Note to self - ONLY get regular fries, NO garlic fries. Super Duper was my 5 star burger place. I used to rank them as high as In N Out Burgers. Quality/Quantity - Sadly, today's experience was not as positive as my previous experiences. It was not bad, but not as good as in the past. Maybe I also had my expectations too high. Mini Burger - My order, as usual. With everything on it, including the "also free" items. Burgers, well most foods, are all just so much better with a little jalapeno in it. :) Super Burger - Wow, miscommunication from my daughter to my wife. I was surprised my wife ordered this and not the mini?!?! My daughter gave my wife the impression that the mini was too small. Fried Chicken Sandwich - Newest addition to the menu. My daughter gave this 5 stars. The chicken was moist and juicy. Garlic Fries - I regret getting these as I continue to make the same mistake every visit. They were amazingly greasy. I know fries are greasy, but these were dripping wet. I actually had to pat them down before eating them. Complimentary Pickles - So full after my burger and fries, I was only able to eat a few pickles. I really wanted a soft serve, but I knew that I was just not going to be able to eat it. They have wine and beer on tap, but I have been drinking excessively for the last few days now, gambling at GSR, Reno and at the Livermore wineries. Atmosphere - Decent size location, two floors. A security guard at the door. Plenty of indoor seating, table seating, and counter seating. Two unisex bathrooms. The one behind the soda machine fan/vent does not work well; use at your own risk. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 9pm or 9:30pm. Because we came on a Sunday (Caltopia Event, see other review), plenty of free street parking. Service - Counter self kiosk service. Two kiosks available. Plenty of employees everywhere. The manager was visible and greeted us. A team member was cleaning the ENTIRE time I was there! Price - $40. Reasonably priced. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2010 and now with your 19+ locations.

I had really great service! It's such a cute spot and the food is great. David helped out and he was very friendly!!

Great burger spot! The patties are juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Berkeley, it's a perfect option for a quick and satisfying bite.

Easy street parking on a summer afternoon. Ordered two seasonal burgers ( bell peppers, jack cheese) and garlic cheese fries. Both were delicious, but they had not drained the fries before loading them, and it was a bit much. Pickles were perfect as ever.

Simple fast food option for burgers but not fast food quality whatsoever. One of my fav burger chains arounds for sure! Smashes the others out of the park. Food is always done super quickly and tastes great each time. I love getting a classic Super Burger with all the toppings. One of my fav things about his spot is their monthly special burgers. My favs of the past have been the truffle burger, mushroom bleu cheese, and the poblano burger! Really good! Do wish I could add stuff to the specials though :,) Garlic fries are a classic and so tasty. Sometimes I even just get an order of these and I am good! They serve Strauss dairy products here, which if you know, is the best! Overall, great spot to grub down!

***Burger - 4 Stars, I gave an extra star for the AYCE Pickles, because I LOVE pickles and they were fresh and tasty!!!*** Came in for a quick bit before the Cal Game. Got the Lettuce Wrap Super Burger, 2 Patties, Fried Egg, Bacon and Grilled Onions with the Super Aioli Sauce, tasted great. You ordered on a tablet and pay, go find a table and wait for them to call your name!!! The restaurant was full and we got our order pretty fast about 15mins. They have self severed soda machines. AYCD!!! LOL!!! They have a small upstairs area with tables. Here is my favorite part of this burger place, they let you get as much as you want on the pickles. They have jags and jags of it sitting with the utensils and ketchup and mustard. AYCE Pickles, HELL YEA!!!! Oh, they are really good!!!

During my 3 years at UC Berkeley, I frequented this place. While this is partly because I lived close, it's also a testament to the quality of this place. That being said, I have felt disappointed here enough times to not give it 5-stars. I was delighted when my aunt first discovered this place when visiting me. Though I missed my usually LA spots (namely In-n-Out and Habit Burger), this place was a good--but not perfect--alternative. I found the mini burger and fries more than enough to satisfy me, though I have a smaller appetite than most. The mini burger is good. Still too expensive, just like everything in this unaffordable city, but not unreasonable. It was tasty, too, and they had enough variety. The dipped soft serve tasted great, but was super leaky and messy. My hand was drenched afterwards even though I did not hesitate to eat it. Unfortunately, this is a major problem for it. The Naked Chick was downright disappointing. Two measly nibbles of chicken and pickles I got from the jar in the front for free. I don't remember how much it costed but I remember it being super unreasonable. Not worth it at all! The storefront is nice. It's right next to the campus and it has a nice storefront, but on a super shady intersection. I wouldn't recommend walking here alone at night. There's more than enough room inside and it's fairly clean. Staff was nice and attentive, but orders can take a while. This, however, might be due to the fact that they were always busy and seemed to make their food from scratch. Finally, I have to say I highly recommend their milkshakes. They're very good, malty, and dense.

Inside the restaurant is so clean and cozy.Me and my friends tried it out and totally fell in love with Super Duper Burgers. The meat was so juicy and tender.Everything is perfect.Staffs are amazing and welcoming, they're all friendly.Definitely will come back to try other kind of burgers!!!

It came with a side of coleslaw (3.5 Stars) and spiced honey (3 Stars). They fried a whole breast, it was so large that it over flowed the toasted brioche bun. The only thinking that made it spicy was the homemade spicy mayo, so it wasn't that spicy. I noticed on the menu they have sauces, like Nashville and buffalo. I think next time I'll try one of those sauces to kick up the heat. The cheese I add was not needed, I should have left off. The Fries (4 stars) were coated with potato flour and seasoning, which made a great crispy crust, served hot. Mac N' Cheese (4 Stars $6.49) I ordered the small 8oz, it was corkscrew pasta covered with a cheese sauce that was awesome with some Cajun spices, a like dirt Mac and some extra cheese on top. The burger was fresh and flavorful--you can taste the quality in every bite. The onion rings were on point too: crispy, not greasy, perfectly cooked. Dipping them into the habanero mayo gave it just the right kick. Definitely recommend that combo. The staff was friendly and kept things cool even though there were only two or three people running the place. The spot itself is small, just a few tables and chairs, with a little bit of Latin music playing in the background, which gave it a nice touch. When I first got there, it wasn't too busy, but by the time I finished, it was filling up. Walked around the block to stretch out, came back 15 minutes later, and the place was packed. What's also impressive is that their fried chicken sandwich was voted one of Yelp's Top 50 Fried Chicken Sandwiches in California, ranking #33 in the state. That's what I'm definitely trying next time. Final verdict: Great burger, great onion rings, friendly service, and a spot worth checking out if you're around University Ave in Berkeley. Two thumbs up from me.

Eureka is a restaurant with indoor only seating, though it does have an indoor patio area that opens to the street. They take reservations so I'd recommend doing that if possible. They've got a ton of beers on draft to choose from, and also offer a taster option which I did to try a few different beers. I wish the tasters were bigger, and wish they gave you something to track the different beers, because it's easy to get them mixed the way they serve them one-by-one. I wish they served them all at once as well, because I received my beers piecemeal, with one showing up 10 minutes after my other beers had arrived. On the food front, I got the al pastor fish tacos and tried the fish & chips. The Al pastor fish tacos were excellent, but the fries it came with were stale. The fish & chips were ok, a bit bland but well cooked. Like the beers, all of our food came out very piecemeal, with one item coming 10 minutes after everything else had come. Overall, it felt like the service was a bit hit or miss; the staff is nice but it was hard to get their attention, which I would attribute to them being spread thin. I think if you're not in a hurry this place has some good lunch specials and good beers to try, just be ready for a slow experience.

The crispy Brussels sprouts stole the show - the deep-frying created a smoky flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture that was equally loved by vegetarians and non-vegetarians in the group. The tossed salad was decent; the lettuce was heavily coated with oily dressing, which I think could have used more acidity. The Fun-Gi pizza was our favorite of the two pies - the hint of truffle oil and rosemary took this mushroom pizza to the next level. I also loved the light and airy crust, which had the perfect amount of crispiness. I wasn't as much of a fan of the Spicy Tomato pizza; while I really liked the unexpected sweetness from the tapenade, the cashew cream drizzle seemed out-of-place. The lettuce wrap came in two steamed, wilted pieces of iceberg, while the brioche bun was untoasted, foamy-textured and soggy. Both medium burgers had the consistency of boiled meatballs. The bacon jam was decent, but the overall experience was wildly unappetizing. We also both got plain fries, which were somehow greasy and dry at the same time, and instantly turned stale as they cooled down.
