If it wasn't for my last visit, this would have been a 5-star review. I hope this was an aberration and the quality of the tenders is not slipping. I wondered if now that they've been open awhile they are now serving smaller tenders? The chicken - I have dined here 7-8 times since it opened. With the exception of my most recent visit for dinner on 7/10/26, the tenders were big, well-seasoned, juicy and crispy. I was disappointed on the last visit. The tenders were much smaller, were overcooked, and dry. I hope this was a one-off, because I would hate to see the food quality go downhill. The fries - the hand-cut, perfectly cooked and seasoned fries are amazing. The servings are huge, and the fries are hot & crispy. They serve the best fries I've tasted. The condiments - I love the condiment bar! They offer a wide variety of sweet, savory, spicy dipping sauces which you pump into serving cups and come back for more! The fountain beverages are also self-serve with free refills. The custard - I've only ordered the custard once. We took it home and it was very good. You won't be disappointed. However, right across the parking lot is Humble Cow ice cream and, given the choice, I definitely prefer Humble Cow. Service - the service is always efficient and friendly. I like that they bring the food to your table as soon as it's ready, so it's always fresh & hot. Atmosphere - the restaurant and tables have been clean on every visit. They have some TVs for watching games. The high ceilings make it overly loud and the air conditioner makes it so cold you'll want to have a sweater handy. Tried Super Chix on the recommendation of my nephew.... It was basically another fast food restaurant ... Greeted with a smile upon arrival. And when I inquired about the various options, was met with a friendly explanation. The place was clean, ambiance casual with tables & chairs or benches. You bus your table afterward.... Pretty self explanatory and easy I placed a small order to try their sauces. It looks like they have a ghost pepper specialty meal which sounds tasty AND a bit scary . Lots of families stopping in for a quick lunch after a soccer event.. several to-go orders picked up while I was there. Moderately busy on a Saturday at 1pm with about 8 other eateries in the same location. The salad option looked good, but basically I'm not a fried food fan and even that includes fried food.... The food was good and the serving size (2 chicken tenders) was more than filling. If I ate fried food, I'd definitely return . Not too impressed with the food because it was very salty, but very clean restaurant! Perhaps the cleanest one that I ever been to during my time in Washington state! I was so in awe when I went to the bathroom because the hygiene team really put down. Staff was nice; they knew which orders best fit customer preferences and requests. A bit overpriced here, but meh... will say that the sauces were realllyyy gooood and what make the meals. Multiple choices that you have to get on your own, which I wish the staff highlighted as something that they offer at the restaurant. First time ever in a Super Chix and did not know what to expect at all. My first impressions were great menu boards, cute and geesh a bit expensive for chicken sandwiches... It was difficult to order because it all sounded great, but the staff was very sweet and patient. This place has to be one of my Top 5 chicken sandwich spots! My husband and I decided to give this place a try while we were in the area and loved the options they have on the menu. We both got the Bacavo Ranch sandwiches and shared loaded fries. My husband also got some Nashville hot tenders and he always has to get a shake so he also got a Reese's cold fusion. Our food came out within 5-10 minutes. There was a little hiccup with our fries (they accidentally brought regular fries when we asked for loaded) but they were quick about fixing it and bringing us everything. The food was so good and well seasoned. The chicken was huge, juicy, and tender. Also, we loved that they have a self sauce pumping station to get different sauces of your choice. The staff were all very friendly and go around often to ask how the food is and to help clear trash from your table. Would love to come back here again to try the other options they have! read more

A Culinary Adventure at Super Chix: A Cautionary Tale Fresh off the slicing table from my umpteenth surgery (14, but who's counting?), I found myself in a predicament: laid up, Thursday night football, chickenless, and craving something to distract me from my ninja-style escapades around the house. With my go-to wing spot, Ikonic Wings, temporarily closed, I turned to Super Chix, hoping for a delightful diversion. I'm ALWAYS DOWN for a New Adventure on the Taste Buds! Spoiler alert: it was anything but... First, the app. Oh, the app! It was as dysfunctional as my post-surgery attempts at Ninja stealth. After signing up for a rewards account six times (cuz I knew I'd get hella rewards on the money we were gonna spend), and still being asked to create a new account on checkout, I finally managed to order as a guest. Earning ZERO REWARDS for a $70+ order later, I was left with a meal that made the whole family sick. Not exactly the reward I was hoping for. My husband, ever the trooper, returned for a second pick up, as he was picking up the order. He described his experience as a silent film--no greetings, no directions, just awkward stares as he navigated the store like a lost tourist. When he finally found the secret corner for pickups, he was met with more silence and a vague gesture towards our order. Back home, we discovered that none of the food was labeled. It was like a culinary mystery game, except the prize was mushy, oil-soaked disappointment. The chicken sandwiches and fries had to be semi revived in the air fryer, but even that couldn't save the pickles. The fried pickles were so greasy they could have doubled as a slip 'n slide. A call to the manager revealed that labeling isn't part of their process. This is concerning, especially for those with food allergies. Not knowing what's in each container is a lawsuit waiting to happen. My mother, who flew in to help post-surgery, was left unimpressed and starving with the rest of us. In the end, Super Chix offered to remake some items, a third time but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths AGAIN! Literally and figuratively. So that was a hard pass! My husband's final interaction summed it up: "I'm not sure what sandwich that is, but here are the toppings for your soggy fries." That the first time around was a mystery container passed around so everyone could try it, and guess what it was?! Oh and He almost got T-boned in the parking lot trying to return home and be done with the disgrace of this establishment. So, if you're considering a visit to Super Chix, be prepared for a journey of unsanitary, unlabeled, and uninspiring food. My advice? Save your money and your stomach. Ordered our food, waited forever. So you would imagine that would mean that what they would be making, would come out hot and prepared well. However, instead the chicken was lukewarm, and the French fries were literally just dumped in the bag on top of the chicken. No container for them or nothing. But if you like made to order chicken sandwiches and/or salads, Super Chix is definitely one of the best spots around. I had the bacon and avocado fried chicken sandwich and loaded fries and was very satisfied with the quality of the food. I like that they have a "sauce bar" so you can try the various sauces they have for their tenders. I ended up dipping my fries in the slightly spicy/sweet Korean bbq sauce and it was the perfect complement to the cheesy fries. Yup you heard me chicken and custard. Don't knock till you try it! I had the Bacavo Ranch sandwich. You can get your patty grilled or breaded. I went grilled. This sandwich has bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and a ranch dressing. Goodness it was good. And all on a warm brioche bun... yummy They also have different seasonings for your fries. I went with Cajun. It was a soft spicy and lots of flavor. They will serve you a MOUNTAIN of fries. I couldn't eat them all. Next, we had their tenders! That is exactly what they were tender! Nice big sizes nicely breaded and juicy! Hit it with that honey mustard and you'll be thanking me! Next, we ended our lunch with the custard. They have vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. And also featured flavors. Right now it is strawberry cheesecake!! We got one scoop of the strawberry cheesecake and one scoop of the chocolate with Oreo topping. It was so delicious! One scoop is plenty. They also have milkshakes as well with different Dalits and toppings. The atmosphere was laid back playing some guns and roses and 90's hits. Bathrooms were clean. It is a little hard to believe that after ordering and given a number for the table that we were forgotten about. We walked in and placed an order for two chicken sandwiches, order of fries and some fried pickles. The cashier said the order would be up shortly, they will bring it out. We took the waters and the number for the order / table , took a table by the window and waited. About 35 mins later we were still waiting. I noticed that the people that were in line with us got their food I waited for a bit and asked the employee taking food to the tables,he came back 2 mins and apologize that they misplaced our ticket and the food will be out in ten minutes. We did get our food and it was freshly made and still hot. The food was good , tho fries were a little over seasoned. I did see that the have frozen custard freshly made. I've been here multiple times, and have had a good experience each time. It is a little spendier than other fast food places but the quality is higher. The staff are always friendly and quick to resolve any issues. I love the Martin's rolls. They also have all their sauce available for free on the side. We have had to wait a little bit for food. Finally a good chicken spot in Lacey. We got there about 10 minutes before they opened and there were cars waiting in the parking lot already. Ok... so already a line, this is looking good. We ordered at the counter and our cashier was so patient and nice. We sat down with our number and our food was brought to us. The chicken was juicy and tender. The batter was also crispy and didn't fall off after a bite. We ordered the Nashville and my hubs told me it shouldn't be covered in sauce but I still enjoyed it. My husband and I recently tried this place out for the first time with zero expectations. I absolutely loved, loved my choice, the deluxe chicken sandwich. It was perfect. I will forever choose that item because it was so perfect-- just the right amount of crisp fried chicken, juicy, seasoned, and huge. Garlic aioli was the perfect touch. Lettuce, tomato, pickles were fresh and delicious. We went on opening week and of course the restaurant was packed and very busy. However, our food tasted amazing, and the workers were all very pleasant. My daughter had the avocado chicken sandwich, my wife had the regular deluxe, and I had the Korean chicken sandwich. All the sauces were excellent, I especially like the two barbecue offerings, and the chicken was very flavorful and moist. The only downside from our experience were the fried pickles which were cold and damp.
