what's going on here but we seem to have a lot of problems here. One time we came for an oil change and the glove compartment box had been pulled out and left on the floor. This most recent time an oil change and tire rotation took over a day without any notification and when we washed the car the next day we found one of the tires was missing a lug nut. We bought a deal at this location where you pay a certain amount for 4 and I don't think we even bothered to finish them. I am the owner of a RAM 1500, bought at this dealership. Last Sunday, one cylinder out of 8 started misfiring. I called the service department on Monday the 18th and was told to bring it in today (Thursday) at 8 pm. When I asked how long it would take I was told it would be "about two hours before we can look at it." That seemed sort of lousy for an APPOINTMENT for service, but I forgive a lot these days. Today when I brought the vehicle in, I was told I had to leave it for two to three WEEKS before they could look at it. I reminded him I had an appointment that I'd already waited three days for. He never looked at the computer, asked my name OR apologized. He said even though I was told three days ago to be there at 8 am today, I'd still need to leave it for 2 to 3 weeks. I told him I'd never been told *that* s**t when I called and if I was going to have to leave it for 2-3 weeks, why the 3 day delay? He then told me the service manager "quit yesterday" (not MY problem - AT ALL) and my reply was, "Yeah. Well, I guess I need to QUIT RAM." As I walked out, I heard him say, "Okay." But what if I don't like coffee... no worries you can pay at the vending machine for a snack. But if you only have cash on you good luck. The waiting are is loud. On September 14,2022 I called Dodge Jeep in Collierville, TN and asked them what's the latest model vehicle they will service. A lady answered in the service department, and she said no later than 2008. I drove my car to the service department and informed Chad Johnson that I needed a timing change. I also asked him if the tensioners and gaskets were included in the service. He said no but they will check them to see if they are bad and let me know. Chad stated the timing change would be $1990 plus taxes. Then he asked if there was anything else, I needed them to check. I simply stated NO. On September 21st at 3:33pm, Chad texted me stating I needed both fuel pumps $1399.95 and a timing chain $2650.00. First, I was confused because I told him I didn't want him to service nothing but the timing chain. Secondly, both of those fuel pumps on my car were brand new. I just had the service done. On top of that lets remember, I drove the car to the lot and into the service garage, so the fuel pumps were working. Also, I noticed the price of the timing chain increased by $650. So, I immediately called him and told him both of those pumps were new. I added my father to the call to verify. Chad then stated, ok I'll check and let you know. Now this should have been a red flag for me. Why would you text me quoting charges for services if you never checked or had proof that was the problem? Later, I received a text that stated the timing chain and some tensioners total and a pigtail replacement for the fuel pump that he shouldn't have touched... but I just wanted my car serviced and returned so I told him to do the work. He stated he would call me back later. I didn't hear from him that day nor the next. My boyfriend called and spoke with Bennett and he stated the car was finished a day or so ago. We went to pick my car up. I got home parked in the garage and the next day I noticed oil in the garage. I assume it was just a spill that the dealership didn't clean up and it was just falling off the frame. The next day or so we cleaned off the motor and places where the oil was residing. So, we could check later to see if the parts were leaking or if it was just oil sitting from the work. Sunday, Nov. 13th, I went to Firestone to get new tires. The master mechanic Freddie called me back to show me where my car had an oil leak. Once he told me it was the timing chain cover and the valve control cover, I pulled out my receipt from Dodge and showed him the work I just paid $3400. He looked at the excess sealant all over the parts and asked me," you said Dodge did this?" I stated yes. He said this is very unprofessional work, I've done several of these and my work has never looked like this. He also advised me to take it back to them because I should have a warranty. There's no need to charge you to fix something, you've already paid for and have a warranty. He also allowed me to take pictures and videos of the poor job and leaks to show Dodge. If you're ever in Southaven, MS and need oil change, tires or auto care, etc. Please go with Firestone to the Town Loop and ask for Deandre & Freddie. I'd recommend those guys to anyone. Monday morning, I called Dodge and asked Darry or Doug the owners. The guy Bennett stated they weren't in. I explained what's was going on and he said to bring it in and speak with Chad Johnson. It should be a warranty. I advised him I would bring it in tomorrow. First thing Nov. 15 around 7am, I drove my car to Collierville Chrysler Jeep and spoke with Chad. I explained to Chad what was going on and that I had paperwork and pictures showing the car was leaking oil from where I paid them to do work. Chad was very dismissive. I told him I have pictures of the work and I am very unsatisfied with the very unprofessional work. If I wanted shade tree mechanic work, I would've gone to a shade tree and paid shade tree prices. Chad stated we are very professional; we are the best in the city. I then explained to Chad, how sealant was oozing out of the cover, screws and gaskets. He stated its supposed to look like that, the more sealant the better the seal. I then asked if it couldn't be cleaned up afterwards? Chad stated he would have his mechanic look for the leak and let me know. We left, around 3:02pm, Chad text me stating it was the oil cooler leaking and running down the backside and tracing around the pan to make it look like its leaking. Oil cooler $1099.95 plus tax. I called Chad to inform him that the oil cooler has already been replaced with a Mopar part. Secondly, Firestone performed an oil leak detection w/dye on Nov. 13th and documented timing chain cover, leaking oil. Valve covers need replacing, leaking. I explained to Chad the oil cooler was partially new from Mopar and that I have paperwork cleanup to a year or more where I received oil changes and inspections, and I didn't have any leaks nor problems with the oil cooler. I took my car to Collierville Chrysler Doge Jeep Ram dealership for a recall of ignition switch. They worked on the switch and told me the car was ready. After I picked the car up, I noticed the ignition key was "feeling rough" to turn on or turn off the car. I called them back and they said to bring it back and we will look at it. I dropped the car off over night and the next day they told me it was ready for pick up. the key is still feeling the same and they paperwork they gave me was a copy of the original receipt with the same dates that was Friday before (when I dropped the car off originally) they had done nothing and told me they have fixed it. basically, they put a problem in working on my care. I should have listed to yelp when it showed 2 stars. in my opinion, they don't even deserve 2 stars. if you take your vehicle there, you will run a risk of a new problem put it by their incompetent technicians and the service folks who tell you stories about your car. read more
