We came as a table of 2 on a Saturday around 7pm. We were seated right away at a really nice table with beautiful flowers everywhere. The service was very good and they were attentive. We ordered fresh rolls as an appetizer and they were very good with generous peanut sauce. I ordered the Pad Bah Mee which had great flavor. Very sizable portion with medium spice. The other dish was the Pad See-ew which I think stole the show. The next time I return I want to order that! Can't go wrong. The beef was very good and the entire meal was very tasty. We found a gem of a place today - Jasmines Thai in Lacey, WA. The exterior was welcoming, with beautiful flowers and outdoor patio seating. The inside was so cozy. The staff was attentive and very friendly and the lunch arrived quickly. Dad couldn't wait to have the coconut water, with real coconut pieces. Lunch was absolutely delicious!!!! We will defend eat here again, and looking forward to it. Dad had Golden Cashew: Sautéed tofu with roasted cashew nuts, bell pepper, celery, onion, carrot, mushroom and chili sauce. Leise had Jasmine Medleys: Prawns, calamari and scallops sautéed with mushroom, carrot, onion, baby corn, bell pepper, celery and Chef's secret sauce. Sis and I are trying to make our way through all the Thai restaurants of Lacey, and so far it's been so so. Tried this place and Sis was very pleased. I ordered the Pad See Ew and it was pretty good and full of steak, so I felt I got my money's worth. The Tom Kha soup was a really good choice because I like coconut and the soup was good for Sis' cold. She thought it did more to help her than chicken soup so big thumbs up from her. Lastly we tried the Larb Gai salad. It was different and I don't know how I feel about it but it it was another dish with a good amount of beef. Jasmine Thai is one of my favorite spots in Lacey. When I stop in for lunch I almost always get the Tom Kah soup with prawns and a side of rice. Their Thai tea is also the best around. I'll stop by just to pick one up sometimes. I usually order the Spicy Chicken (not spicy... I know, ironic) -- crispy chicken with a really good sweet chili sauce. Their rice dishes are also consistently good. The Pineapple Fried rice is definitely my top pick. The Crying Tiger salad is another dish I love. It has marinated beef, lime juice, toasted rice, peppers, and lots of red onion. If you're into red onion, it's amazing. The staff is always friendly and polite, and the place feels welcoming every time. It's a small spot tucked away a bit, but they never disappoint. Definitely recommend! read more

This place is a hidden gem, a small family owned eatery that when I had the urge to eat noodles (and that doesn't come very often) this place delivered !! You can go get the stuff in Costco or other market but this is flavor-town and you can't beat this .. I had the small noodles (I forget ) but they were amazing with the sauce from the dish my daughter had .. that alone fed that need for noodles a "Do Not Miss" item is the crab wontons but all of the appetizers were little flavor bombs of bliss.. We were passing through Lacey and so we had to stop in for lunch at Jasmine Thai. We still give it 5 stars, but do have a few critiques about our dishes. I got the pad thai with tofu medium (2 on a scale of 1-4). The fried tofu was too spongy and there wasn't enough spice, so next time I'll get a 3 and either fresh tofu (if they have it) or chicken. My wife got the drunken noodle and really enjoyed hers (2 spice). My son loved his tofu pad thai (spice level 1). My daughter really liked her pad see ew with beef (spice level 2 was hot for her, but I also think she enjoyed it). Prices also seemed a bit high ($7 for a thai iced tea!), but you do get large portions. We'll be back! read more

In the bottom of the container was a very watery liquid that I think they would want to be sauce . The sauce had zero flavor it was the worst orange chicken I have ever had in my life . The other dish was cashew chicken which look like cashew chicken soup . It had so so flavor and the rice . Yes we got jasmine rice the menu talks about the flavor and with garlic the rice had no flavor at all I had to put salt and pepper and butter on my rice to give it a little bit of flavor when I used to. This was a pitstop for us as we were heading south on I5. Thai food seemed like the thing we needed. We called in our order ahead and it was ready by the time we reached our exit, approximately 15 minutes. I ordered the Chicken Larb Gai salad and an order of Fresh Rolls with peanut sauce. The Larb Gai Salad was a large serving, very fresh, with tons of ground chicken. The thing I loved most was the hint of orange. I've eaten Larb Gai salad 100 times and I've never had one with orange! Mind Blown! This seems like a game changer. Fresh Rolls were large, fresh and delicious. Too bad we were only passing through. Oversized, I might need to eat this once a week!! Go here, try it!! Our party of 3 came after the full ,busy & very noisy lunch service. The varied servers are friendly & nice, almost to a fault( because they forget to bring your tea, or remember to bring a spoon, or resolve our bill, etc.) But I wonder how fluent they are in English. Our food was average, not great nor terrible. The Pad Thai noodles weren't smooth & silky but rather a stuck blob of noodles. The shrimps bland & undercooked. And, there were few sides which adds to the dish ie; chopped carrots, bean sprouts, cilantro, lime slice & peanuts. My friend found the green curry bland. The other guest said her chicken with vegetables was not only bland but dry. However , our biggest issue came with our separate checks! We specifically requested at the outset who was paying for what as it was a birthday luncheon. Instead we all got charged multiple items on our tickets. They processed 1 card before we noticed the error. I paid in cash with a tip & they didn't understand all of it was for them . Instead I got my tray with half my tip amount. Then the 2 servers helping us hid in the kitchen & refused to help us resolve this. We waited for 10 minutes! As seniors, we aren't pushy or rude & we just didn't have the energy to pursue this further. We chalked it one of those strange happenings. Our takeaway is not to step foot in this restaurant again! Really nice Thai place in Lacey that has some of the best Pad Thai around. I usually like Pad Keep Mao as my go to noodle dish, but there's is very good, with one exception. They don't put any egg in their Pad Thai and charge you $2 00 to add one egg. Never had Pad Thai that didn't come with egg, including vacationing in Thailand. So that brings the price up to $20+. Their stir fry dishes are very good and authentic, but the portions are not worth the almost $20 price tag either And the beef they use is very poor quality. Curries are very good to excellent, but then the beef issue comes up again.....I think we're going back to Esan Zap from now on. You get what you pay for there and it's very authentic too. read more

Me and the family had a wonderful lunch here a couple of days ago. We had thai iced tea (a lil sweet, less sweet than usual but still good), chicken pad thai, chicken pad see ew, #26, and #29 (I can't remember the names of those dishes). The spice scale is 1-4 and I chose 1. It had a lil heat but I probably could go to 2. The service was friendly, waters refilled, food was served piping hot. Very flavorful; everything is fresh. Peanut dipping sauce contains coconut and is a nice touch. Snow peas contained fresh ginger and garlic and the veggies were lightly cooked to the right crunch point. Excellent service. Looking forward to trying more dishes on their extensive menu. read more

First time we had eaten there. I asked to have a taste of their "special sauce" before I ordered the dish. "No, we don't do that." How hard is it to give a spoon taste?--- Well, could I have it on the side? "No, we don't do that." I understand they usually cook the vegetables in that sauce but they could have cooked the dish in water or some oil, just to be accomodating to the customer. The green beans in our dishes were basically raw which doesn't do well with my husband. The food was ok but with so many Thai places around, we will try them and maybe find some that are flexible to a customer's requests. read more

I used to come here twice a week when I lived across street, but since I've moved away I still think this is the best Thai restaurant in Lacey/Olympia area. I would say it is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Puget Sound area even. My usual orders are Tom yum with vegetables, pad kee mao with chicken, and pad thai. You can get anywhere from no spicy to 5 stars. For $13.99-$15.99 or so, you get a decent amount of food. If I absolutely have to complain about this place, is that I felt the portions were too small. But when I went recently, I was delighted to find that they were more generous with their portions now. I have tried most of the items on their menu, I would also highly recommend their crab fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and any of their curries.
