I decided to give this spot a shot after reading the reviews, and I'm glad I did. The service was well done and never felt rushed. Most importantly, I was treated with kindness and respect. I went on a Sunday morning and found the front desk a bit frantic despite there being 3 people working there. One pedicure tech finally sat me (for my appointment) but the foot bath wasn't functioning. Amber was my tech and moved me to another chair. While she was pleasant I thought the charge of $120 for a gel manicure and pedicure was too much given the lack luster environment. However, what cemented for me this place is horrible is that within 2 days the gel manicure chipped! First it was 2 nails. Now, 4 days later 3. I called and they wanted me to come back there to have them fixed. I said I would never return and they gave me some money back as I insisted. But the continued deterioration of the service after just days is clear this isn't good good nail spa. I don't recommend it and I wouldn't return.

The nail artist is pretty decent with simple art and with most sticker application. I had wanted it all to be nail art and for them to tell me they couldn't do 3D nails. There is at least one sticker on each nail. Also I had to coax her to not give up but she was insistent on simply stickering every nail to make it go faster. The pedi was alright and pretty painless. The nail artist just missed a spot of paint and accidentally got a dot of red paint on the right big toe. I think about 2.5 hours was spent in total during the first visit and less than 10 minutes fixing the issues with the nails in the next visit.

While she wrapped my nails and let them sit in acetone, the next person got to work on my pedicure. Ok so I was probably at this location for about 20 minutes when 2 ladies walked in. They were almost immediately offered water, green tea etc. While up to this point, I wasn't offered anything until much later than when I arrived. Also the disposition towards these two was generally sunnier and much more accommodating. (They were asked multiple times if their water temp was too hot/too cold etc) Now, the pedicure was fine. The gentleman who worked on my feet was nicer and he definitely perked up when we talked about my hometown. Also they had 3 people work on my nails which just put a bad taste in my mouth. It makes it much messier when it comes to tipping (I'll get to the tipping part later) Another sour item was they swapped out the nail color I chose. I specifically asked for a certain color of red. They pulled it out for me and had it on the ready, and right before she got to painting, someone else asked for the same color, they let the other customer use it and gave me something comparable. Super duper rude. I was already over this place at this point, so I obliged (I'm way too nice for my own good). Also gonna mention here that my cuticles are currently in pain because of them getting cut badly (never has ever happened back at home) Lastly, the tipping part. I recently returned to Bliss Nail Lounge for another gel manicure, and unfortunately this set of…read morenails was not up to the same level as my first time. My technician was nice, but seemed to really want to get me in and out of her chair as quickly as possible. I have never kept my hands under the UV light for less than 60 seconds per layer, but at one point I timed it and my hand was under the light for 15 seconds. It was truly: finish one hand, immediately change hands to put under the light. I questioned it internally but figured she knew what she was doing. I got my nails done on a Tuesday, by Sunday one of my nails was chipped. Bliss has a policy that any chips within 10 days can be fixed for free, so I went in the next Wednesday to get the nail fixed. Again it was incredibly rushed, 15 seconds max under the light. By Friday the nail chipped again. Two days later another nail chipped. Less than two weeks and the manicure was already chipping. A disappointing experience compared to my first time there.
