My family and I attended a birthday party at Farelli's Pizza in Lacey this evening, and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had. We've been loyal customers since 2018 and have spent a lot of money supporting this restaurant over the years, which made this experience even more frustrating. The service was noticeably poor from the start. Our waitress rarely checked on our table, and throughout the evening we were never offered drink refills. We had to go out of our way to get attention whenever we needed something. For a large birthday gathering, we expected much better customer service. What really stood out was that a toddler at our table was asked to turn down their tablet. Under normal circumstances that might be understandable, but this was taking place in a restaurant hosting karaoke with loud music and the usual busy restaurant noise. It felt unnecessary and inconsistent given the environment. As long-time customers, we left feeling unwelcome and overlooked. We understand that restaurants have busy nights, but basic customer service, attentiveness, and common sense should still be expected. Sadly, this experience has caused us to reconsider whether we'll be returning in the future. Seemed like Karen behavior coming from the manager looking like a chola. Very disappointed. read more

Very average pizza, especially for the price. We tried Farrelli's because it's within walking distance from our home, and after moving to Washington from California about 6 months ago, we're still on the hunt for a good local pizza place. Unfortunately, this one didn't really impress us. This review is only for the pizza since my husband picked up takeout for our family. We ordered their largest size, which is priced at $31.99 for the Perfect Pepperoni, and it barely felt like enough for three people. We easily finished the whole thing, but that was more because we bought it than because we couldn't stop eating it. The pizza itself was just very average... honestly, I've had frozen pizza, like Digiorno's, that tasted better. I will say that the [mini] pepperoni was actually delicious and probably the best part of the pizza. If you're looking for a good pepperoni topping, they've got that part down. Unfortunately, the crust, sauce, and overall breading were pretty lackluster and didn't meet our expectations for a quality pizza. Thankfully, we got 20% off plus an additional coupon, so we paid roughly half of the original price. But there's no way we would pay the full $31.99 for this quality. At full price, it feels like highway robbery. Maybe our expectations are still influenced by all the pizza we had access to back in California, but so far, we haven't had much luck with local small-business pizza in Washington. I really wanted this place to be a convenient neighborhood option since it's so close to us, but unfortunately, we won't be returning for the pizza. read more

It's nice that they have a 9" personal size. It is plenty for 1-2 people. I tried their fire stick. They were not spicy to me, but then I'm that Korean who needs spicy food on the regular. The Mediterranean pizza was nice and the ingredients all seemed fresh. read more

Taste like every other American pizza. It's all ultra processed Sysco food. Cooking it in a bastardized Italian style pizza oven doesn't help. Putting overpowering cheap garlic oil makes it taste even more synthetic. Waitress got an attitude when we could not pronounce their made up names for their dishes. She came out with the bill while I was still eating. We had a coupon for a free calzone and the waitress only gave us half off on it. We just paid it and left. Why put out coupons if you don't honor them? One and done for us. Lettuce on a calzone doesn't work. read more

We finally tried Farrelli's at the Hawk's Prairie location, and it was...okay. Just...very okay. Our server was friendly and prompt, but we didn't get the "how's everything" check in after the food came. We ordered the Northwest Traditional, which sounded soooo good, but which was just kind of okay compared to its description. My biggest problem was the lack of basil as mentioned in the description. There were a few crispy bits, but not much. I asked for some additional basil, which I was given, but the server explained that when basil is cooked, it dissolves, and that's why there wasn't much on the pizza. I've cooked a lot of basil and eaten even more at restaurants, and I've never, ever had basil "dissolve." So there's that. For the price, there are much better pizza spots in the South Sound. read more

I had nearly given up on a good meal when I passed by this place. I had been wanting pizza so I stopped by. The food was GREAT! some of the best I've tasted in WA so far... I had wings, the meat was falling off the bone and the flavor soaked all the way through...I had meat lovers pizza and it was delicious, the crust was thin with just the right crisp. I washed it down with watermelon lemonade. I topped it off with Pineapple Upside Down cake! Delicious. I took the lasagna to go so that I'd have some of this delicious food for tomorrow. read more

The inconsistency in food really needs to change one day we go in there and you get a decent size side salad and the next day you have more cheese than you do greens I've gone to Tumwater and the Yelm location and I purchased the power play pizza both have been excellent. We ordered the power-play last week and it was delicious yesterday we went there and there was hardly any toppings on the pizza. I don't understand why there is such a huge difference in consistency in the way things are made This location is closest to home, however seriously thinking about making the drive to other locations cause I know exactly what I'm going to get also, Ross is a new hire. He has amazing customer service. I hope you guys keep him around much better than some of the other servers you have some of them can't even smile. read more

My second time to this location. The layout is a little different. We were quickly greeted and seated. Some of the employees are pretty young and new to the workforce. Our service was decent. The prices have gone up at Farrelli's...a personal pizza will run you $17-19, medium $22-28, large $30-38. I don't know if it was because I read through the comments while I was waiting for our food, but the crust of the pizza did seem to have a different taste. The wood fired taste seemed to be lacking, if I had to try to describe what was missing for me. I am curious to know if they make their own crust daily and if it has changed or not. For the prices that are being charged it should be nothing but too notch toppings and ingredients. We enjoyed our meal, but I wouldn't say that we considering this our favorite location. It is, however, convenient when meeting with friends and family in the area. read more

Great food, great service! I ordered pasta and my husband ordered a Calzone. It was perfect. Can't wait to go back

I'm a first time customer and I was not disappointed in the food, but there were a few hiccups. But they were corrected. I ordered a medium pepperoni and cashew, and a medium pepperoni and an order of BBQ wings. All to go. When I got home there was no pizza sauce (or any type of sauce) on the medium pepperoni, just pepperoni and cheese. I called and let them know. The manager was very nice and said she would refund my money for the pizza and I could pick up a new one. So I did. She was very nice and handled the situation very satisfying. The pizza was very good and cooked perfectly . I was a little worried about being skimpy on the topping but they made my threshold for toppings. The wings were very good, some of the best wings I've had at a pizza place. But they did forget my blue cheese which was disappointing. The service was good and friendly. Like I said props to the manager, she handled the situation very satisfying IMO. They also have a very nice restaurant with a bar and plenty of televisions. read more

Spending the night at the north end of Lacey, as dinner time approached, I found myself with a hankering for pizza. Accessing my trusty Yelp app, I found that there was a a Farrelli's less than half a mile from my hotel. I had heard good things about their pizzas, so decided to give them a try. I am quite glad that I did. My server, Olivia, was extremely friendly and helpful. Her service was perfect, always appearing when I needed something, but not being overly attentive. She definitely added to the enjoyment of my experience here. The pizza lived up to its reputation. They have three sizes of pizza: a personal (9 inch), a 12 inch, and a 16 inch. I had the Double Whammy, which apparently is a new addition to the menu. Two kinds of meat, at least two cheeses, finished with fresh basil -- it was great! Their pizzas are wood-fired, so you get just a little bit of char on the crust, which has a nice, medium thinness and is delicious. The toppings were delish too. And at my request, they even substituted the honey drizzle with a pesto drizzle, which added a truly outstanding extra note of flavor. Bonus: they serve you a soft drink if you order one, and refills are free. To wrap this up, hi, really enjoyed my pizza dinner here. In fact, I even asked to speak to the manager, Amanda, to tell her what a great job she and her staff were doing. This is not something I do every meal, by a longshot. I live in the Portland area, but do come through Olympia occasionally, and I look forward to coming to Farrelli's again. read more

First let's discuss the elephant in the room... no delivery ?!? Is that illegal?? Fortunately I recovered from that tragedy and drove my tractor in their quaint parking lot and I'm glad I did, the thing about pizza is .. it's all about the crust, if that fails then you're out.. this is thin, just like I like but not to thin, it's perfect, but the obvious thing is how fresh the stuff is on top, everything is very obviously fresh I'd call this a 4.5 star pizza, there's a 5 star place in California (Celestino's) I tried but I rarely see a 5 star pizza, this is damn close.. now for service, I can't remember her name (I have to go back now) this cute thing from head to toe helped me make the order and helped me at pick up, (starts with a C... ugh) she answered the question I always ask .." What's the Don't Leave Here Without" and I wound up getting 2 extras that were pretty damn good, my favorite was the sausage stuffed inside this incredible thing with dipping sauce (luckily it was cheat day on my diet) You Have To try this, if you like sausage.. don't leave there without it. Chantay... Charlotte.. Cassandra... crap I can't remember read more

My husband and I as well as our non-service dog came to have a nice meal outside. we were told that our non-service dog would be allowed to be with us on the patio while we ate, The waiter gave us menus sat us down and took our order for drinks just to come back five minutes later and address to us that we have to be 21 years or older to sit outside, given that our dog is not a service animal, we were not able to sit inside, very disappointed that this wasn't addressed to us to begin with! read more

This would be 5 stars only the order we had delivered was incorrect. Our order was missing an item. When we called to ask about it. We were told the manager will call us. When he did call the next day they refunded the part of the missing item. I've worked in restaurants and when we messed up on an order the entire amount of order was refunded. We won't be back. Attitude is a must for customers. I will give my money to other places that have excellent customer support. read more

Had great, friendly service in the bar, but the pizza fell very short. Crust is good, but there was a huge lack in toppings. I ordered a personal chicken bacon ranch and added jalapeños. We were so excited when they opened this Farrelli's in our neighborhood. The first 6 months were great but they are now very inconsistent. Our pizza tonight was horrible. They have changed their crust to something that tastes like Dominoes! It was so thick and chewy. It's usually thin, tasty and crispy. My wife called back to ask if they changed their crust. The guy that answered said "we just got a new shipment of crust and it's thicker than normal. And if you have a problem you should talk to our manager Amanda" We would have thought that he would have his manager call us. If this is the level of service that they are going to give, we will go back to the Farrelli's on Yelm Hwy. This place is slipping badly! read more
