Delicious, healthy food and friendly service! I can't complain :) I was in the area for errands and the name of the restaurant made me want to try out the food here. I went inside to place an order. Although initially vacant at first, the space was quickly occupied by following customers lining up after my arrival. One of the employees appeared to be taking out the trash while the other greeted me and helped me with my order when I arrived. There were various options for ordering, but I decided to go with the nori wrap. You can select a customized option or go with one of their premade choices, which lists all the ingredients inside. I was feeling seafood so I went with the Seahawk. The employee asked me if I wanted everything with it, and I asked to just sub one of the sauces with the Chipotle sauce. The portions are definitely huge and worth the pricing, because she had to double wrap my order just so it would all fit and wouldn't fall out. To pair with the nori wrap, I also ordered the original miso soup, which comes with the usual tofu and seaweed but is on the sweeter side compared to what I'm used to. I personally like it sweeter but if you don't, I probably wouldn't order it. I don't often crave healthy food, but it was fairly filling and I had a good experience, so I'll be back to try out MiSo again! read more

First time visiting. I like the concept of healthier food choices. I chose the Seahawk with all crab salad instead of half ahi tuna and half crab salad. I do enjoy ahi and poke, however the ahi on the line was completely uncovered. In addition, the serving scoop handle was inside the stainless steel container which is not sanitary and screams the potential for food borne illnesses. I did have edamame added. My husband only wanted the bulgogi steak, brown rice and cucumbers with soy sauce on the side. They don't carry cucumbers anymore. I tried ordering a bottle of Pure brand unsweetened tea, and they only carry the sweetened version. Then, I went to get chopsticks and napkins, but the napkin dispenser was bone dry. The portions were large. I enjoyed the flavor and combined textures of my meal. I could only eat about a 1/4 of the bowl, and was full. My husband said the bulgogi smelled good, but he only ate a bite and put it aside. He did not care for it, saying it tasted like "fake meat." I asked if he wanted chicken or a different protein option, and he declined. I can see myself trying Miso again. My husband no. But for the restaurant to be completely vacant when I entered, attention to food safety and detail should be a much higher priority. Edit after the owner's response. The entire serving utensil was inside the uncovered poké stainless steel container. Any raw seafood must be stored properly. It must must be at a safe temperature and covered. An entire serving utensil (handle included) should never be stored inside the serving dish of raw ahi tuna. I was a waitress with a required food handler's permit prior to being a surgical/trauma/cardiothoracic and neurosurgical intensive care Registered Nurse. I have been an RN for over 3 decades. I am an honest Christian and a professional. I do not lie. In retrospect, I should have submitted video evidence of your food line yesterday, as I feel you doubting my concerns that you "are unfamiliar with." Miso rice bowls have been my favorite go to meal for perfectly balanced fresh, flavorful and prepared perfectly. The brown rice was warm, the chicken was fresh, juicy and the perfect amount of flavor. Their prices have risen, as is true with most places. so the value is not there like it used to be but overall a decent value for spending your discretionary money. I've been eying this chain restaurant out for a while since coming to Olympia. It seemed like a Korean chipotle that I oughta try! The location that my friend and I went to is the one in Lacey in Britton Plaza with a drive-thru. There's ample parking stalls that won't ever be a problem or stay in the car and order through the drive-thru. The concept of this place is similar to Chipotle and Subway where you can add as much toppings/sides as you want. Extra meat or protein costs $3 more. I got the Seahawk signature bowl and added some cucumbers. I also added cucumber wasabi sauce on top of the other two sauces that came with it (poke and sweet chili). The bowl wanted to look like a poke bowl but definitely didn't look like one from Hawaii. The bowl looked kind of small, but it was PACKED. It was basically filled with a ton of vegetables and some protein in the middle. I guess it's a really healthy salad with the variety of vegetables (MUCH NEEDED). The mixture of the three sauces gave so much flavor to my bowl. I loved how the tuna wasn't a weird mushy texture and that it was the kind I liked for frozen style. The crab salad wasn't too mayo-y and mixed well with the tuna and vegetables. My friend got the Dragon bowl which was basically curry chicken. And wow. This was AMAZING. the curry was very fragrant, making the chicken taste soooo good. Prices here aren't too bad especially for the amount of sides and sauces you can add on. Miso is great. It never disappoints! Every time I have gone inside or through the drive thru the staff is always quick and friendly. When we have dined in, the restaurant itself is clean and quite spacious. When we have ordered Miso through a delivery service like UberEats, they always get our order right and put a cute little smiley face on the bag. We easily get Miso once a week or more. I ordered takeout and they finished it within 15 minutes. I ordered the Classic and the Dragon Bowl without any additions. The ratio of rice was spot on and both the bowls were flavorful and filling. In terms of pricing, it's pretty reasonable for what you get. I felt like the curry chicken (from the Dragon Bowl) could use a little bit of sauce, since it did feel a tad dry. The flavor was on point though. The classic bowl on the other hand just perfect. Location-wise, it's in a decent spot, especially since I live less than 5 minutes away. It has ample parking as well. This place is a favorite for two reasons: freshness and variety. They are amazingly consistent. I never got a single wilted lettuce or a brown avocado. There's a good selection of meat, veggies, seafood, and sauces. I do miss their orange sauce, which is longer on the menu. Takeout or drive-thru is the best way to order here. Their corn salsa is so good I can eat it by itself. The chicken teriyaki is tasty, not too sweet, with a hint of sesame. There's probably fifty ways to custom your bowl/wrap, and I still have yet to try all the different combinations. In a time when so many things are out of our hands, it's nice to know I still have control over what goes into my lunch bowl. read more

I found my new favorite restaurant in Lacey! I got the Tunami as a wrap and loved it but was not a fan of the cucumber wasabi, beware of that wasabi kick (I barely thought about it) but overall the quality and freshness of all the ingredients were delicious. The place itself was extra spacious and clean. The decor is really cute, so much simplicity and I love it. What makes this place extra great is they have a drive thru! Fast service, healthy delicious flavorful food, and a drive thru? What more can you ask for. I hit up Miso once a week for lunch and I have always received what I ordered. The food is always fresh and hot and I really enjoy the different flavor options and profiles. The staff are generally very quick to answer questions and meet demands. One day when I had ordered online and went to pick up their soup pots were not working and the employee refunded my money and gave me a coupon for my next visit which was great. I usually get one of the lunch rice bowls and add a miso soup and lemonade. I use the soup as a snack the next day or in the late afternoon. It is a lot of food in a smaller bowl! The only thing I would say is when you get all of the toppings (like I do!) it can be a little full to try and mix up but that is mostly my inability to make a decision about what yummy things I would like to add to my lunch. While driving by, we stopped here to grab lunch. There is plenty of parking outside and they were open at 10:30am sharpe like advertised! Very friendly staffs with nice smiles explained how it works. It is basically like a Poke place with Korean twist. You have style choices of bowl with rice or greens, wrap with nori (like sushi roll) or burrito style. They have kids menu $4.99 which comes with a drink! Awesome deal!! We ordered 4 kids wraps and 1 burrito. The burrito was HUGE and heavy!! But not stuffed with heavy stuff like beans. You can also order suggested items if you don't want a hustle of choosing every little thing. Fresh ingredients with tasty variety sauces. We tried chicken and bulgogi as protein, tons of veggies and teriyaki and bibimba sauce. I love the crunchy veggies like takuwan radish, shredded carrots and etc. Jalapeño, olives, edamame, greens, corn, cheese, and forgot more stuff. Bibimba sauce had a nice kick to it. Make sure you like spicy if you pick that sauce. Kids loved the teriyaki sauce. It's very healthy and refreshing to eat this for lunch. After we ate, we wanted more! They cut my food while wrapped in tinfoil. This puts tinfoil pieces in your food. I do not like tinfoil in my food. Please let me know if you like tinfoil in your food. I could not pick out all the tinfoil. I threw my food away. It was a sad day because I was hungry After the response from the owner, I still feel one star is acceptable. No shame or sympathy for having tinfoil in their food, in fact they know they have tinfoil in their food. I will be a one and done customer. Eating tinfoil can be hazardous. read more

Decided to try this place for lunch. Concept is similar to chipotle where you choose a rice bowl, noodle bowl or nori roll then choose your meat and toppings. The counter where your food is prepared appeared extremely messy. That should have been my cue to leave but against my better judgment I ordered anyway. The server was not very friendly and seemed rushed although we were the only ones there. Her green hair was also unkempt and I worried that I'd find a random hair in my food. I think that if you work in the food service industry your hair should be pulled back so as to avoid it dropping in to people's food. We had the chicken rice bowl and a steak nori roll and paid about $34 including tip. Nothing remarkable about it. The rice was mushy. Kim Chi costs extra but seemed old. Avocado is also an extra $2. Overalls the Food was mediocre and overpriced. Service was subpar and the food counter needs a good cleaning. The rest of the place is otherwise nicely decorated and is otherwise clean. read more
