This is our favorite Thai restaurant... lunch or dinner. Always fresh, hot, flavorful and delicious! My husband is a Pad Thai guy and NO OTHER Pad Thai measures up to Bangkok's!! I've tried many options: curries, salads, noodle dishes, pineapple chicken fried rice (DELISH!), and many vegetarian options, all uniquely tasty! AND if you ever feel under the weather- just ask Koty for her special soup (Tom Yum).... Michelle, the server, greets most everyone by name, and is familiar with SO many "regulars", knowing their favorite dishes. Always friendly, responsive, refilling water and checking back to ensure the meal is excellent! They do an incredible take out business, and be assured each item is made as ordered, fresh, hot, and fairly quick. No pre-made, reheated food here. Limited seating during peak times, but it's worth the wait - or order it as take out! If you eat here once- you'll go back again and again! read more

Not only did we really enjoy the food, but the staff and atmosphere were awesome. We heard more than one customer come through the door only to be asked if they wanted "the usual." The staff immediately knew what they wanted and got things going. We were made to feel welcome, and enjoyed our interactions with the staff. I can't recommend Bangkok Thai enough. read more

I was the one researching good food, and it was the couple's first time trying Thai cuisine! We ordered egg rolls, yellow curry, Chinese fried rice, orange chicken, and pad Thai, everything was amazing! The food made us so happy. We had a comfy spot, delicious dishes, and a friendly server. Just ordered two Fresh Spring rolls with peanut sauce and I ended up throwing them away! They were awful! Toll was just shredded iceberg lettuce with some bits of noodle and shredded carrots and half of a prawn. But the worst was the peanut "sauce"! It was rice vinegar with just enough peanut butter mixed in to color it. I do not recommend this place nor will I ever come back. read more

Delicious Thai food at a smallish dining room with even smaller tables. Very active take out business. Our party had two Chinese dishes and two Thai dishes. The cashew chicken was delicious and flavorful. It came with white rice. There was a very generous amount of chicken. The shrimp chow mein had a ton of noodles but the shrimp was shredded. Would have been more convenient to eat had the shrimp been left in original form. I had pad heua singkhai medium spicy which was amazing with the complexity of flavors of sauce, chicken, onions, carrots, peppers and green beans. I could have used less green beans. Very good taste. The chicken LARB was flavorful and excellent. Note that there are no deserts. Very good food, very small tables. read more

Our first time here, thanks for the recommendation, Yelp. It is a tiny, spotlessly clean spot. Service was prompt and friendly. Tiny restaurant/big menu including lots of vegetarian options. The food was generous and delicious. I had their new peanutbutter curry. It doesn't hit you in the face with PEANUTBUTTER. It is very rich and creamy. If I was going to make a suggestion, not a complaint, I would prefer the onions to be smaller, perhaps half the size they are. It was lovely and I am taking home plenty for dinner tonight. My partner had the combo pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beef, chicken, pork, prawns all in lovely sauce with veggies. We will definitely return and bring friends. read more

My stir fry with chicken was awful. The chicken just didn't taste right. The chicken taste spoiled . I had to pay for my meal although I did not eat it. The waiter went to the chef who said the food was cooked fine which it didn't. Chicken taste like it was alive. read more

I love this place, literally my all time favorite Thai place. I've been coming here with my family since I was a kid and now I come as an adult with my boyfriend and friends. They are allergy friendly! Peanut allergies too! My boyfriend is deathly allergic and we've just let them know ahead of time and we have never had a problem. Fried tofu. Hands down my fav. Sooooo good! Went it to grab dinner one night. So thought I ordered 2 pad see ew but apparently I ordered pad thai. Can't blame them for that cause I went in to order. And though the pad thai wasn't what I really wanted, it was good! Flavors were solid and spice was well with the sweetness of the pad thai. Also, loved the fried tofu. Cute little place. I'm vegan and there were plenty of choices. We stopped on our road trip for an early dinner and the lady working was knee what she was doing. She had the best recommendations for options because we couldn't decide between all the yummy choices. Every dish came out so hot we had to wait to eat it. Most people order for take out and there are tables to eat if you want to sit and dine in. If you are like me and enjoy spice a medium spice level will taste mild. read more

The food was amazing, great vegan options and the fried tofu and spring rolls were top tier. I was a little skeptical at first because of the location, a little hole in the wall. But this place is a hidden gem. Our waitress was so kind and gave us the best service. Even taking the time to wrap our spring rolls we were taking home so they wouldn't dry out. Le sigh. 5 years later and I must say the quality of their food had drastically gone down. They usually have only one cook and I think he's tired or needs extra assistance. I used to love getting their fried rice and pad Thai because they were so flavorful. Now the pad Thai barely has any sauce, and the meat on the fried rice are always brown and hard like they've been sitting out for 2-3 days. Not only that but the rice texture is hard... the worst part is that now it always lacks flavor... like it looks seasoned, but it's not. Lowkey makes me sad because now I gotta find a new Thai place to go to around Lacey. read more

What a delightful find in an unexpected location. Hidden on the back of the Fred Meyers bldg in Lacey, this restaurant surprised us with its excellent fare. The Pad Thai with pork was very good, and the green curry was the best we've had. For appetizers, we had very fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce and they were excellent. The staff was courteous, thoughtful, and responsive. We ordered takeout, so it's hard to comment on the ambiance, other than to say it looks cozy. I'm certain we will be able to say more about the atmosphere when we return...which we most certainly will. Could be the best Thai in Lacey/Olympia! Strongly Recommend. read more

One of the best dinners weve had for the weekend in a long time! We tried our local place for pad thai a week ago and it was alright, but this place is the best by far! When you get to the front door make sure to please wear a mask. You can call and order or walk in and place an order to go. The lady that greeted me was very sweet and kind and when i asked her what thought of the " new peanut butter curry " that was in the menu she said it was her favorite. So of course i got that at a heat level of 2 and the Pad Thai combo at a heat level of 3 (they have three heat levels). I placed my order and walked over to Bubble Island for two large drinks and walk back, which took about 15-18 mins altogether to get my drinks, place them in the car and walk back to get my food. Everything was super hot and freshly made. Drove my 45 min drive back home and everything was still perfect! Will try other menu items next time! read more

Pros: food is awesome! I've had No. 14, 36, 38, and 39 and I have no complaint whatsoever. Big portion, good value, and everything is super tasty. Take out containers are made of paper and eco-friendly materials. Good service and fast! 10% discount if you pay with cash. I visited twice for take out and I think most patrons have been opting for take out as well. However, I saw customers walked in who had called in advanced to order and reserve tables. 100% Thai, Managed by Husband & Wife for 10 Years! No regrets. Fast, delicious, friendly. Most of all, HOLLLAAAA they actually put tons of ingredients in the dishes. They don't skimp out on quality. Meats, veggies, lemon grass, galangal, cooked and handled well. The textures, colors, and taste don't lie. Food tastes fresh - no chewy meat, mushy mushrooms, soggy onions. The chicken was much thicker than the chicken teriyaki you'd get at Panda Express and while the teriyaki sauce tasted a bit different, I enjoyed it. The meat was moist and tender and so delicious. And the portions were big too. I ended up taking about half of each entree and 3/4 of my steamed veggies and put them in a separate bowl to eat and saved the rest for dinner the following night. While this place might be a little more expensive than Panda, I think the higher quality of the chicken absolutely makes it worth it! I got here around 5pm on a Monday and I ordered right away and they had the food out in about 10 minutes. If I eat here again I'd probably ask for the sauce on the side so I could choose how much to put on it but I was thoroughly impressed and I enjoyed my meal a lot. And I was really glad I could sub out the white rice for steamed veggies. Next time I've got a craving for chicken teriyaki I'd definitely choose this spot over Panda. I was looking forward to sitting down, relaxing, and enjoying a meal. The hostess was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, kind, and attentive from the moment I walked in. Because the ramen menu doesn't list the ingredients, I specifically asked what was in it before ordering. I was told about the noodles, meat, egg, bamboo shoots, and green onions. Corn was never mentioned. When my ramen arrived, I stirred it and noticed corn throughout the bowl. I don't like corn, but I tried to make it work because I didn't want to be difficult. I tried it with the meat. I tried it with the egg. I tried just the broth. Everything tasted like corn, and I simply couldn't eat it. When the hostess came by, I explained what had happened. She looked genuinely upset for me and tried to help. She took it back, but came back to tell me the only option was to pick the corn out because they couldn't remake it. I explained that removing the corn wouldn't help because the broth itself tasted like corn. A manager came over and, after we looked at the menu together, acknowledged that corn wasn't listed. She refunded the ramen, which I appreciate but I really wanted the food, and that was the end of the conversation. By then I was sitting there trying not to cry. I know it may sound silly to some people, but this wasn't just about corn. I had finally done something for myself after a long time. I was so excited to enjoy a meal in one of my favorite restaurants, and instead I left feeling embarrassed, disappointed, and honestly heartbroken. I wasn't looking for free food. I wasn't trying to complain. I just hoped someone would say, "We're so sorry. Let's make you something you can actually enjoy." Instead, I paid for my salad, fighting back tears of embarrassment and sadness got in my car and drove home. The hostess showed genuine compassion, and I'll always remember how hard she tried to help. I only wish the same level of care had come from management. I truly hope the restaurant updates its menu to include all of the ingredients in its ramen and empowers its staff to remake a dish when a customer specifically asked about the ingredients before ordering. If I had an allergy, it would have been an extremely even more horrendous outcome. It would have turned a heartbreaking experience into one where I felt cared for. I wanted a comforting dinner. Instead, I went home in tears.

I also didn't want to place the order at the restaurant because I was so hungry and wanted to grab & go :( I was really craving pho and I liked their menu, so I took the chance and ordered both a regular-sized Meatball Pho (pho bo vien) and their Pho with Steak/Flank/Tendon/Fatty, which seems to be their "pho dac viet." On their menu, the price is listed as $15.99 for a Regular size and $17.99 for a Large. I paid $17.99 for each through Doordash for the regular-size, excluding the almost $4 of tax and bag fee.. Thankfully, I live nearby, so it was just a few minutes to drive over. It's in the same busy parking lot as Safeway and McDonald's but it's more on the opposite side, so I never realized it was in the same lot. Plenty of parking, at least. When I entered, the restaurant had plenty of seating but only a few tables occupied, which made me wonder why they didn't answer their phone.. I know I'm being petty over a few dollars but I just want to get bang for my buck. The inside looked nice and cozy, and I think would be a lovely place to enjoy a bowl of pho on an outcast/rainy day otherwise (if I didn't just want to go straight home lol). I was instantly greeted by a friendly employee that asked if I had a takeout order and escorted me over to a small table, where it was already neatly bagged and ready for me to retrieve. Now, the FOOD. I will say, it was absolutely delicious! Everything was organized and packaged well, so nothing spilled on the ride home. The pho was a good temperature: hot enough to cook the steak, but not overpowering enough to burn your mouth. The regular size still provides ample portions, so both my kiddo and I ate half for lunch, and our other half for dinner. I specifically asked for no beans sprouts with my order, so I do like that they provided enough for my son while still following my instructions. I am not too picky about my pho broth, but I can at least say, the broth here was not watered down. If anything, it might pack too much flavor and might deter some customers, but for me, it was savory and divine! I still had to add my obligatory hoisin and Sriracha sauces, so it might not be the healthiest, but i don't care, I slurped up everything! I usually post images of my food on social media [stories], and actually had a friend ask what the soup was because it looks really good. Some people have a finer palette for "good" Pho but for me, pho is pho as long as it is flavorful and there's a fair amount of MEAT! They offer moderate portions here so I can't complain, and everything was satisfying enough when eaten with the broth. 4 stars because they didn't answer the phone but my son and I devoured everything, so we can at least advocate that the pho is worth it! I'd recommend trying out this restaurant at least, especially if you consider yourself a pho connoisseur (or even a newbie to pho!).

My teenage son even commented on how good his was, and trust me, teen approval is not handed out lightly. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and each sandwich was totally unique and delicious. I can confidently say I have found a new favorite sub spot. Now this is very close to the authentic pad thai in Thailand. 3 stars was more like 5, but I love spicy food. The chicken pad thai was excellent. I finished half and took the rest back to my hotel room. The place is relatively small (maybe about 8 or 9 tables) but they were nearly all taken. I had the thai tea which was very good, too! Tried most Thai restaurants around Olympia/Lacey, this place in my opinion is the best. Huge portions, reasonable price, and absolutely delicious. I usually go with the Yellow Chicken Curry, but I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy. read more

The combos are great because you can get curry and noodles, which is often an either/or debate when it comes to Thai food. The food itself is good, nothing mind blowing but fills a specific purpose in a completely satisfactory way. Oh I should add that like most places in Washington, it is not at all spicy even if you order 4 out of 5 spiciness level. Service is good and no quality issues at all. Always look forward to this place when I want a lot of food comfort!
