My favorite nail salon in DC! Friendly people with excellent customer service. I don't usually like medicure due to sensitive skin, I requested a gentle service and Tee was happy to follow my request. Tee is very creative with my design. I really enjoyed my time here.

I was looking for a local place for my beauty needs. The service I needed was: Mani/pedi and eyebrows shaping. I got a classic pedicure, dip nails manicure and eyebrow waxing for $90. It's a good deal. I gave it 3 stars because of the service. The lady who did my pedicure rushed through my service. She also shouted loudly the service I requested and the cost of it such that everyone in the salon could hear. That is NOT professional. A different lady did my manicure and eyebrows and it was ok.

T did my toes and Nora did my nails this time! Always amazing work but I really LOVE this design!!

Look how much space is between the acrylic and my cuticles

I recently got based at DCA and wanted to find a place to get my nails done so of course I went to google. Found this place which was near me and thought I would give it a try. I requested a polish change for my toes and a fill in for my nails and I requested pink/white ombré . I got my toes done first and she did a good job. The nails though! ‍ 1st issue, she didn't push back or remove my cuticles. She literally began the fill where my cuticles grew out to. It looks like I've already had my nails on 2 weeks. 2nd issue, I requested ombré... I did not get ombré... the pink is all over the place. I've been to nail salons in several cities, states and countries and I've never had such a bad experience. I tried to explain it to them and they told me they can't do it because my cuticles are in the way..... ummm.... HELLLOOOO! That's the issue! ‍ Anyway, needless to say I won't be back. My friend got her toes done and they did a good job. She was going to get a fill but after seeing my nails she no longer wanted a fill. I had to go to CVS and get nail polish and will be spending my evening filing and painting my nails because these are horrible. The one star is for the good job on the toes.

I have been going to this nail salon intermittently since moving back to DC almost two years ago. I frequented it more last year and the service has pretty much been the same since day one. The level of service and expertise depends on the tech. I have pretty much only had either Tee, Fee, Fee's husband or the young lady that sits in front of the door service me all of the times that I have patronized the establishment and they have always done a good job. They take their time with application and freestyling designs that I show them and FOR THE MOST PART, my nails last. Although, last year after breaking two nails really low during a water balloon fight with my kids, instead of them telling me to wait until the nails grow back a little to get tips reapplied back on the nails, they applied over them. Everytime, I went back for a full set and ALWAYS paying OVER $100, I found myself going back before the week was even out bc the very same nails would break with little to no impact to the nail. Although, I was going back, they would fix the nails free of charge any time I went back but it definitely became a hassle. I took a break and went back recently with no complaints whatsoever!! :-) Definitely recommend the techs that I mentioned.

I have been nervous to try a nail place after moving to DC because I LOVE my nail place back home but this place is great. 1. Called a few days before to make an appointment for Saturday. They were able to get me in no problem. 2. I arrived a few mins late for my appointment no problem I was brought back right away (they were pretty busy for Saturday morning why I always make an appointment). 3. I got a gel full set which I was a little nervous about because I haven't had acrylic nails in years and especially getting them at a new pace! My girl was great. I changed my mind a few times on my length and color and she didn't get annoyed at all was super sweet. Her name is fee (not sure if spelling correctly). I will be making my appointments with her I the future ! Only getting 4 starts because I think it's a little pricey ($45) and they don't do anything with the manicure (massage, treatment, clean up my cuticles, etc.)

T gave me one of the bed manicures I have ever gotten, especially on H street. He took the time to make sure all the lines were perfectly clean and there were zero flaws. Thank you!

I have been coming here for years the only person I trust on my feet is Fee she's the absolute best! I tip her every time. And the prices are very reasonable

I found my new nail salon in DC! I live near here so it's super convenient, BUT I'd still travel for this gem. Okay okay--physically, it's not the most luxurious looking salon, if at all, but hey, I care more about the quality of work on my hands than what I'm looking at while I'm being catered to. I received a gel mani for 25$, they accept cc, but I gave her tip in cash. What I liked best, is that my gel color was a light pink, and Phi (my salon lady) gave me three solid coats of color and two of clear to make sure the pink became solid and fortified. She didn't charge me extra for this. She also took her time on my cuticles but was quick with the other stuff, yet efficient. Also, free parking around the corner once you get off H street. FYI. I'd gladly recommend this place, at least for the gel manis.

This place was terrible I just moved here and my nails done and my hometown gel nails last me at least a month here after me three days. They put liquids sealers in their nail polish to stretch it and the nail paint peels terrible job $30 I spent there trying to redo them the nails broke and the nail paint peeled again all within one week I had to go out of state with my nails looking terrible. Don't waste your time or money. These ppl come to steal and do shady business. DO NOT SPEND YOUR Money here! Kiss your money goodbye if you go here! You will regret it see photos after 1 week, went back redo and still a no go!!

I always take time to read reviews before I patron a business. I was shocked to see that this location in DC had such rave reviews from so many people. After my experience it seems like these reviews could possibly be fake, OR the woman who serviced me (didn't get her name) is a terrible technician. I walked in to get a simple pedicure. I didn't wait long and there was a wide selection of colors. Everything started off well until she began to remove my cuticles. She was extremely rough and even rushing to get through the process. There were a couple of times I winced in pain but I didn't think too much of it at the time. I was on my phone and didn't watch her complete the nail painting but as I got up from "drying" my toes using a fan from Target I noticed that she didn't paint my full toe with the clear polish. I paid and headed home. When I got home I noticed exactly why I winced in pain during my pedicure. At some point she cut my big toe and it begin to bleed. In fact, when I got home there was still remnants of blood on my toe (see pictures). Even worse (and this is my fault because I should have walked out as soon as I walked in) I have no idea if the tub my feet were in was clean! My experience here today is a clear sign that I should never return to this shop. I've NEVER been cut or bled while getting a pedicure. I've since doused my toe in hydrogen peroxide hopefully to kill off any germs I may have come in contact with with my open wound. The pedi was 25 dollars but honestly I'll pay more to not be hurt and better service.

I actually stopped in here on a whim. The place looks like a small hole in the wall and I have to admit I was skeptical. It was relatively busy for a Saturday morning. I waited about 2 mins before I was in the pedicure chair getting my feet started and my hands as well! I love how fast they are. They did a great job on my pedicure and gel mani AND it was only $50! After moving to DC from Ny I've struggled to find a good nail place that doesn't charge upwards of $80. I will definitely be coming here again.

Basically, my bitten down stubby nails needed HALP. So, I on a Sunday afternoon, I walked into the first nail salon I could find on H Street and the winner was Super Nails. I never spend more than $25 on a full set and I was not about to start now. They are $19.99 for regular length which to me is even too long. I asked for a french manicure which I believe is more, but I would not know since he didn't give me one. They do not use the french tips so my assumption is that they paint them on. Again, would not know. I ended up just having them painted clear. The acrylic lasts long and even after two weeks, I could have waited a few more days because it didn't melt away completely. I ended up going back for a fill and decided to get nail color on them this time. The nail polish wore off after a few days. They do not use the "good kind" like Essie, so I should not be surprised. I can't help but still yearn for french tips though. I don't care for nail color or designs or anything like that. I now go to Lady's Nails for my french manicured tips. I also get my eyebrows waxed here $10 and they do a great job. The wax they use is not sticky and doesn't irritate the skin. It's a painless process and even after several months of not having my brows done, I felt no pain and they gave me a perfect arch. I was pleased and now use them regularly for that. Overall, not a bad place to get a full set done. They are fast and accept credit cards.

Highly recommend pedicure services from here!…read more While I was out taking care of errands, I looked up on yelp some nearby nail shops, in hopes of getting a serious spa pedicure, and that's when I came across the incredibly high reviews of Famous Nails Spa. I called them to see if I can come in the next 10 mins for a pedicure, and they took me without issue. I was warmly welcomed when I walked in and asked to sign in, and then I walked back to the pedicure chairs. My nail techinician, who didn't introduce herself and was not particularly warm towards me, greeted me and got down to business. Now-I warned her that my feet were in a rough condition, so I didn't mind her being all business because these toes needed THE business. The pedicure service was fantastic!! my feet were scrubbed and rubbed, my toes nails cut and shaped, and my polish was summertime ready. My nail technician offered me water towards the end of my service, which I graciously accepted, however I noticed most people were offered a beverage at the beginning of their service. The spa is relatively cozy in size and efficient, no frills or luxury, but everything was tidy, and my pedicure was done amazingly, and completed in a bit over an hour. I checked out efficiently and was given a somewhat short and dry good bye..hahahaha. But honestly, their service speaks for itself. I definitely would visit here again, and beware of the limited street parking.. prices are reasonable too!
