Came to Olympia to visit a friend, and this was one of the must-try places she recommended. First impression, I loved the decor. It felt a classic old pizza joint. We ordered a 14" for the two of us, and it was a lot more than we could finish. Their crust was so soft and spongy, but they still kept their pizza thin, which is perfect for my taste. My friend ordered a rootbeer, and she says its one of the best she has had. I ordered myself a small cider and that was a great drink to sip on while eating pizza! If I am ever back in Olympia I would definitely consider stopping by! read more

Let me start off by saying that the staff is great, and the only reason this even gets a 3-star review. They are friendly and helpful and prompt. The pizza is not good, unfortunately. I really wanted to like this place. But, it's really just an expensive Domino's. I ordered the bread wedges which I thought would be like cut up little pieces of dough tossed in garlic oil and cheese. It was basically a cheese pizza with no sauce. It was so soft and pillowy, no crisp, no structure, no flavor. Whenever I try a new pizza place, I always get a standard cheese pie. No need for toppings if the plain pie is good. The pizza itself was not good. Too much cheese, not enough sauce, and no flavor at all to the dough. Almost like they don't add salt to the dough mixture, and maybe don't let it proof; it has no chew. One plus, they did have garlic powder on hand to add for some flavor. This is for the newest East side location, but I couldn't find a listing for them. Let's assume that the pizza at the other two locations are just as good. The ambience was good at the new location, music was nice airflow is good, and they have a nice area for children to play with Hands-On tasks. Was exploring the area and passed by Vic's Pizza. We liked the vibe and the outdoor seating so we decided to give this place a try. They have lots of menu options with very unique types of pizza, and sell pizza by the slice, which is really nice if you want to try different types of pizza. They also have lots of vegetarian options which I thought was great for those who are looking for vegetarian options, they had quite a few! We decided to order the "Scout Special". This one has red sauce, mozzarella, bbq chicken, red onions, and cilantro. I don't love onion so we got half of the pizza with onions and the other half without. It was about a 20 min wait for our pizza but it came out hot and fresh. The pizza dough is soft and a little crispy and had really good flavor! The bbq chicken had a really sweet strong flavor, we could hardly taste the red sauce with how overpowering the bbq chicken was, but it was still really good. Everything was fresh, we had great service, and we loved the vibe of this restaurant. We will definitely be back! read more

Lovely, roomy venue-same great menu with lots of unique snd healthy options! A variety of comfortable seating inside and on an open but covered patio. Other than the music being a bit loud inside (high ceilings:echoey). Same service: order at the counter, they call your name OR they'll bring it to you if it's not too busy. My Greener pizza, first ingredient listed as red sauce had no sauce what so ever. A scattering of toppings and some cheese was bland. The crust soggy and the service less than enthusiastic. This is not the first pizza I have ordered from Vic,s Westside although it was by far the worst and the last. $30 is too much to pay for this level for not willing to put too much effort into a customers pizza. read more

Service sucks on call in orders! Three different times we have placed orders to pick- up. We ALWAYS wait 10 minutes longer than the estimate just to leave our house and we get there only to find that the order wasn't even put in. Then send back home for another hour! Tried two other places and ended up at Vic's. The first pizza joint did not look clean and the pizza slices were old-looking. The next one looked good from the outside but I gave up after circling the block several times looking for a parking space. So, ended up at Vic's which turned out the best option of the three. clean, busy, and friendly. Tried the Pepperoni slice, the Four Cheese and the Nina. They've messed up two pickup orders in row. The kids that work there are not listening when orders are placed. Even accepting an order at the wrong location when specifically asking to confirm correct location. Pizza is wonderful if you eat on-site, just don't order pickup as they can not get it correct. First things first. The food here at the Westside location is generally 4 stars. The calzones are outrageously tasty. I've tried most of their pizzas and liked them all, for the most part. BUT, BUT, BUT...the service is a hassle. Like a "one star for showing up today" kind of hassle. Examples? Try ordering online and then showing up at your appointed pickup time only to have to wait 15 more minutes. Or maybe they didn't see your online order, and just put the ticket in when you show up (and then try to get you to substitute stuff they have ready instead of what you ordered). Or maybe you place your order via phone and the same "show up and wait" game happens. Or the counter staff forgets sauce. Or part of your order. Or they are in a rush and your pie is slightly undercooked. Etc., etc., etc., yadda yadda. Listen, I get it. You're busy and popular and pretty and all that, but y'all need to adjust your prep & cook times, and maybe tweak your attention to detail just a little, hmmm? You could be SO much better. read more

This place came recommended by area friends. My husband enjoyed his slices. The service was friendly. The gluten free crust comes in 10" and 14" sizes which is an improvement over most places that only offer one size. But I'm docking a star because their gluten free crust is like a cracker. (I'm not sure why pizza places seem to think GF crusts should not contain Yeast or anything to add air to the crust. I would recommend to any pizza place considering adding gluten-free crust to their menu, to consider just taking their regular crust recipe, and substituting their regular flour for a gluten-free flour blend. And if the gluten-free flour blend is too expensive, you can substitute with any gluten-free flour plus any starch, in a 2 to 1 ratio. But please keep the yeast! Yikes.) read more

After having not gone into Vic's Pizzaria (West Olympia) for over 15 yrs, just picked up my daughter's phone-in order for two giant pizzas a little less than an hour ago (4:45 p.m.). I have to say that not only was the service exemplary, the order was on time, and both pizzas were piping hot. The pizzas that my daughter chose were the "Sherman" and "Lovely Rita"; which were equally delicious! YUM! Will definitely return and also spread the word! Came here on a whim and i am so glad I did. Originally I went to Headless Mumby Brewery across the street and saw this restaurant. So naturally pizza and beer go hand in hand and wow they did not disappoint. I love the thinness of the crust! I would love to come here again when I'm in the area. I ordered a slice of vegetarian and it came with a bunch of artichoke, sliced potato and mushrooms. It was seriously so good. And the interior was decorated so cute and whimsical. read more

This was my second visit from a few weeks ago. First, on my first visit, shortly after they opened this new location on Pacific, they were very disorganized. This is no longer the case. If you're ordering a very large, single slice or two from the front, you'll get your food quickly. Pizzas are either 14" or 18". My small /14" cheese pizza was $16.97 without a tip. I brought half of mine home for a second meal.The New York style pizza isn't the very best I've ever had, so more in the 70-80/100. The 14" should be enough for 2 adults and 2 children, while the 18" enough for 4 adults. Unfortunately, with only a single person making fresh hand tossed pizzas, expect to wait about 30 minutes to receive your made to order pizza. There is a small children's play area, else nothing to amuse while one waits. The decor is bright and open, and the staff pleasant. read more

Above average pizza with likely the most number of vegetarian pizza options we have seen anywhere. The only hitch is that your food is best consumed not in the restaurant, as you will find all of the tables sticky from not being cleaned. While they try to pull-off a dine-in and takeaway establishment in one, the takeaway business gets all the attention. Make sure to keep tabs on your pizza, as our was nearly 30 mins late and when we asked the 3rd time where it was, as 3 customers who ordered after us all got their pizzas before us, they found the pizza in a box on top of the oven for a dine-in order...#priceless. We were told that it's the same owners as Vic's on Capital. The only same vibe was the root beer. Not that the other Vic's is awful but This Vic's is very cool, relaxed and very accepting of all folk. I looked around and the place was filled with interesting random pictures, magazines and art. That was a plus when I tried the pizza! Slices are HUGE! My first slice was delicious and filling, but I wanted to see if my second slice would pass my bend in half without drooping test like the first slice! Oh my goodness their vegan pizza is AMAZING!!!! Best I've ever had! Cashews, garlic, spinach!!! Yum!!! Better than anything I've had in California. I would give them 6 stars if I could for food quality!!! Service on the other hand. This company, like myself supports equal right and BLM. My brother, an Olympia police officer is also for equal rights. He went in yesterday to get us all pizza and wore a next gator with a blue line supporting law enforcement. As soon as he walked in there was a line of about 10 people ahead of him. He could feel a glare. When he got to the counter after being stared at for over 15 minutes the employee wouldn't acknowledge him. He asked her if he had done something wrong if everything was ok and she wouldn't even speak to him. She then started calling the customer behind him to help the next customer without helping him. Another employee who's super nice asked if the current customer, my brother had been helped. Sadie the rude employee said to her colleague, I'm NOT helping him and walked away. This is NOT ok!!! People need to treat all people equal. If they are black, Asian, white, police, etc. We went to support this wonderful business and their pizza. It's unfortunate their employees treat their customers this way. I pray things change because of this we won't be back. If their policy changes to treat all people kind and not treat others this way we will probably come back because their pizza is amazing. So sad. :( read more
