I'm not usually a frequent pizza eater but I've been here a few times now and gotten the vegan calzone. It really feels like one of the best deals in town! It's easily 1.5 meals and getting to choose so many of your own toppings makes it great for any mood and also makes me feel healthy because spinach is a default topping. The crust is nice and fluffy and chewy and the sauce is really tasty. Also have had the pizza here and it's fine too. Haven't gotten a slice before but I like that I could if in a hurry. The staff here have always been super helpful and it's a cute space for a counter service spot. This location is also way better at lunch because you can actually find parking. No joy was sparked by my pizza. Very poor value for what one gets. I got an 18" speciality pizza for take-out. Very thin crust (about 3mm)- which is great if you like very thin crusts. When they handed me the take-out box, I thought they'd made a mistake, because the box was so light. I paid $32 (pizza + tax) for an 18" pizza which had very little cheese, very few toppings, and took 3 pieces to satisfy. When I eat a speciality pizza from other places, 1 piece is enough. With so little cheese and toppings to hold the heat, by the time I got the pie home (5 min drive) it was already cooled off and the pie needed re-heating. It is fun to watch the pizza chefs hand-toss the dough, and the staff are pleasant. I enjoyed the energetic vibe on a Saturday night. read more

Meet up with friends for a healthy choice lunch...you can choose a slice of ready made hot pizza, or buy one freshly made. Ingredients are fresh, healthy and unique. Pizza is always good. Salads are fine. The staff is always friendly and they make good suggestions. Food is served reasonably fast and with a smile always! (Suggestion: do not order the walnut dressing on pizza.... It looks inedible.) Comfortably self serve and self bus the table, which is perfect for a quick lunch. The separate bar looks friendly and interesting, but we didn't try it at lunch. This place looks like it would be especially great and buzzing with community on a warm summer evening. The only drawback is the inside space is cold in the fall/winter and the acoustics make it very loud and hard to hear. We go back for the food! read more

This location is the best location appearance wise. A little industrial, a little modern. The staff is friendly and explains what's on the pizzas. Gluten free and vegan pizzas available. Order, sit, eat, clean. The pizza has a great base. I found it slightly under flavored. I chose two vegan pizzas slices while my husband chose two meat slices. They get burnt when they're warmed up and they just didn't have a big flavor profile. They have a great concept. I wish they made a sweet potato with mild sausage, feta drizzled with honey and overpowered by cashews. I think that would be a great meat or meatless option. Just replace the sausage with mushrooms. There's beer at the counter, a beer area, and gelato. All in all, I'd come back here again. I just hope they increase the flavor profile. The pizza is delicious, this is our go to after school snack when I'm racing my kids to their sports practices. Super affordable with traditional and eclectic topping options. They're known for their delicious fresh salad too. Also love they have garlic powder, oregano, and yeast to sprinkle on afterwards (parmesan too). Outdoor area is a huge bonus - best part about the new location for sure -- they have table chess, a kids water table, corn hole, etc. Gelato is good, but there are very limited options. Definitely wish there were more slice on demand options regularly that include meat and veggies. (Highly recommend any of the slices with sweet potato, but it's rare to see them) Customer service is kind and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you're on a budget. read more

Olympia WA. Not sure what is up with the yelpers here but OMG what a great place. Ordered a beer while I waited for my hot pizza. They said 25 minutes and it was ready in 15. That's why I always wait for it and don't call it in. Sat and started in on it hot like I like it. Didn't disappoint. This pizza was amazing. Fresh ingredients even down to the shaved sausage links. That's how you know a great pizza, ingredients. Large slice pepperoni and Canadian bacon. Same with the salami. I couldn't stop eating this. 1/2 in the restaurant. Another slice in the car. One more at the stoplight to the hotel. One more in the hotel. Two slices left. Bet they don't see the dawn. I've eaten a lot of pizza in the sound. Lots. This is number 1 now. Second time here. First time, we had the Phat Joe Foldover Pizza. It was amazing. Second time...THE OX. Incredible! Vic's is a staple in Olympia and super cool that there is now an east side location. Counter service rules all because there's no waiting for a server. Pizza should be counter service and Vic's does it correct. It's always a little loud in the restaurant, but even in May, it's chilly outside so we are relegated to the middle school lunchroom noise. I've been to this location and another location. This location definitely has better sound management. It also has decent parking too! We got the phat Joe pizza which was similar to a calzone pizza. I would recommend asking it to be cooked a little crispier, since there is more door. When we reheated our leftovers we got it crispier and it tasted way better. We sat in the bar even though it was closed, but it was opening in a half hour, the counter girl said. The bartender came on shift and said NOT ONE WORD to us. He was an absolute jerk. My husband tried to talk to him and he basically ignored him. No offer of drinks - which is why we sat there in the first place. We got our food, it was great. We got no plates. My husband had to go ask for them.... Like the other Vic's locations. I will not return to this one. Maybe none of the others either. Went there for my birthday lunch yesterday. Cashier looked stoned or just not interested. my husband ordered a gluten free canadian bacon. The crust was doughy and there was hardly any canadian bacon on it and maybe 8 pieces of fermented pineapple. very disappointed. Don't come here if you are in a hurry on a Sunday evening. I phoned ahead for takeout, they said it would be 45 minutes, I arrived and they said they were running behind and it would be another 15-20 minutes. So over an hour for one 18" pizza...that's crazy. They seemed fully staffed, just unprepared and slow. Even waiting in line they weren't the quickest to take orders. If we didn't have a gift card from a friend, would have left as it was ridiculous to wait that long for 1 pizza at a pizza joint! Wasn't a complicated order, just their Ox pizza. Heard great things about westside location, but avoid eastside location. Pizza was pretty good, not what I expected based on reviews and feedback, so thinking it's just this location. Amazing pizza!! What a hidden gem. We discovered Vics due to another restaurant being closed due to the sweltering heatwave. This place is interesting due to their unique pizzas and constantly churned creamy ice cream. We got their version of a meat lover's pizza and a cheese pesto based pizza. Both were very good. For dessert, we had their ice cream, and I've got to say that the coconut flavor was my favorite. I seriously recommend visiting this pizza restaurant. read more

I've gone to Vic's Pizza on the West Side plenty of times for lunch, but this last visit was ridiculous. I ordered two slices and a soda. The gal at the counter said the slices had "just come out and were hot." Nope. I sat down, took a bite, and they were cold. I brought them back and asked to have them warmed up. She said "ok" and took them toward the oven. A minute later, another worker comes over to my table and tells me they can't reheat them because of "health codes" -- but according to her, I could buy more slices at a discount. Are you kidding me? You serve me cold pizza, refuse to fix it, and then try to sell me more? That's beyond insulting. If you mess up, own it and make it right. Don't push your mistake back on the customer. I feel like Olympia is the city back on the rise. I've lived in Olympia since 1997. I seen it linger through the old days, suffer through the Covid years, and go through this newer phase attempting to clean up downtown and add new fresh business in places including amazing eateries. The last time I was at Vics was at the location on the west side, on division. My wife suggested getting pizza from here. For her, the menu looked appealing enough remotely. We opted for the chicken pesto, with artichoke hearts. And, an order of cheese bread. The large pizza got us through three family meals after bringing the pie home. Even after having a little while to cool down, the pizza was extremely flavorful when we got home. It's a thin crust so, being a native New Yorker. Thin crust is super important to me, and there's is very good. Whoever is slinging pies behind the counter definitely knows what they're doing. Their cheese bread here has to be the best cheese bread I've had at any pizza joint literally anywhere. It was as much a cheese pizza as it was cheese bread. As matter fact, I consider this cheese bread better than most cheese pizzas I've had at other locations, with, other pizza providers. The decor at Vic's is contemporary and shows a step forward from my last visit with them, which must have been decades ago. What I liked about the Eastside location was they seem set up to handle the business. They were doing this Saturday afternoon. There were people gathered outside, standing having conversation. Others still, there were outside having their pizza in the seating area, and others, still enjoying their pizza in the seating inside. The bar didn't seem to have any activity but again this was a Saturday afternoon about 1 o'clock so, that didn't surprise me. Taking a look, though at the bar menu they have several options. They would be interesting enough if you were thinking about trying them. Including a couple of signature cocktails Made only at Vic's. I love when places have options and the modern diner not only needs options but expects them. Most importantly I'd seen at the bar, the reserve to right to refuse service to someone not handling themselves appropriately while drinking which is awesome! A bit pricier than international brands, but this is that weighed by the overall quality, and of course supporting a local business! I was glad to stop by here and look forward to the time when I can come again! Highly recommended if you're thinking about it, go ahead and give em a shot! read more

We had such a lovely night here with my parents for my dad's 81st birthday! My elderly mom who is in a wheelchair had easy accessibility & parking, access to the restroom, kind service, and lovely n/a beer and wine options to choose from! She was so pleased with the service she requested that I leave some carrot cake cupcakes for the lovely staff! The bar and bartender were classy and accommodating. For a counter-service restaurant our treatment as a family reigned supreme, even when compared to local fine dining. The double crusted "Phat Joe", and my personal favorite, the Cape with clams, garlic, and pecorino, were spot on at this new location! To be honest, one of my favorite things about Vic's pizzeria is the Italian dinner size shareable salads. The balsamic vin dressing on the side makes a divine dipper for a slice of the Cape, and all the accoutrement makes for formidable add-ons to a slice of pepperoni or cheese (my son opted for a slice of each instead of the more gourmet options we chose for mains!) We just got home from Wednesday night pizza at Vic's on the Eastside! It's a beautifully constructed patio with a guy playing Spanish guitar music, games and just a terrific setting. Pizza is delicious as are the salads and calzones. They have a bar and ice cream ... there is only one thing lacking. I was craving a Diet Coke but they only have Diet Pepsi- yuck! If anyone working there reads this PLEASE stock some Diet Cokes or Coke Zero!! You have regular Coke so it should be easy. Thanks from a fan! read more
