I used to love Miso! I hadn't ordered it in a few months and was sad to see the changes. It's half the size and meat was tough. Disappointing

I've been eying this chain restaurant out for a while since coming to Olympia. It seemed like a Korean chipotle that I oughta try! The location that my friend and I went to is the one in Lacey in Britton Plaza with a drive-thru. There's ample parking stalls that won't ever be a problem or stay in the car and order through the drive-thru. The concept of this place is similar to Chipotle and Subway where you can add as much toppings/sides as you want. Extra meat or protein costs $3 more. I got the Seahawk signature bowl and added some cucumbers. I also added cucumber wasabi sauce on top of the other two sauces that came with it (poke and sweet chili). The bowl wanted to look like a poke bowl but definitely didn't look like one from Hawaii. The bowl looked kind of small, but it was PACKED. It was basically filled with a ton of vegetables and some protein in the middle. I guess it's a really healthy salad with the variety of vegetables (MUCH NEEDED). The mixture of the three sauces gave so much flavor to my bowl. I loved how the tuna wasn't a weird mushy texture and that it was the kind I liked for frozen style. The crab salad wasn't too mayo-y and mixed well with the tuna and vegetables. My friend got the Dragon bowl which was basically curry chicken. And wow. This was AMAZING. the curry was very fragrant, making the chicken taste soooo good. Prices here aren't too bad especially for the amount of sides and sauces you can add on. Definitely a place to check out if you're looking for a "Korean-styled" chipotle.

I ordered a chicken salad with sweet teriyaki sauce. The chicken was good, the sauce was good but it seemed like there was hardly any salad in the bowl. I ate the chicken but everything else was just not for me.

The restaurant is easy to find, located in a plaza with other businesses, so there's plenty of parking available. I also like that their hours are posted in military time; it's a small detail, but it removes any confusion about opening and closing times. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it feels comfortable and welcoming. We arrived around 17:00 on a Wednesday and were seated quickly. Service was friendly from start to finish--menus were brought promptly, and we were asked about drinks right away (water was perfect for us). Throughout the meal, the staff was attentive without being intrusive, refilling our water and clearing dishes at just the right times. We started with the agedashi tofu to share. The broth was flavorful and the tofu was prepared well, with that soft, gooey, gelatinous consistency. While it wasn't quite my personal preference (I tend to favor a crispier texture), it was still tasty and likely ideal for those who enjoy it that way. For our main dishes, my son ordered the tonkatsu corn ramen, and I had the black garlic ramen (without bean sprouts--personal preference). This was our first ramen spot since moving to Washington, and it genuinely reminded us of a favorite place we used to visit in Sacramento. The broth was rich, creamy, and deeply savory--absolutely delicious. I especially liked that the ramen was served with a ladle instead of a standard soup spoon, which made it easier to sip more of the broth. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not too firm, not too soft--and paired really well with the toppings. My son even commented on the generous portion of noodles, which I joked was exactly what we signed up for when ordering ramen! We both finished our bowls feeling completely satisfied. The chashu and egg were highlights for me--I took my time consuming them. My only small critique is that I wish the ramen included a full soft-boiled egg instead of just half, especially with bowls averaging around $17. Overall, this was a great dining experience with flavorful food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. While I have a couple of minor preferences, I would definitely return and recommend it to others looking for quality ramen in the area.

Then I saw their TikTok last night, and let me tell you, that video had me craving it instantly. The scrumptiousness was living rent free in my brain all night, so today my son and I had to stop in and see what the hype was about. We ordered the Sour Diesel, the Fire, and the Afgoo, all on their toasted jalapeño cheese bread. First of all, the female employee who helped us was so friendly and welcoming. We do not eat out much, so we were genuinely excited and maybe a little impatient to try them. When they handed us the sandwiches, I immediately noticed how heavy they were. And the smell in the car on the way home, oh my goodness. Pure torture waiting to unwrap them. Then we got home and opened them up, and I was honestly shocked in the best way. There was actually a MEAL on that bread. Not one of those sad sandwiches that's 80 percent lettuce and air. These were loaded. My teenage son even commented on how good his was, and trust me, teen approval is not handed out lightly. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and each sandwich was totally unique and delicious. I can confidently say I have found a new favorite sub spot. Total hidden gem if you love a good sandwich that actually fills you up and tastes incredible. I did not grab a shake this time because it was freezing outside, but after seeing all the flavor options on the menu, I will absolutely be trying one next visit. Highly recommend in every aspect. Our 2nd court had been taken by another group due to the faulty payment system, so I decided to book 2 more hours indoor, in addition to our 1st hour outside. We played for maybe 20 minutes inside during our 2nd hour, so I requested to not be charged for the 3rd hour. Which I was assured I wouldn't be. Despite that assurance, and that employee supposedly leaving a note with the manager, I was still charged. They have no manager on site during peak times that are able to make decisions, so I left a message following the experience with the 'manager' Carol Peebles. I gave her plenty of grace before writing this review, but I guess I'll have to drive all the way to Lacey & confront them directly to get refunded. Just a bit frustrating since I know Doordash charges more.. I also didn't want to place the order at the restaurant because I was so hungry and wanted to grab & go :( I was really craving pho and I liked their menu, so I took the chance and ordered both a regular-sized Meatball Pho (pho bo vien) and their Pho with Steak/Flank/Tendon/Fatty, which seems to be their "pho dac viet." On their menu, the price is listed as $15.99 for a Regular size and $17.99 for a Large. I paid $17.99 for each through Doordash for the regular-size, excluding the almost $4 of tax and bag fee.. Thankfully, I live nearby, so it was just a few minutes to drive over. It's in the same busy parking lot as Safeway and McDonald's but it's more on the opposite side, so I never realized it was in the same lot. Plenty of parking, at least. When I entered, the restaurant had plenty of seating but only a few tables occupied, which made me wonder why they didn't answer their phone.. I know I'm being petty over a few dollars but I just want to get bang for my buck. The inside looked nice and cozy, and I think would be a lovely place to enjoy a bowl of pho on an outcast/rainy day otherwise (if I didn't just want to go straight home lol). I was instantly greeted by a friendly employee that asked if I had a takeout order and escorted me over to a small table, where it was already neatly bagged and ready for me to retrieve. Now, the FOOD. I will say, it was absolutely delicious! Everything was organized and packaged well, so nothing spilled on the ride home. The pho was a good temperature: hot enough to cook the steak, but not overpowering enough to burn your mouth. The regular size still provides ample portions, so both my kiddo and I ate half for lunch, and our other half for dinner. I specifically asked for no beans sprouts with my order, so I do like that they provided enough for my son while still following my instructions. I am not too picky about my pho broth, but I can at least say, the broth here was not watered down. If anything, it might pack too much flavor and might deter some customers, but for me, it was savory and divine! I still had to add my obligatory hoisin and Sriracha sauces, so it might not be the healthiest, but i don't care, I slurped up everything! I usually post images of my food on social media [stories], and actually had a friend ask what the soup was because it looks really good. Some people have a finer palette for "good" Pho but for me, pho is pho as long as it is flavorful and there's a fair amount of MEAT! They offer moderate portions here so I can't complain, and everything was satisfying enough when eaten with the broth. 4 stars because they didn't answer the phone but my son and I devoured everything, so we can at least advocate that the pho is worth it! I'd recommend trying out this restaurant at least, especially if you consider yourself a pho connoisseur (or even a newbie to pho!).
