    So cute!

First time ever in a Super Chix and did not know what to expect at all. My first impressions were great menu boards, cute and geesh a bit expensive for chicken sandwiches... It was difficult to order because it all sounded great, but the staff was very sweet and patient. It took a bit longer to get than typical fast food, but we soon learned that this was no ordinary fast food at all! Wow! Huge! Fresh! Crunchy! Delicious! where has this chicken sandwich been all my life? Right here at Super Chix! If you haven't wandered in yet do so quickly, you really don't know what you're missing!

This place has to be one of my Top 5 chicken sandwich spots! My husband and I decided to give this place a try while we were in the area and loved the options they have on the menu. We both got the Bacavo Ranch sandwiches and shared loaded fries. My husband also got some Nashville hot tenders and he always has to get a shake so he also got a Reese's cold fusion. Our food came out within 5-10 minutes. There was a little hiccup with our fries (they accidentally brought regular fries when we asked for loaded) but they were quick about fixing it and bringing us everything. The food was so good and well seasoned. The chicken was huge, juicy, and tender. Also, we loved that they have a self sauce pumping station to get different sauces of your choice. The staff were all very friendly and go around often to ask how the food is and to help clear trash from your table. Would love to come back here again to try the other options they have!

A Culinary Adventure at Super Chix: A Cautionary Tale Fresh off the slicing table from my umpteenth surgery (14, but who's counting?), I found myself in a predicament: laid up, Thursday night football, chickenless, and craving something to distract me from my ninja-style escapades around the house. With my go-to wing spot, Ikonic Wings, temporarily closed, I turned to Super Chix, hoping for a delightful diversion. I'm ALWAYS DOWN for a New Adventure on the Taste Buds! Spoiler alert: it was anything but... First, the app. Oh, the app! It was as dysfunctional as my post-surgery attempts at Ninja stealth. After signing up for a rewards account six times (cuz I knew I'd get hella rewards on the money we were gonna spend), and still being asked to create a new account on checkout, I finally managed to order as a guest. Earning ZERO REWARDS for a $70+ order later, I was left with a meal that made the whole family sick. Not exactly the reward I was hoping for. My husband, ever the trooper, returned for a second pick up, as he was picking up the order. He described his experience as a silent film--no greetings, no directions, just awkward stares as he navigated the store like a lost tourist. When he finally found the secret corner for pickups, he was met with more silence and a vague gesture towards our order. Back home, we discovered that none of the food was labeled. It was like a culinary mystery game, except the prize was mushy, oil-soaked disappointment. The chicken sandwiches and fries had to be semi revived in the air fryer, but even that couldn't save the pickles. The fried pickles were so greasy they could have doubled as a slip 'n slide. A call to the manager revealed that labeling isn't part of their process. This is concerning, especially for those with food allergies. Not knowing what's in each container is a lawsuit waiting to happen. My mother, who flew in to help post-surgery, was left unimpressed and starving with the rest of us. In the end, Super Chix offered to remake some items, a third time but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths AGAIN! Literally and figuratively. So that was a hard pass! My husband's final interaction summed it up: "I'm not sure what sandwich that is, but here are the toppings for your soggy fries." That the first time around was a mystery container passed around so everyone could try it, and guess what it was?! Oh and He almost got T-boned in the parking lot trying to return home and be done with the disgrace of this establishment. So, if you're considering a visit to Super Chix, be prepared for a journey of unsanitary, unlabeled, and uninspiring food. My advice? Save your money and your stomach. This is one establishment I cannot recommend. If you're in need of wings or, or "crispy" chicken to top an exhilarating night of smallest and full bellies off, stick with ikonic wings

Better than expected! If you live in Lacey, you know that we're short on unique dining options. Super Chix doesn't try to be everything to everyone. But if you like made to order chicken sandwiches and/or salads, Super Chix is definitely one of the best spots around. I had the bacon and avocado fried chicken sandwich and loaded fries and was very satisfied with the quality of the food. I like that they have a "sauce bar" so you can try the various sauces they have for their tenders. I ended up dipping my fries in the slightly spicy/sweet Korean bbq sauce and it was the perfect complement to the cheesy fries. The chicken breading was crunchy, seasoned perfectly and hot and juicy tender was a nice contrast to most other chicken sandwiches at fast casual dining spots.

It is a little hard to believe that after ordering and given a number for the table that we were forgotten about. We walked in and placed an order for two chicken sandwiches, order of fries and some fried pickles. The cashier said the order would be up shortly, they will bring it out. We took the waters and the number for the order / table , took a table by the window and waited. About 35 mins later we were still waiting. I noticed that the people that were in line with us got their food I waited for a bit and asked the employee taking food to the tables,he came back 2 mins and apologize that they misplaced our ticket and the food will be out in ten minutes. We did get our food and it was freshly made and still hot. The food was good , tho fries were a little over seasoned. I did see that the have frozen custard freshly made. That looks goo that looks good. Maybe next time. Even though we had this mishap, I most likely will be back.

Way too salty as you can see

The chicken had no flavor and the fries were super salty. I also tried using my free fry promo and it wasn't going through. The cashier could care less about anything.

My teenage son and I were craving wings and decided to try Ikonic Wings after seeing good reviews…read moreabout them. We recently moved to Washington from California, so we've been missing our usual wing spots back home. Haven't tried any wing spots yet after our move so decided to give Ikonic Wings a try. We ordered in person since we weren't familiar with the menu, and the employee working the counter was super friendly and patient with all of our questions. I didn't see it on the menu so I inquired how many flavors we could select (i.e. 2 or 3 flavors for 18 wings??); She explained how the flavor selections worked depending on wing count (1 flavor for the 2 lowest selections, 2 flavors for the rest, includes Wings Only or Wings Combo). She even let us sample the Sweet Blaze sauce when we asked what the flavor consists of. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3 tables inside, and we waited around 18 minutes for our order (she provided the estimated time in advance and we were willing to wait). There's also a small carryout fee if you order to go. We ordered 18 wings with the Badass Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan sauces for about $30, which felt fair imo. The wings were still hot when we got home, smelled amazing, and the chicken itself was definitely juicy and meaty. They don't skimp on portion size at all, and I actually liked the thick breading texture too. Unfortunately, the flavor just didn't really hit for us. I was hoping for something more flavorful and crispy like Fire Wings back in California. My son and I agreed that the buffalo sauce honestly tasted more like BBQ than buffalo, and it wasn't spicy at all. To me, the garlic parmesan mostly just tasted salty instead of cheesy or garlicky. Even with buttermilk ranch, the flavors still tasted pretty average. I do appreciate that they're veteran-owned and the customer service was genuinely great, but for wings, flavor is the biggest thing for me. I'd rather have smaller wings with bold flavor than bigger wings that taste kind of bland. Not sure if we'll be returning, probably around a 6 out of 10 for us personally. ***Editing to Add (after Owners Response): Appreciate the thoughtful response; please don't take it to heart! We have no issues with the price, just wanted to include as much details with our experience for those unaware like ourselves, so the carryout fee is completely understandable. The staff accurately made the order; the buffalo sauce just tasted more for us like a bbq/buffalo sauce we're used to from frozen store bought groceries, and our level of spice tolerance is higher so that could be why our standards weren't met. As for the garlic parmesan, I'm no chef, but if there is possibly a way to douse some fresh garlic parmesan on the chicken after the breading/frying, maybe that could improve the taste if some of it is lost from the process? Not attacking whatsoever, just food for thought. Also, When I mentioned ranch, we didn't try the ranch here, we had our own at home to eat with the wings, so no shade to your ranch :)

Delicious, healthy food and friendly service! I can't complain :)…read more I was in the area for errands and the name of the restaurant made me want to try out the food here. I went inside to place an order. Although initially vacant at first, the space was quickly occupied by following customers lining up after my arrival. One of the employees appeared to be taking out the trash while the other greeted me and helped me with my order when I arrived. There were various options for ordering, but I decided to go with the nori wrap. You can select a customized option or go with one of their premade choices, which lists all the ingredients inside. I was feeling seafood so I went with the Seahawk. The employee asked me if I wanted everything with it, and I asked to just sub one of the sauces with the Chipotle sauce. The portions are definitely huge and worth the pricing, because she had to double wrap my order just so it would all fit and wouldn't fall out. To pair with the nori wrap, I also ordered the original miso soup, which comes with the usual tofu and seaweed but is on the sweeter side compared to what I'm used to. I personally like it sweeter but if you don't, I probably wouldn't order it. I don't often crave healthy food, but it was fairly filling and I had a good experience, so I'll be back to try out MiSo again!

Adjacent to my other new favorite restaurant, my choice of where to eat just got tougher! The young man who took care of me was fantastic, freely offering that the model is similar to Chipotle, but 'better'. I'm inclined to believe him, at least based off my single experience. I was so excited to have them locally, and adding them to the fresher and " cooler" selection of dining options in the Hogum Bay plaza is a natural fit. The restaurant space is clean, and simple. Not too much one way or the other, and fairly open. The staff here is obviously new, the communication between them wasn't smooth. The kid who was the server got asked a question by the cashier to ask the cook, when he went back he couldn't remember the cashiers name. I expect they'll get better at this as they go along. Food wise, I was under whelmed. Portions were so measured I'm sure the server put a little back in every helping. There wasn't one thing in my burrito that was hot, let alone warm. The burrito shell was a bit too chewy for me, but the flavor was there. I do like they it didn't have the saturated cilantro flavor that a competitor has, I just don't care for the stuff. My burrito was the beef, and my wife's bowl was the adobo chicken. Her feedback to me on the bowl, was the same as my burrito, ok flavor but not hot or warm even. We signed up for the club card, and got the promised chips with queso, the queso was very good actually, but the chips were undercooked and over salted. Honestly, I don't believe in excessive negativity, so just trust my words on their done-ness and saltiness, I opted to not provide pictures them. My wide did give in-restaurant feedback about this. I'm not a fan of high salt, so my wife said not to even waste time on trying them. If it were me, I'd opt for the food at several competitors locally, and maybe skip going here again on my own. We believe in second chances for businesses, so we will maybe go back sometime as a couple, in hopes of a better experience. Id gladly edit this if our return visit yields another result. I hope the employee connectedness is better, the food a lot warmer, the chips a bit more crispy, and the salt a little less liberal. Slightly below average for me.
